    55:00 I agree with Luka. It is quite possible for units which are corner to corner to pivot towards the same direction to break contact. As a bigger example, a unit which is 7-10 wide could end up with a decent difference.

      yeah, Steve wasnt pivoting over the center of the units, but weirdly over their point of contact. As soon as a unit has to pivot even a mm to flee, the pursuit unit will never catch them if it rolls the same result.

    So at 52:02 where the Swordmasters flee: P 154 says: "Unit Strength of the winning side is more (!!) than twice that of the losing side ". -> Double outnumber +1
    Here it is exactly double, so they just should FBIGO.
    Or do I Miss Something?

    You probably already looked up the hellpit thing, but it only comes back to life ONCE in a game. "THE FIRST TIME a Hell Pit Abomination loses its last Wound, roll a D6 before removing the model from play:"

    Easy to forget, but I'm pretty sure the -1T effect of the vortex was forgotten at least once where it mattered (Doomwheel vs Lothern in the flank)

    When firing the doomwheel, don't forget to roll the artillery die for strength even if you miss, as it could be a misfire (you forgot the first time)

    When you cast the stinky cloud around 46 min mark and ate the warp token, does a roll of a 1 only apply to tokens extra die or any of the dice in the casting roll? Thought I saw a 1 in there somewhere??

      My interpretation is, The subject of the sentence is the warp stone token, not the casting roll, so the roll of a one imposing a wound would only apply to the warpstone token.

    A nice game. However, I still don't understand why many Skaven players overrate Doomwheel and Stormvermins and underrate Jezzails. IMHO Doomwheel and Stormvermins are some of the most useless things in a Skaven army (in TOW especially since 10 pts for one Stormvermin is a lot in the context of how common it is). In contrast, 10 Jezzails can unleash hell.

      Jezzails can be great, but they can not shoot through their own models, the 1s remove from play thing, and last but not least their terrible Ld.
      If you can fit 10 next to each other on a hill, nice, and even then their BS means they will usually hit on 5s and 6s. Shooting is not great in ToW. But might be a nice idea to try out, instead of other artillery.
      Stormvermin are a bunker unit, that can occasionally do something with S4 and buffs...

      it a clear marketing decision. They dont want boxes being dual use between sigmar and fantasy. Cant tell which department deserves more funds.
      Skaven staying in sigmar means skaven in fantasy wont be a thing past legacy

    Elves should not do a shooting game with skaven. They would never win that. Up and at them before they can use their magic and shooting to kill your precious and expensive troops

    7:20 I don't think a D3 could roll a 'natural 6', for example. Even though you're going to be using a die that almost certainly has a 6 on it, for functional purposes the die only reads as either a 1, 2 or 3. By that logic I'd say a roll of 1 or 2 on a D3 is a natural 1.

      page 93 tells you how to roll a d3. Roll a d6 and half the result.
      when rolling a d6 and you roll a 1 or a 2 its counts as a one.
      reading that i dont think there is anyway to argue that a roll of a 2 would count as a natural one.

      @@MountainMiniatures Hard disagree on that. Firstly, if rolling a 1 or a 2 counts as a 1, then a 2 is a natural 1. Secondly, rolling a D6 and halving it is just a fast and easy way of rilling a 3 sided dice.
      Otherwise your taking a dice with 3 outcomes on it and actually giving it 6.

      Think about what you are saying: A two is a Natural One.
      Does not makes sense. They added the word NATURAL .
      if it was ment to be a roll of one, they wouldnt have needed the word natural

      please re-read page 93 under Dice D3.

      @@MountainMiniatures I think that natural refers to modifiers, so a natural 1 is you rolling a D3 and getting a result of 1 (1 or 2 on a D6, or a 1-4 on a D12) before applying modifiers. Rolling a D6 and halving it is just a convenience but mechanically I think rolling a D3 should be the same even if you used a digital die. In any case it is a case of interpretation and a FAQ answer would be needed.
