Thanks for the good watch. I played my Dwarfs against my Lizzie fren a lot for 7th and 8th edition. Brings back memories. It's nice of him not to go magic heavy.
Just spam lasers and fireballs. I'm working on a list with a Slann with Battle Magic, Lore Familiar, and Cube. Then 2x Engine of the Gods. Saurus feel trash for their points, awful WS and I. But you can laser things off the table pretty well.
@@MountainMiniatures I might also be missing something, but catching the curs on pg157 seems to only apply if you catch a fleeing unit, not if you wipe out > overrun
Are you sure the charge then overrun both require a dangerous terrain check from the sapper? It says "not fleeing or in combat". So i think a successful charge would mean youre directly into combat no? It didn't matter, he passed the second anyway.
And im sure the saurus would have fled out of range of the dangerous terrain after losing to the slayers. The rule is "ends their movement" not moved at all
The mechanic where a unit of dwarfs sacrifices a champion, does nothing and wins combat is just weird. There should be an addendum where you need to do at least a wound to win combat in any circumstance, otherwise it should be a draw even with a musician.
I like the way you guys have the batreps set up but you two clearly are trying to play very different games and it makes it hard to get interested. One guy is taking very well thought and optimized lists lists and the other is taking stuff because it looks cool. I like to watch both styles but its more fun when both players are on the same page
That's the whole charm of the channel. 2 dudes playing a game that you could find in your local gaming store. Luka's lists may be themed, but they usually perform well enough to give Steve fits. Even WoC into Space Lasers was a good game that a few dice rolls decided the game.
I like this way of showing the army better! Nice to get the whole army in one shot
This army showcase format is great! See the whole army and get good Steve n Luka banter!
I much prefer this way of showing the force because you actually see the army list being played
I like the new format of army showcase. If it's happening live, it'd be cool to point out some of which models/units your currently talking about

Those trees are sick!
Thunderes and slayers are S3 so using GW they should wound saurusee on 3 not 2
Those stupid cold ones! If they’d charged it’d probably have been GG!
Lizardpeeps need an arcane journal so bad... damn you GW and your "Legacy" shenanigans.

Khazukan Kazakit-ha!
Where are those trees from?
Great stuff Gents. Army show case is fine 👍
Any thoughts on running an old world campaign?
I was positive the only time you couldn't reform was when you overrun. It says move forward without pivoting, nothing else.
If you pass a ld test you can reform after overrunning if you wiped out or caught you opponent

I created your dwarf list on the Old World Builder app steve but it only came to 1873 points. Were you short on points?
question can lizardmen temple guard take wounds for a slain when targeted by magic missle attacks

Are those trees available anywhere? The game is looking more and more like AOS.
Id rather see the minis close up.
