I started seeing him on somewhat right leaning comedy podcasts I follow (Who Are These Podcasts? for instance) and after that he started becoming more vocal politically. Never really was a political guy before then.
My favourite bit of the Official Podcast clips is seeing all 3 of the other hosts awkwardly sitting there waiting for Kaya to finish his weird unhinged never-ending Destiny soyrants so they can talk about something they actually care about. I've gotta say that this really gives me a new perspective on Charlie. For 20 years teachers have told me that wikipedia is bad and not a reliable source but I still used it for my school work anyway and the teachers never even noticed or thought the information I used was incorrect. Charlie’s claim to fame at the end of the day is being the guy who airs out other people’s dirty laundry. I used to watch him during his gameplay/commentary days, when I used to enjoy him the most. Granted, I’m happy for him that he’s happier now than he was when he did those types of videos, but it’s just disappointing overall.

I never really understood the wikipedia hate. For 20 years teachers have told me that wikipedia is bad and not a reliable source but I still used it for my school work anyway and the teachers never even noticed or thought the information I used was incorrect. What's the difference between using wikipedia and any other website? What's the difference between getting the info from wikipedia instead of some dusty old library book?
