I’m turning 14 and I’m overweight I’m around 190 pounds and I didn’t realize this didn’t say beginner and this was actually so hard to do while holding up my body weight but thanks this was fun and I didn’t do any of the easier options
Good for you, that's awesome!but listen - there is NO shame in modifying poses if you need or even just want to. Make your yoga practice your own. Find what feels good. We're all on our own paths and that's as it should be. I hope you continue to care for yourself, whether that means developing a regular yoga practice or something else. Namaste 🙏🏻
They say the most difficult part of yoga practice is to place your mat on the floor. I practiced the intermediate Iyengar style for 3 years and took a break during my pregnancy. 3,5 months after birth I am getting back to my routine slowly. 15 minutes a day. This was absolute perfection. I’ve been struggling with a back injury for a year, and just started to get back to my practice. I was able to do this entire flow with modifications from my bed, and it was so nourishing. A million thank yous. 🙌

I loved this one because we did so much in such a little time, still without feeling rushed. With a short class, there isn't enough time to warm up to get to really advanced poses, but this one wasn't too easy or basic either - just right. I would love to see a bigger variety of shorter routines like this. I try to do one of your twenty-minute classes every morning before work, and longer ones on the weekend, but it would be nice to have more 15- or even 10-minute options for days when I feel rushed but still want to carry on my practice. I love this scene as well. It reminds me of the view from the reading room in Belmar Library in Colorado.

Perfect to start your day, loved the part that Charlie added which is usually forgotten by the most “The Warm up”. It sends strong instruction that even-if its just for 15 mins you should never skip the warmup.

I never use to like yoga I use to feel it's so boring but when I left gym and I had no workout for 3 years i became overweight and I felt depressed seeing myself like that but i started doing yoga and I'm loving it everyday now it's so good for your soul and body❤

Thanks for this, I do intense martial arts training and I have bruises and scrapes all over my body, and I hadn't properly stretched so I was immensely sore. I haven't done yoga before, but I gave this one a go and I liked it. It made me feel a lot better.
