Hey BEAT family, just wanted to stop in and share my thoughts and experiences on healthy and unhealthy churches. My heart is heavy for so many of you because my fear is that so many believers are attending unhealthy churches and I hope this video will show them some signs to look for in an unhealthy church. Enjoy and let me know what your church situation is right now in the comments below!
Born and raised in a hyper charismatic church. Heard and understood the Gospel for the 1st time somewhere else, then learned that there was a LOT more to God than what they taught. I came to actual faith in Christ and never looked back. Right there with you.
Born and raised in the same situation as you. NEVER EVER heard the plan of salvation till two men from another denomination came to my house on visitation night and led me and my wife to the Lord. I was 22 years old. Thanks brother and keep up the fight.
...***Greetings, Beloved of God. This message is lengthy but, it is very important. The ancient Israelites was tested by the Sabbath commandment to see if they would keep God’s law or no in Exodus 16:4- Do not be surprised if God allow man to do a similar test, enforce some type of Sabbath law to see if we will keep His law or no. ************************************************ Right now, we all do not see eye to eye, but, please hear me out.............. There is no way anyone can prove from the KJV Bible that Saturday, Sunday, etc. is the biblical seventh day Sabbaths. For, the words Saturday, Sunday, etc. do not appear in the Bible. A continuous Saturday, Sunday, etc., “man made Sabbaths” ARE NOT the true Bible Sabbaths because they are not calculated by true time. God’s true time is written in Genesis 1:14. When God commanded us to keep a seventh day Sabbath, kill the Passover on the 14th day of the first month, keep the day of atonement on the 10th day of the seventh month, etc......would He not have given us a calendar/Time to find these dates? Yes, He would have and He did, in Genesis 1:14. We are commanded to keep the days, years, etc. by the lights in heaven (the sun, moon and stars.) God did not specify which days, so, we must conclude that He meant for all of His 3 category of days to be kept by the lights in heaven. *********** The Sabbath command is one of the Ten Commandments listed in Exodus 20. It is just as important as the other nine and God commands us to keep it. Multitudes of people think and teach that we are only required to keep 9 of God’s Ten Commandments. My Friend, if we think this way, we are already deceived. ***The Sabbath is a feast. Leviticus 23:1-3 ***The moon is for seasons. Psalms 104:19 ***The lights in heaven are for seasons, etc. Genesis 1:14 ***The words “feast” and “season” comes from the same Hebrew word, MOED. ***MOED is, appointed times, appointments, feast, season, etc. The Sabbath is a MOED, an appointed time , a feast, a season, etc. Therefore, the moon, along with the other lights in heaven, are for Sabbaths. THE SABBATH IS TO BE CALCULATED BY THE TIME GOD ORDAINED IN THE BEGINNING OF CREATION NOT BY MAN’S TIME/CALENDARS. Who can prove from Genesis 1:14 that the Sabbath day is not calculated by the lights in heaven? Although many have tried, it cannot be refuted!! Take a glimpse at the dates in Genesis 7:11 and Genesis 8:4,13,14. Are these dates calculated by the Time God commanded in Genesis 1:14 or by the Gregorian time or some other man made time? ********** There are about 167 countries that keep Sunday as the seventh day and the remaining, approximately, 64 countries keep Saturday as the seventh day. If there is a “seventh day Sunday law” enforced and the remaining 64 countries change their calendars to read Sunday as the seventh day, then, the world will be keeping Sunday the seventh day as the Sabbath. Mon. Tue. Wed. Thur. Fri. Sat. Sunday Law 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7 What day will you and I then keep as the Sabbath? Already today, there are “Sunday Blue Laws” on government books. Man can change “their” time anytime and deceive the world under the leadership of Satan. We must calculate God’s Sabbath by God’s Time so The Great Deceiver can not trick us about the true Sabbath and “cause” us to worship him. “ He will think to change time and laws.” says Daniel 7:25 He only “THOUGHT” to change time when He “supposedly” had replaced God’s calendar with his calendar on earth. For he could not and has not truly change time because God’s Time sits in the heavens where no man can tamper with it! The sun, moon and stars, the lights in heaven, are God’s Time/Calendar. *********** God’s Calendar has three category of days, the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day. 2 Kings 4:18-23 & Ezekiel 46:1-3. The new moon day is the first day of the month, the beginning of months. These days never, ever, ever overlaps each other on God’s Time! ........However, this is not true on the famous Gregorian calendar. The new moon day falls anywhere and everywhere on that calendar, in a given month. For example, sometimes, the new moon day falls on a “man made Saturday Sabbath”, on a “man made Sunday Sabbath”, in the midst of the month, etc. How can it both be the first day of the month and the seventh day Sabbath? How can the first day of the month start in the midst of a month? God said in Genesis 1:14 to, let the lights in heaven be for days, etc. So, which one or ones of God’s three category of days are kept by the lights in heaven? ...The new moon day? ...The six work days? ...The Sabbath day? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Example of God’s months: 1st week... new moon day, six work days and Sabbath day 2nd, 3rd, 4th weeks....six work days and Sabbath day The next month the cycle starts over. God’s months reset. Read Luke 6:1 Man uses this same concept. For example: The 1st and 3rd Sunday in August, the 1st and 3rd Sunday in September.” “The 2nd and 4th Sabbath in April, the 2nd and 4th Sabbath in May.” Note: There is never, never, ever, ever, 5 weekly Sabbaths in any one of God’s months. This is not true on the Gregorian calendar. Sometimes, there are 5 weekly “Gregorian Sabbaths.” This is not in align with true time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I believe there is a great deception coming to get people to worship Satan through a false Calendar/Sabbath controversy. God is a God of truth. God guides people by His truth. God’s Word is truth. Truth is our shield and buckler. Truth will keep us from all deceptions, the mark of beast, etc. Christ did not suffer on the cross for us to walk in a lie and continue to cling to our traditions! He did not die for us to keep obeying the “voice of man” above “the voice of God!” Read the stories about “King Saul” in 1 Samuel 15 and the “man of God” in 1 king 13. Let us learn a lesson from these testimonies....Obey God’s Voice! When we do and teach man’s commandments for doctrine, it is vain! It is useless! God does not honor it! There will be no reward! Again! there is a great possibility some type of “Man made Sabbath Law” could be enforced. These latter days crises seems to be pointing in that direction. If this is not true, then, we do not have to worry about it......But..... ....If it is truth then, we need to become more knowledgeable about this subject in order to make the right decision whom we will honor and serve.
A Sabbath test will reveal those who believe Gods Word in Genesis 1:14 and those who do not believe His Word. Whether there is or whether there is not a “Sabbath Test”, we still need to know the truth about God’s Time written in the Word of God so we can be obedient in all things. ***Worship Him that made heaven, earth and sea. ***Babylon is fallen! Babylon is fallen! ***Do not worship the Beast and receive his mark, whosoever does, will be eternal lost and be burnt with fire and brimstones. ****Read Revelation 13 & 14 This truth about God’s Calendar/Time and The Sabbath written in Genesis 1:14, Leviticus 23:1-3, Psalms 104:19, etc.is spreading throughout the four corners of the earth. This message enrages many who claim to be followers of Christ because they can not refute it. It seems, the people outside the church buildings are the ones eagerly accepting it and believing it. Please let us consider what is being said here and further research this important subject before it is to late. Peace and Love Friends of God
Just came across you today. You sound very pragmatic in your reasoning and understanding of scripture. I'm 69 and have studied the Bible many years. It is so encouraging to see a young man speaking the truth without fear of those that are twisting God's Word. God bless and stay strong, my brother in Christ.

@@tomward-wilson5411 13Who among you is wise and intelligent? Let him by his good conduct show his [good] deeds with the gentleness and humility of true wisdom. 14But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not be arrogant, and [as a result] be in defiance of the truth. 15This [superficial] wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly (secular), natural (unspiritual), even demonic. 16For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder [unrest, rebellion] and every evil thing and morally degrading practice. 17But the wisdom from above is first pure [morally and spiritually undefiled], then peace-loving [courteous, considerate], gentle, reasonable [and willing to listen], full of compassion and good fruits. It is unwavering, without [self-righteous] hypocrisy [and self-serving guile]. 18And the seed whose fruit is righteousness (spiritual maturity) is sown in peace by those who make peace [by actively encouraging goodwill between individuals].
MANY PREACHERS/ CHURCHES ARE ACTUALLY BIBLE BASED PREACHING. THE PROBLEM IS, THEY DON'T PRACTICE WHAT THEY ARE TEACHING. AND SOMETIMES THEY TWIST THE CONCEPT OR MEANING JUST TO JUSTIFY THEIR PRACTICES OR DOINGS! AND SOMETIMES THE MEMBERS BECOME SO DEPENDENT WITH THE PREACHER & THEY DON'T READ THE BIBLE THEMSELVES & BECOME FANATIC OF THEIR PREACHER, NO LONGER PRAISING JESUS BUT THEIR LEADER OR PREACHER.
If only folks will start reading the Bible, they will have the spirit of discernment. Misuse of the gift of the Holy Spirit is one of the biggest issues you find in some charismatic churches.
Yep. Not only misuse of the gifts of the Holy Spirit but also the belief that you have a particular gift when you really don't. Demonic spirits can often disguise themselves as the Holy Spirit.
@@CS-dn8rd I agree. I attended a church like this a few times, and what struck me was the focus almost entirely being on titles (prophet, apostle, etc.) and gifts (tongues, laying on of hands, etc.) and music, music, music. During one sermon, a lady came and poured a bottle of olive oil down my back and ruined a favorite shirt. I didn't react and they seemed confused. I was ticked about that shirt after I got home, tho. ☹️😂
@@blackcatlady2172 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I bet you were teed off behind your shirt. They probably was trying to work their witchcraft on you pouring that oil down your back like that. The things they do and teach are NOT Scriptural!! Not one bit of it, from the pagan traditional celebrations and practices right down to the teachings. You present the Scriptures to refute the lies they are and have been taught, they call you the Devil instead of checking to see if what is being presented is actually true. I don’t even bother arguing with them. I offer the Scriptures to support the Bible truth. If they insist on holding on to the lie, that’s on them. They can’t say they weren’t told or warned🤷🏽♀️. 💎2 Thessalonians 2:10, 11
Many years ago when I was attending Times Square Church in New York, a man in the audience stood up and started speaking in tongues with no interpretation. The pastor, David Wilkerson, stood up from his seat on the stage and said, “Ushers, STOP THAT MAN!” He wasn’t going to let any unhealthy behavior to continue. I knew then that I was in the right church.
Then you must know the next part that you didnt say , is that tongues that are Given Out in a church congregation that does have interpretation, IS biblical. David wilkerson knew this very well and pastor david Spoke in tongues and Operated in many, if not all the gift of the spirit. and he had great discernment . If what you are saying is true, then pastor david discerned demonic or error in that isolated instance , but Pastor D would not Forbid tongues ( God given) which is scriptural . Pastor David Wilkerson believed the bible- gifts of the spirit for today and operated in them.
This pastor was a fool Matthew 18 on this church they hurt this child the man was speaking for and that pastor knew it was a cry for help or a private interpretation to that pastor. Matthew 18 for a child has been hurt please JESUS CHRIST JESUS
Yes!! One experience I had is when I went up for prayer. I had a woman put her hand forcefully on my head and tried to push me down. I resisted and she was like, "Fall down." As if she wanted me act like the Holy Spirit knocked me down. I just needed prayer for encouragement.
+Dione WHY then did GOD give teachers, pastor prophets and apostles to the CHURCH if we have NO need of them? There is NO room for independence in the CHURCH of CHRIST - we are body 'fitly joined together' with each having a specific ministry to contribute. Without each other and GODLY leadership the church is ripe for occultism and deception. "Most important take away is READ THE BIBLE for yourself and let the Holy Spirit teach you. Amen Brother. "
@@paulrobinson9318 Brother what are you talking about lol 😂. Did you watch the whole video brother in complete context? Brother Allen said he started to see what was happening in the Church Body didn’t line up with Scriptures and how he was young in his walk with The Lord and wasn’t aware of the things he described in the video. What did you watch lol 😂. No one said anything about not needing the 5 fold ministries given as a gift from Jesus 😊.
@Tom Servo what about the parts where Jesus says if you believe in him you are set free no matter race or country you are from if you read the Bible you would understand that the New testament is different from the old testament and the only people that had God's blessing and that God was for was the people of Israel from the old covenant but you wouldn't know that cuz you just want to say God is racist and he's a slave owner I'll pray for you
I’ve been to a church where a lady called me up and “prophesied” over me and then literally tried to push me to the floor to try to “slay me in the spirit”. I wouldn’t fall and she started pushing more aggressively. I ended up just going into prayer and asking God to reveal the falsehood that was taking place.
OMG THIS HAPPENED TO ME!!! Jesus! The pastor was trying to make me fall but I wouldn’t and he just got more aggressive! SMH the foolery is so real! 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
I went to a so-called holiness church. The so-called preacher called me up and started prophelying to me. He then laid his hands on my head and pushed back on my neck trying to slay me in the so-called spirit. The more he pushed the more I just walked backward. He pushed harder and all that happened was my neck was sprained. I didn't know better. I could have sued him for malpractice. I dont know if he's still preaching. I hope not!
This happened recently to me when a man was praying over me for deliverance. He was pushing his hand on the back of my neck. I had to tell him to stop.
Wow, I recently have left my church and all of these points were in my church. I didn’t even realise as a reborn Christian what I was getting involved in. I feel so at peace with that decision and truly know that The Holy Spirit saved me and led me away from getting hurt deeper from this church. Thank you for this! ❤️
Extremely relatable. I had a very similar journey with leaving a charismatic church after diving deeper into the Scriptures. I’m grateful for much of what I learned from charismatics in terms of intimacy with God, prayer, fasting, and worship. But many other things needed to be UNlearned after leaving. Grateful for your story brother. Hoping it helps many who are feeling on the fence about leaving their church.
@@ellengrieco1702 In theory or by definitiion, any church can be described as a "cult". In true Christian circles the definition of a cult is a church that teaches a distorted gospel which doesn't win souls to Christ nor salvation toward it's members. We tolerate small differences, among them, gifts of the Spirit, tongues, full immersion Baptism, etc., but we draw the line at outright heresies. Jesus did criticize leaders who made bigger issues of little details and ignored the more important ones. He also emphasized not to ignore the smaller ones either. Anyway, not trying to criticize your comment but just bringing to light just where that seemingly "thin line" is, separating the goats from the sheep. Might just be there are both in every church.
@@dvsninja2 I would say, growth in discernment. Pastors say things like this...I wish they would just stick to their job, and teach the word of God...all of it!
"5/30/11 From The Lord, Our God and Savior The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy For The Lord’s Little Flock, and For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear Thus says The Lord: I have bestowed many gifts upon this generation, and lo, the small of My flock have received knowledge and revelation beyond compare. Yet I ask you, who has truly received? Who has been humbled by My words and given thanks? Who among all these scattered flocks has taken joy in My gifts? Beloved, who among this great multitude seeks out My will, to know it? And who, among all these so-called believers, takes pleasure in My Law, saying, “I delight to do Your will, O God, for Your Law is written in my heart”?[1] Yet My people remain foolish, and this little flock envious. For I tell you the truth: Unrighteous jealousy is the companion of fools. For those who envy also grab hold of jealousy, walking hand in hand with covetousness. Beloved, there is but One who sees, One who knows, only One who searches the hearts and minds - I AM HE. How is it then that My people sit in judgment, judging My Word and My will, resisting My ways as they look upon others with contempt? Shall you also seek to ascend above The Most High?! Shall you sit upon My throne?! For I tell you the truth, each time you sit in judgment and question My ways, you walk in satan’s aspirations; you follow in his footsteps![2] And when I bless another, why do you not take joy in it? And when I correct you, why do you resist and question My ways? Am I not The Lord? Do I not give to each according to their faith, according to that which I see in their heart? Why do you in your arrogance set a line for Me to follow, or think within yourselves there must be a better way? And how is it you continually compare yourselves amongst yourselves, knowing this is unwise?[3] Beloved, I have prepared a place for you! Therefore offer up thanksgiving, and cease from your complaints. Forgive and bless, let go and obey, love one another and wash each other’s feet. Take joy in all I do, especially in that which I bestow upon another. And when I feed you, eat from your own plate and give thanks. Little flock, it is the last hour, yet many of you have stepped backward. Let it be known to you: One who treads the path, going up and down, stepping on and off at their convenience, treads not the path, but is like one who treads water. By no means shall they be able to keep their head above water, nor shall their strength deliver them in the Day of Troubles. Therefore heed My words, and also do them; Be wise in your dealings with Me, Humble yourselves and remember... Blessed are those who run to Me, For they shall be blessed in My presence; Even more blessed are those who run to Me, Then obey My Word, for their blessing Is complete and they are at peace... Deliverance they shall surely know... Says The Lord." www.thevolumesoftruth.com/Delight_in_the_Ways_of_The_Lord
Dude! That is exactly what happened to me. I have had problems finding a church that is spiritually mature for years but God allowed me to see the truth in his word, and im having to learn a lot of this stuff online and personal bible studies. Thanks for this video man.
@@dianaaiello588 more to the point, Costi Hinn is Benny Hinn's nephew. I lived in Toronto for a number of years, which is where the Hinn family had it's beginnings after migrating here from Israel. I am going to add a new word to your vocabulary. PHAWG; stands for Prosperity Health And Wealth Gospel. Furthermore, I have attended two healing meetings, fifteen years apart, in Montreal and Toronto respectively. I was not impressed.
This is the problem with the charismatic movement: there is an almost pagan emphasis on experience. When emotion takes control of you, your mind shuts down. The bible says the fruit of the spirit is self control, discernment. The law says love God with all your mind, not all your feelings. Your mind must rule over your feelings, not the other way arround.
I agree with you.Try to figure this one out.I once volunteered to be a catcher at a charasmatic church when the minister was laying hands.Where they told me to stand no person every came up to have hands laid on them so when the minister walked by me he didn't see anyone and went to the next person. The minister never saw me because I was standing a few feet back with other catchers. My knees buckled and I went down like a wet noodle.I laid there on the floor with the most awesome feeling of peace.Iam not an emotional man and have a very intimidating presence because of my size and look.I was just a construction worker who went to church with a young lady who asked me to go.God is good.
@@uncledodad I'm sure your experience was wonderful. However, there was nothing biblical about it. We don't ever see any of the apostles do this. This is a purely modern invention. More importantly, the important thing is not how this made you feel, the important thing is: Was Gods full council preached purely? Demons are just as capable of giving you a feeling of peace, in fact, most pagan religions often involve sensual experiences. The peace that God gives is not a fleeting feeling, it is to stand in the right relationship with Him through Christ.
@@Hannodb1961 I have belonged to charismatic churches where the emphasis was on the Word of God. Being slain in the spirit is not a modern invention. Look up the history of many revivals and you will see people falling out in the spirit. Ezekiel fell out when he saw a likeness of the glory of the Lord. John fell out when he saw the Lord when on the island of Patmos. Also, have you had an experience of peace from a demon? Doesn't Jesus say that a house divided against itself will not stand? Peace is a fruit of the spirit, not a fruit of the evil one. To call it sensual and dismiss it is to dismiss the fruit that Jesus brings. Further, discernment is not listed as a fruit of the spirit but rather a gift of the spirit and it is specifically a discernment of spirits. People often confuse it with wisdom but it is the ability to discern when something is demonic or out of line with scripture. And if I'm not mistaken the word says to love the Lord with all you heart, mind, and strength. God is an emotional being as well as mighty and infinite and we are made in His image. How can you worship with just your mind? The heart needs to be involved as well.
@@gwenwittaker5145 _I have belonged to charismatic churches where the emphasis was on the Word of God._ I can't help notice that you've placed that in the past tense. Why have you left? _Being slain in the spirit is not a modern invention. Look up the history of many revivals and you will see people falling out in the spirit. Ezekiel fell out when he saw a likeness of the glory of the Lord. John fell out when he saw the Lord when on the island of Patmos_ Uhm, is it really necessary to point out the enormous category error here? Ezekiel and John fell on the ground because they came face to face _with the Living God_ , not with a flashy preacher slapping them with his jacket. To even suggest those two things are the same borders on blasphemy. Show me where in Acts did the Apostles ever "slay people with the spirit", causing them to fall down. _Also, have you had an experience of peace from a demon?_ Have you never met a Buddhist? Their entire religion is about being at peace, but what does Paul say? Those who worship idols worship demons. Satan is the great liar, the one who "disguises himself as an angel of light". Are you seriously suggesting that Satan is unable to give people a false sense of peace? _Doesn't Jesus say that a house divided against itself will not stand?_ How is deception "dividing Satan against himself"? Deception is what the kingdom of Satan is build on. _Peace is a fruit of the spirit, not a fruit of the evil one._ Peace is not a feeling, it is a state of mind. Peace is something you have every moment of every day. Not only when some crazy self appointed cult leader hits you with his jacket. Peace is what you have even when the Romans throw you to the lions. _Further, discernment is not listed as a fruit of the spirit but rather a gift of the spirit_ And you think there is a difference, because..... In Romans 12:2, Paul _commands_ Christians to discern the will of God. This is something _all_ believers need to do. In Galathians 22-23, it says one of the things the Spirit produces is _self-control_ - which is the exact opposite of what happens when people "get slain by the spirit". _and it is specifically a discernment of spirits_ No, it is a discernment of the will of God. Yes, we must discern between spirits, but we must discern first and foremost between right and wrong. _People often confuse it with wisdom but it is the ability to discern when something is demonic or out of line with scripture._ Like when pagan practices of sensualism and mysticism enters the church at the expense of sound rational exegesis of God's Word? _And if I'm not mistaken the word says to love the Lord with all you heart, mind, and strength_ Actually, in the ancient Hebrew understanding, the heart was the seat of your thoughts. The kidneys were thought of as the seat of your emotions. The idea of the heart being the seat of your emotions is a modern, western construct, not an ancient Hebrew one. And you'll notice that kidneys was not listed there. Likewise, we are commended to have self control. That means, we are controlled by our minds, not our feeling. Also, when you page over to 1 Cor 13, you'll find the Biblical definition of love. Warm and fuzzy feelings - though a product of love - is not definitional of love. Love is a verb, not a feeling. I can assure you, Jesus felt no warm and fuzzy feelings on the cross as he cried out: "My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?" _How can you worship with just your mind? The heart needs to be involved as well _ I never said we should worship him without feelings. But those feelings must brought under control. It must flow from sound theology, and it must never take control of us. Ofcause I feel joy when I sing the Psalms, but its not a mindless joy, it is a joy that flows from the contemplation of the depth of the lyrics in the Psalms. It is joy rooted in knowledge. And even though I feel joy, I never loose control of my body and falls to the ground. Nowhere in the New Testament do you ever see this happen in the ministry of the apostles.
Wow wow wow! I literally JUST mailed a letter a couple of weeks ago to my Pastor to withdraw my membership from a church that is SO similar to what you described. Thank you for this video. A friend invited me to her church for a revival. While the congregation was actively in worship, all these people began to speak in tongues. They then started to push people who began to fall, and I became super skeptic. I guess my face showed my skepticism as my friend asked me if I was afraid, and all I could tell her was that I wasn't use to this type of behavior. Needless to say, I left before the preaching even began and my heart told me it was a circus not a revival. Spiritual discernment is truly a gift and I thank the Lord everyday for this, because too many Christians fall for these charismatic churches and fail miserably at reading the Bible to gain spiritual discernment. Be blessed, brother and thank you.

Sunday worshippers will always be church hopping. These denominations are not in line with God's commandments. Therefore, only evil spirits, (in the form of speaking tongues) pastors and Prophets that are in these places.
@@bassman8564 hey man read Romans 14 Sunday worship would be wrong if a person were worshipping a day but meeting on the first day of the week to worship the one true God is awesome. Sunday aka '1st day' is seen as the most special day of the week to gather together in communal worship, for me it's so and for you it's obviously not, but as stated already Read Romans 14 Christians are free to worship all week long and they are also free to consider Sunday to be an extra special day to gather to worship. Other believers consider Saturday to be the best day to gather like many Israeli believers do. Anyway your statement that Sunday worshippers hop around churches holds no weight..some may of course, but I guess with cults who see Sunday worshippers as evil it's less hoping around as they'd be a lot less local likedoctrined congregations to choose from. I hope you manage to read Romans 14 and Colossians for your self.
@@aldandrea hey, the problem with all Sunday worshippers, they misunderstand Paul's writings to their own destruction. (2 Peter 3:15-16) Turning them into another gospel. (Mark 7:7-9) The Father said he sanctified, made HOLY the Seventh-day unto himself.(Ex 16:22) NOT EVERYDAY. Is Romans 14 saying you CAN esteem any day OVER the DAY the FATHER has given us? God forbid. For the 4th commandment of SIN would have no effect. Which says Remember to keep MY DAY HOLY. (Is 58:13) If God has chosen A day unto himself for worship and MADE it a LAW, why do you keep another, committing a SIN in the process? (1 John 3:4) You guys have spin, twisted Paul's writings to be contrary to the words of the Father and the Son. Worthy to be avoided. (Rom 16:17) To the point where you refuse to keep HIS DAY and eat UNCLEAN foods. A recipe for earthly and heavenly destruction of your body and soul. As if all that the Father has put in place for the goodness of mankind, is now changed. FAR FROM IT. Because the Father said; "I change NOT." (Mal 3:6) Sunday, 1st first day of the week, is seen by the many Christ speaks of, to be entering the wide gate on to the Broad Road to destruction. (Matt 7:13) But only a few, obeying God's commands, will find the straight and narrow path unto life. (vs 14) The weight on Sunday church hoppers, is very heavy. From this forum to personal experience. I've seen many on this path. Being restless, trying to find a home in Christ. For every time they get comfortable in one, the Father exposes them in their FALSEHOOD. Not realising that staying in your Dwellings away from these places, on the GIVEN day by the Father, is the key to finding God's truth, reading the scriptures. (Lev 23:3) Which would keep you away from lying pastors and false prophets. Subsequently marking yourself to the MOST HIGH. (Ez 20:20) But the thing about this controversy, there is NO scripture that has changed the HOLY DAY from the 7th to the 1st. ONLY history will show this to be by the RCC. And if you fail to acknowledge this, then your mind is seared as if with a hot iron with FALSE doctrines. (1 Tim 4:1-2) And your soul will be lost as a result. But the conclusion to this WHOLE matter, is to "fear God and keep His commandments: for THIS is the WHOLE DUTY of MAN." (Ecc 12:13) I pray you have ears to hear and Eyes to see the deception that you are a part of. Peace.
@@bassman8564 wow that was a reply that must have taken time to put together! For keeping Shabbath' for salvation you would have to keep the whole old testament law and I just don't think Bassman that you are keeping the whole old testament law as for one and you can't as there is no Jewish temple performing all the required sacrifices. Even if there were a temple no one can be saved by keeping the law. Romans 3:20 and Galatians 3:11! Also if keeping the Jewish 'Shabbath' were a requirement for salvation then the NT would be extremely clear about it. Instead rather we have Romans 14 and Colossians 2:16 for starters! AL.
These kinds of videos are the toughest to make but so highly important to make. Thank you Brother Allen for speaking about this. There is so much false teaching going on in the world and I'm thankful to GOD you had the courage to get away and speak about it. Blessings in Christ. 🙏🏻🕊💗
@@petert9660 oh wow he’s Pentecostal? I grew up Pentecostal but honestly don’t consider myself anymore because I’ve seen the same things and felt the same pressures he’s felt to have these gifts. The whole shaking and tapping of my head or pushing. It’s horrible.
I'm still cringing up to this day whenever I remember the times I "forced" myself to be "spiritual," i.e. forcing myself to get lost in speaking of tongues. I'm just thankful that God opened my eyes.
I get it. As a teen I went to church religiously and attended plenty conventions. I wanted so badly for god to use me! I just wanted to be at least half of the women my mother is. I couldn't bring myself to fake it. If I thought I could pull it off i probably would have. However it felt me feeling like something was wrong with me. I couldn't understand it because I was the model adolescent but I thought maybe I was defective. Still do sometimes...
If all of these things are going on in churches and all these people are reporting basically the same things they have experienced and are experiencing, It says a lot about these churches. These are signs that folks need to get out of them…Get out of Babylon…Get out of her before it is too late.
The Benny Hinn reference took me out!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 but I totally agree with this video! I've experience a few of these especially the speaking in tounges one.
Benny Hinn's daughter and his son in law run Jesus School. Another money maker. 💰 Benny Hinns nephew, Costi, apparently repented and is a pastor at a church in Arizona. But I'm afraid that I don't trust him and all of these people have many followers.
@@mariawilliams9534 I never said anything was wrong with it. Im saying I agree with what he said about it. From my experience in church ppl make it seem like you are more spiritual when you do. You can speak in tounges and still be full of hate or struggle with sin. It is a gift. Some pll have it and some don't. It is important to have an interpreter.
I'm just saying that cause there are some churches that don't allow speaking in tongues the only thing I can say about this video is that we have to get discernment from God the only one we should look up to is God not man and folks get understanding if your church does anyone of these things this brother is mentioning flee from them get out among people like that God bless you all
Me too! Finally got out and ended up in a church that is now a Word of Faith church. Once I married my husband, he got me away from it all. We went to a little country church for several years and now an independent Baptist church. Even though I grew up in church, I didn’t begin growing spiritually until I entered my 20s. Praise the Lord for guiding me out of that stuff.
If something doesn't feel genuine , then it's ur instinct warning u to stay away....nothing should ever be forced...God is about trust , faith and love , that's the type of feeling a real holy church should feel like in my opinion....
Same, I feel like a church should feel like a home, almost like your tribe that you’ve been separated from but you found again if you know what I mean. My old church didn’t really feel that way which is why I stopped going. And some people although they may genuinely feel as though God is working through them or something some people just cannot be trusted. If I feel kind of weirded out by somebody or have doubts I kind of take that as a warning to not believe everything they say right away
You just confirmed EVERY SINGLE THING I was feeling about a particular church. Reading the word of God is what solidified to me that what they were doing wasn't right.
In my previous church my pastor told me that I was not allowed to read the Bible at home with close friends because it was too dangerous without a church leader!! I was not allowed to pray with them either. He said that all teaching and “prayer meetings” had to be in the church. I eventually confronted my pastor. I share what happened - in a new series which I have just created. If you are interested you can see this on Lion of Fire Ministries 🦁🔥 Bless you, Matt
You sir are a gem! Being a minister myself, I have cried this cry for a long time (years)... Some many people misled... Most of them so confident inand even proud about their "Spiritual Authorities" that they wouldn't even believe it if you showed them clearly in scriptures
I do believe in the gift of tongues, my husband speaks in tongues, but my mother-in-law believes that you’re not saved unless you speak in tongues. I sought this gift for many years under lots of pressure, but then God showed me that I was just seeking it to get her approval and acceptance. God really did set me free from the pressure and feeling that I wasn’t enough without this gift, and that I am accepted because Jesus’ blood covers me and my righteousness is in Him.
I was baptized 6 years again and my pastor tried forcing me to speak in tounges I refused to fake it after a year of being pressured to speak in tounges I left I would sit by myself with my kids no one really shook my hand nor made me feel welcomed after 3 years it was pretty sad when I would sit back and actually watch how a church I once loved actually treated people I would watch the pastor wink his eye at certain people all of a sudden they would bust out speaking tounges well I should say fake tounges my husband said he received the holy ghost as a child and spoke in tounges at home praying with his mom in the kitchen he said no one can tell you oh you have the holy ghost oh yes they're speaking in tounges he said when it actually happens to you it's a feeling you never felt before and you just don't snap out of it !
Me too , hilarious 😂 Altho not really , as it really is a mockery of the holy spirit , but funny to us who are mocking those who mock the holy spirit. Hope that made sense 🙏
It can be tough to find a church community that has the right focus and priorities, but it's so incredibly important for us to be connected in community. "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." Hebrew 10:24-25
So true, brother. I am sad to say that I have not been in church physically for a year. And I was serving on the worship team in production booth. I just have unanswered questions.
That's my dilemma now. But in the meantime, my family and I from different places in a different city gather on the phone in a big conference call to discuss a passage relevant to what's currently going on in life. Then we pray. I thank God I can do that now. I've actually gotten so much stronger than just sitting listening to one pastor. Each family member has an opportunity to share what's on their heart if they choose to.
@Julian Ruth Brother Julian just to let you know that I came home 20 years ago and still steadfast in THE WORD. See THE ALMIGHTY GOD is trying to bring HIS CHURCH back to the norm .When you read the books to the churches you will notice it will end by saying (church in the house of ) these buildings started with Constitute and were never ment for the Gentiles but for the Jews as you notice the brother read out of Hebrews. O brother study yourself approved read and keep on reading your Bible. !!!
Obedience to the Holy Spitir INCLUDES our emotions. It's ungodly to ignore the personality that God gave us. The WHOLE man is sanctified, not divided. The concept of ignoring the emotions is ungodly.
+@@lesley1876 NO ONE is claiming that we RELY on their emotions - BUT if you have food you cannot taste - you can swallow poison as well as nutrients - same with your emotions. Religion you CANNOT feel is like FOOD you CANNOT taste. BUT are we to IGNORE them? GOD gave US emotions to reflect HIS emotions and honor and rejoice with Him - ignoring our emotions is sin. The breakdowns and distance of those that ignore their emotions is deadly both PHYSICALLY and SPIRITUALLY. I was raised by such a Father. " if we are relying ( note key word relying) on our emotions then we cannot please God. Search the scriptures my friend." Try reading the SCRIPTURES WITHOUT coming across verse after verse about EMOTIONS. YOU cannot ignore that GOD made us emotional beings - Isaiah 66 even attributed emotion to TREES, in God's Presence. Emotions are a GIFT from GOD, that is to be treasured - NOT ignored.
@@paulrobinson9318 so you have only misinterpreted my comment to suit what you wished to interpret. You could have asked me to elaborate. I merely made that comment in direct response to the speakers message.
As an eight year old Baptist kid, I went to every VBS in town, just like all the other Protestant kids. The Pentecostal church VBS was the best, hands down! On Saturday night, families came to a short service followed by our "graduation." My sixteen-year-old brother had taken me. Shortly after the sermon began, a chunky teenager fell down in the aisle and it looked like he was having a seizure; people started shouting, blabbering and waving their arms. This threw me into sensory overload and I ran to the car! Moments later, my brother caught up with me. We sat in the car, both shaken, and he thanked me for running off, giving him a valid reason for running out of there too!
The gifts ONLY come from serving God and getting closer to Him. Do you think God is going to give gifts to those who don't submit to His will. You grow in God, it's like a spiritual education. He emparts more gifts the more He can trust you with them as well.
Speaking in tongues isn’t to “show” anything. Speaking in tongues edifies a Christian because you’re speaking to God in a language that is personal and coming directly from your spirit, praying his will rather than your own. “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.” 1 Corinthians 14:2 KJV
A charismatic pastor was praying for my mother expecting her to fall. However, my mother didn't fall so that pastor told my mother "if you don't want to receive the blessing, don't receive it." Horrible ! Thank you brother for your video exposing the lies that are happenning in charismatic churches.
We met a lad who was asking questions one night as we spoke about Holy Spirit etc. And when he said something i pointed at him and said but you fell!!? He said no he faked it. We shook our heads and told him you missing the point. Its not about falling at all. 😂
Exactly, in college it was taught as being "spiritual abuse." Sadly 80% of Christians have experienced some form of this type of abuse. But help and truth is coming.
After my mom passed away, I started going to her church because that said I needed to be “saved” to see my mother again. I had the traditional baptism (submersion in water), went to service several times a week, etc. When I wanted to join officially, I was separated because I didn’t speak in tongues, was taken to upper room to “tarry” for the holy ghost. When I became overwhelmed with thoughts of my mom, and didn’t catch the Holy Ghost, the women whipped out a bible and told me it says here it’s a gift, you don’t want it ( as I was not tarrying enough). I left that day and did not join another church until I was much older. I realized it is about a personal relationship and not “man”.
That’s terrible. What a horrible ordeal for you. The scriptures are clear that not everyone gets the same gift and the Holy Spirit decides when people are ready. I’m glad you overcame this and returned to the faith. The Lord bless you.
When I was a chaplain in a local plant decades ago, I knew many sweet, sincere, saintly Pentecostals who felt like they were lacking in faith because they did not speak in tongues. We weren't supposed to mess with anybody's doctrine, but I so wanted to tell them that their doctrine is wrong- tongues is a gift and the Holy Spirit chooses who to give which gift to for God's purposes of ministry.
PERSONAL TESTIMONY: My own personal experience in the charismatic movement - with Benny Hinn ministry in Orlando Florida. I had been invited to a Benny Hinn meeting. In this meeting the congregation were singing “Jesus, Jesus there's just something about his name.” As I was mimicking the congregation with my hands up, a very dark and powerful force hit me, and literally threw me to the ground. As I was rolling back and forth on the floor, I was repeatedly screaming - “get it out!” The ushers came and carried me out. I vaguely remember rolling back and forth, in the hallway. The ushers proceeded to carry my body into a back room and to cast out demons. At least that was what I had thought at the time. Since then, I have come to understand they were not casting out demons at all - they were imparting them! After this I can’t remember anything as I must have blacked out. Everything was kind of a blur. When I got home and was getting ready for bed, I came into the bathroom. Before turning on the light I could see strange shimmering colours and a cloudy mist in the mirror, drawing me in to come closer. I continued to stare at this site for some time. I then tried to close my eyes, but it was still there. As I was drifting off to sleep lying in bed, just before dozing off, I saw a black cat with a glowing ball around its neck. It sneakily began to walk up from the foot of the bed. I was paralysed with shock and fear. As soon as it realised I could see it, it began to crouch down, so as to not be seen. I tried to outsmart it by acting like I was going to sleep. It then began to come up to my chest. At this point I grabbed my covers and threw it up in the air and cried out loud “in the name of Jesus!” It just vanished into thin air! I never returned to another Benny Hinn meeting. I remember off and on having thoughts that I needed to start wearing white suits like Benny Hinn (thank God I never acted on this). It was not until sometime later when attending Bible school in Portland Maine, that I received deliverance from this dark, rebellious, antichrist spirit. Thank God for a true deliverance ministry, anointed ministers, and the blood of Jesus Christ. Prior to deliverance I would experience a stubbornness when God’s word was being spoken, and found it difficult to submit to spiritual authority. “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” (Hebrews 13:17) Fast forward several years, after leaving Bible school, when I was attending an Assembly of God in New Hampshire. There I noticed that a very charismatic assistant pastor was getting a lot of attention from the women in the congregation. I observed every Sunday that the people were offering gifts, cakes, pies, and I suppose, even money. One Sunday morning as this assistant pastor was teaching Sunday school, a spiritual wrestling match ensued. As this wrestling match continued, I did not know whether I was in my body or out of my body (the Lord knows). As we were wrestling, I noticed the congregation were not aware that this struggle was taking place. It was then that I realised that this was not a physical altercation. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12) The following Sunday, for some odd reason, my car wouldn’t start. The assistant pastor subsequently offered to give me a ride home. As we drove down the road, he tells me he used to be Benny Hinn’s chauffeur. At some point during the ride, he offered to give me some money. Being naïve, I gladly accepted, only to learn later it was a trick of Satan. Satan uses a physical medium to work through. This money became a portal of some sort, and that evening as I laid down to sleep, the hordes of Hell came to try and scare me. As I lay there dozing off, in the spirit I could feel and see the hordes coming for me. I now believe that Satan was trying to intimidate me, to stop me from exposing his divisive and destructive work. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” (1 Peter 5:8) I immediately cried out “the blood of Jesus!” and they suddenly retreated. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7) I learned later it was the Spirit fighting through me. Praise the Lord for the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)” (2 Corinthians 10:3-4) Fast forward five years, I was led to give the Senior Pastor a call and see how things were going. He informed me that the Assistant Pastor (the one I had wrestled with) had split his congregation and took half of them down the road, to start another ministry. At the time I thought “oh no!”. But as time passed the Lord revealed to me that this was his will and his judgment on this congregation. “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” (1 Peter 4:17) “He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” (Matthew 13:28-30) In conclusion Those that this Assistant Pastor took with him, were not interested in the Word of God, they wanted the false prosperity gospel.
Dr Charles Stanley is one of my favorite teachers. He doesnt shout or scream and Doesn't take up most of the time singing. He teaches for like a full hour. And uses a lot of Scripture
@@Kelly_Silverman yes we need more like him hes so soft spoken and gentle and teaches very well. Jesus preached like that I believe. I can't imagine jesus shouting and screaming to teach. He told the truth with love and confidence
I remember being almost shoved when people prayed for me. Everyone was laying out on the floor except me, and I probably looked like the only one not being submissive to the lord. I remember being pushed and taking a step back to steady myself and people thought I was "resisting the spirit". I've never been "slain in the spirit", and while i won't say definitively that God doesn't do that, it hasn't been my experience at all. Never felt once that I would fall out.
I was being prayed for and the person next to me fell on his knees but because i didnt I was told i was resisting the spirit. Why would we want to resist ? It's crazy! Believe me if the spirit took a hold of us no amount of resisting will prevent you from falling.
It should not be forced and we shoot all be exploration be exact where someone else it. Their seem to be a lot of pressure for hyper conformity. God has His plan for each of us. What is the right place for you can be completely different for another person. Maybe people need more information, prayer, and time. It seemsike this hyperconformity may be a reason why so many churches sit and/ or have denominations. We donate to be too much alike...we can have a different opinion on certain things...ect.
I've been slain in the spirit it was the best feeling in the world and I wasn't pushed down I wad prayed for and he snapped his finger and down I go di dnt hurt myself I was so drunk in the spirit I couldn't get up when I did get up I had to be helped to my seat and I was that way a whole day. And no I do not drink I never have and I don't think I wil.
This sounds like my story. I was raised in the United Pentecostal Church. I finally left and started searching the scriptures as well. I've been out of it for 25 years and still battle from the spiritual abuse I went through. I was shunned also when I left. There's a lot I could say, but I won't. I'm just so thankful that I've been delivered from that and that God revealed what Grace is through His Word.
What church did you end up going to afterwords? Just curious. I’m in Pentecostal “apostolic” from My mom but I get mad when she tells me I don’t have the Holy Ghost from being baptized until I speak in tongues.
GOD bless you! It was a scary thing for me leaving the U.P.C. as they taught us that if we left that GOD would cut us off from his spirit and we'd be "turned over to a reprabate mind, was forever lost , would burn in hell forever and that there was no hope for us to ever know GOD again." But, i left when I was 18 ! So I lived the next 10 years BELIEVING everything that they taught us ! So I believed i was hopeless for about the next 10 years. During the end of that time i had sank into a dark, major clinical depression. To make a long story short, that major depression was the beginning of my healing and GOD REVEALED HIMSRLF TO ME IN SUCH A WAY THAT I'LL NEVER DOUBT THAT HE KNOWS ME, THAT HE'S MY LOVING FATHER AND THAT JESUS DID FOR ME ON THE CROSS WHAT I HAD SPENT MY LIFE TRYING TO DO BUT ALWAYS FAILED AT... WHICH WAS TRYING TO EARN HIS LOVE BY BEING "GOOD"! I am so thankful for his grace and all the chains/bonds that have been broken so now I can walk in the freedom of his LOVE! GOD BLESS YOU FOR SHARING!
I was in the UPC from around 8 yrs old to 21-22 ish. It is... I am still dealing with some of the spiritual repercussions of it. So much false doctrine, so much man-made rules and the worst part of it is even if you show them in the Word that what they believe is wrong, they will STILL not believe and continue to hold fast to their beliefs. They cannot be wrong about anything and if you don't agree with them, its YOU who needs to pray and ask God for more understanding. It's very cult like and hard to adequately explain to those who have not been through it. Thank God my fire for Him never died and He has brought me into a deeper, truer understanding of Him and His Word.
@@matrixbeastreloaded Acts 5:32b reads, ...and so also is the Holy Ghost, Whom God has given to them that obey Him. Obey God and you have the Holy Spirit. I was at a church where a brother in Christ was literally thrown out of the church for not bringing the tithes, the assistant pastor from the pulpit called him out called him a crook and told him to leave cause he didn’t bring the tithe I got up with my wife and left that church which was very much charismatic they spoke in tongues and operated in the prophetic but didn’t have love for the souls .
No one is debating tithing you give freely and voluntarily what God puts in your heart it’s the lack of love which the Bible states we are nothing without love. “If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! But when the time of perfection comes, these partial things will become useless. When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. Three things will last forever-faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 NLT www.bible.com/116/1co.13.1-13.nl

@Desire Of All Nations , Theologians states that there are 613 Old Testament Laws. Why not follow all of them? Why is tithing special? If you are bond to follow one tenent of the Law, you are a debtor to keep the whole Law. Read Galatians chapter 5.
Oh my goodness I went through similar experiences when I was a baby Christian and couldn't understand why I'm not falling over or speaking in tongues. Love the Benny Hinn part lol!!! Studying the Bible is key!!!
@@thestoryofrose Beautiful discernment, this guy has been all over RUclips Christian channels in comments with the same bogus story. Probably a conman.

Just bumped into a church me and my bf was uncertain with . We just could not pin point why we feel unsettled . I’m thankful to see this video cause we can relate and now we can move on peacefully.
Go to a church that actually teaches the Word. I go to a church where we go verse by verse in one book until we are done. It is spiritually sound as well. It’s almost similar to Baptist church.
@@1saamor897I go to a similar church as well. Sometimes they do a topic first thing, like Evangelism etc, but usually it's going through an entire book, so we have to read everything and aren't picking and choosing stuff to support a prechosen theme... You read everything, even the hard parts that might cause controversy.
Right on, Allen! NEVER fall down to appease a pastor, no matter HOW PO'd he gets when you don't fall down! If God wants you down on the floor, it would be NOTHING for HIM to put you there! I say this from experience: I fell down to meet the expectations of a pastor and I was badly injured. My sin was that I chose to appease an insecure pastor, rather than follow God despite what that pastor thought about me/wanted me to do. Don't follow peer pressure to fall down to appease the pastor!!! It's not YOUR job to keep HIM happy or to make him feel important!
I didn’t have a church home and started following a RUclips “prophetess” named Deanna Dixon. I thought she was sharing the word until she started having “How to Process your Prophetic gifts” classes. I knew then she wasn’t being led by God. Plus the Holy Spirit was opening my eyes to the foolishness. I’m still looking for a Bible based church home.
Yes, I stay away from any prophet or prophetess. If they do not open a Bible or read from it, they are working from their own humanity and not from God.
May I also suggest that you continue to foster a personal and intimate relationship with God. I went through this as well and almost got caught in this Christian psychic movement (let's call a thing a thing lol). I have developed such a deep connection with the body of Christ that I turn off my phone. Strengthen your personal relationship sis. God should be an everyday event not just on the Sabbath or Sundays. Churches may fail you or forsake you but God will not.
I went to a church once and some leaders laid hands on me practically forcing me to be slain in the spirit. All that yelling, spittle, and bad breath. Chile I just fell out so I could breathe. True story.
I really enjoyed and was blessed hearing your testimony. I am 68 years old and experienced the same situation. My testimony is identical in that by reading my Bible i ask God to show me the truth and he did. I pray that God continue blessing you in his word. Thank you!
Thank you for this! Can you please do a video on how to recover from being exposed to a church like this? Basically, how to heal from church hurt. Very few people are even talking about church toxicity, so there really aren't many resources on how to move on once you've left such an environment. Thank you!
Hi. At the risk of sounding like a smarty pants, I'll say the best way to heal is by asking Jesus to heal you and to use that time with him to build your faith and relationship. It was church folks who put Jesus on the cross. The short answer to the toxicity problem is that churches act this way because all humans are born mentally insane and without the real Holy Spirit, they cannot be transformed in their minds, but I'll let Jesus bring you to that understanding. Take Care and God Bless you.

THANK YOU! I had a similar experience in 1972 when I entered a Bible College during the Jesus Movement. A good friend offered to teach me how to speak in Tongues. It was new to me & him. I responded in appreciation for his offer, but asked him why, if the Holy Spirit is the source of Gifts, why would any human need to be taught. He paused and said, "Good question." All Gifts are for Kingdom growth, not our selfish validation. Blessings and thank you, Brother Parr.
@@Baker4life777 For example I asked why they prayed in tongues loudly with no one to interpret. Or They would be people going to get loans to bring "Seed" to the house of God. And also the "Curses that followed you even after you are born again" - It didn't quite line-up with Scripture. I can't claim I know the Bible very well, but what I do is whenever anyone quotes a Bible verse, I go back home and study the whole chapter or the whole book so that I can understand the context for myself. I ended up buying a Bible Concordance and also subscribe to Bible commentaries. I stopped going to Church completely for 5 years just to get my mind cleared
@@Baker4life777 What happened eventually for me to be kicked out was they framed me saying I had an affair and sleeping with one brother like that and therefore I was not fit to be a part of the Choir or even be a part of their Church. The real reason is I challenged their doctrines which from understanding were just serving the purpose of those who were gaining from them financially.
@@deladyM I had a similar thing. Some people were spiritually competing. One spoke in tongues, the other did louder. One brought the color streams and danced, the other came back next week with longer more sparkling streams, one didn't show up the next week, the other started copying the gibberish tongues the other used last week etc. Bizarre
I can relate with you, I was in a church like that for 5 years in my country. In 2021 October I had the courage to leave that church... but it took a lot from me, it drained me emotionally and mentally. Here I am still trying to recover. I thank God you were brave enough to walk away. Be blessed.
Our old church kept telling my mom that God told them that she shouldnt be with my dad because it was doomed to fail. They are still be together after 36 years
Took me 5 years to detach, detox and finally leave the Pentecostal/Charismatic movement. I was an ordained Pentecostal minister for over 22 years and the Lord delivered me. So thankful. I totally understand how you got hooked into the hyper Charismatic Church, as I did to (Toronto Blessing movement - Catch The Fire). Blessings to you and your family.
Awesome. I got caught up in that crap too. God opened my eyes to rightly dividing the scriptures. It made my understanding grow by leaps and bounds. 2 Tim. 2:15 Figures a secret kept from the princes of evil fooled them into crucifying the Lord of glory. Now they are keeping secret the gospel for today. Romans 16 [24] The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. [25] Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel [the gospel given by Christ to Paul alone to give to us], and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
@@LS-mc2rv God still does miracles. Spiritual gifts are not a part of the dispensation of grace. When the apostles had the gifts it was for the purpose of winning over an unbelieving Israel. They were proof of the Messiah being God in the flesh, their King and Redeemer. The frauds today do not heal cancer, restore limbs that did not work since birth or blind since birth. When Jesus healed He healed 100% and 100% of the time. Study Paul's epistles. He could heal at first but then after showing he was from God, the miracles being proof stopped. He left ppl who were to go with him on mission work behind because of sickness and he has problems with his eyes the Lord would not heal. But God still does on occasion do miracles that I have witnessed.
@@tims.449Well I’ve never heard of put quite that way. I do not believe spiritual gifts have ceased all together. I just believe that most people today don’t really have them when they say they do. I have relatives that have seen miracles in other countries. I was in an AOG church back in the day. Blessed people and no goofy stuff. If you were into most of the television preachers that are claiming to be miracle workers I can understand why are you headed for the hills. Word of faith movement tragic
@@LS-mc2rv lol headed for the hills? I was going for what is true. As Ecclesiastes say there is a time for everything. We are in an age of grace which is a miracle in its self. What do you think the reason would be for God giving ppl the gift of healing?
I can resonate with this. I went to a charismatic church also and it was so traumatic. I left when I was 19. And the trauma was so real that I didn’t start going to church until last year at 31 years. I always believed in Jesus, and God 100% during my time away from church. I was just really resentful towards church because of it. Now I understand that we are the church. Now I read the Bible with my new church and it is so amazing. I feel peace and I’m really happy. I feel loved and supported and it is sound doctrine.
A lot of the problem is people started reading bible. Yet dont understand what they read .Roman's 10:14_17 how can you hear without a Preacher. Some are hard headed and self righteous.
Excellent, my brother, you are 'spot on'. I attended a church where the head Pastor told us to take up the offering AFTER the song service when the people are very emotionally charged so that they will give a lot of money into the offering!
God open my eyes after crying out to him, "why can't I speak in tongues ?." I was born in 1951,God saved me September 29, 1979, but I was made to feel I wasn't saved because I did'nt speak in tongues. Though the Lord knows the countless times I went to Alter calls hoping it would be the moment I had been praying for. I was ashamed to take communion and when everybody went in the back room of the church to wash each other's feet, I was the only one sitting in the church by myself. It was so embarassing that I stopped going whenever they had communion. The most hurting thing happen one Sunday after service, I went to the pulpit to ask the pastor a question about her sermon, She immediately said, "Get down from here, this is Holy ground." I dressed modestly but because I wore earings and a cross, I was considered worldly. And because I did'nt follow their strict rules, I was considered rebellious. I started praying and asking God to teach me HIS truth and not man's. I begin to understand a lot of things that weren't biblical and most of all, He showed me in his word where I was saved, and had been for years. Nothing I did saved me,wearing long dresses, jewelry, pants,or going to church twice on Sundays. He taught me that the day I accepted Jesus as my savior, I was his child. Haven't been back to that church.
The Lord must be fed up with these self righteous pretend ministers and pastors. I used to ask myself if THEY EVEN READ THE BIBLE . I HAVE SO MANY TESTIMONIES ON TERRIBLE EXPERIENCES WITH SOME CHURCH'S. WHOA! ITS NOT GOOD FOR THEM. Believe me if you ever met me you wouldn't even think I'm close to Jesus but I have many many gifts and I have heard JESUS SPEAK TO ME. Jesus can speak on the inside and the outside. He ONLY speaks if it it very very important! Well that's been my real experience. Any time I hear a pastor or minister say God told me this or that...I have a hard time believing it because that has not been my experience. Maybe its different for some but there are a ton of false teachers and prophets. Believe me if you gave your WHOLE MIND BODY SOUL SPIRIT, ORGANS VESSELS FROM THE TOP OF YOUR HEAD TO THE TIPS OF YOUR TOES TO JESUS...YOU ARE SAVED. DONT WORRY ABOUT TONGUES I HAVE THE GIFT BUT I HEARD FROM JESUS WHEN I DIDNT HAVE THE GIFT ALSO. FRET OVER NOTHING. JESUS HAS YOU! Have a blessed life child of God!
Look at the 2nd chapter if Acts The disciples spoke in KNOWN languages so those in attendance from other nations could HEAR THE GOSPEL ! Now we have the completed Scriptures to reach the world!
The biggest red flag was that the woman refered herself as a Pastor. God has a divine order for man, and a a divine order for women. The headship is not for a woman. And I say that with much love. We as sinful beings can twist and pervert our ministry. The bible should always be our source and foundation. Every single word is true and good for reproof of course with the guide of the Holy Spirit.
I left a Pentecostal Baptist church five years ago. I was a member there for nineteen years. I left for some of the same reasons too. I'm now going to a small Christ centered church where I'm happy. The Holy Spirit opened up my eyes to the same things as well.
Man, I'm living almost everything you did! God opened my eyes during the lockdown. I just started studying my bible and realized how many things were unbiblical. I am now trying to let the other people know what the bible actually says!

Realize that there are two different types of believers in this world. There are those who understand scripture and who are growing in the knowledge and the blessings of God and there are the believers who are deceived and who will remain in sin and sickness their whole entire lives. Sadly more then 95% of believers fall into the deceived category and this is why scripture relates that only a remnant will be saved. “Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, The remnant will be saved.” Romans 9:27 NKJV. Scripture relates that if we are ignorant of God’s laws and commands then we are living in sin. Scripture also relates that sin will bring sickness and suffering into our life since sin and sickness is of the devil. So if you are someone who can get sick or you currently have an affliction in your life then you are definitely living in sin and you certainly have fallen for the devil’s many lies. Sin and sickness clearly reveals that you are a deceived believer since it proves that you did not allow the Holy Spirit to teach you how to overcome your sin. “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” I John 3:8 NKJV Many are deceived because they foolishly believe that they can never stop sinning or overcome sickness in this lifetime and they deny the very blessing that Jesus provided for everyone through His sacrifice and the gift of His Holy Spirit. Others like Charismatics and Pentecostals are deceived because of their misguided interpretations of scripture and so they basically believe that they are apostles who are able to cast out demons. Most believers are so deceived that do not even understand the differences between a Believer, a Disciple, a Christian and a Apostle and so I will now explain. First understand that every one of us is born in sin and in ignorance of God’s truth. EVERYONE! The problem with the majority of believers is that they will remain that way their whole entire lives since they are not comprehending what God related to us in scripture. Because they lack knowledge of scripture countless believers do not understand how to surrender their will to the Holy Spirit and so they never allow the Spirit to teach them how to overcome their sin and their sicknesses. When you first repent of your sins and you accept Jesus into your life you are now a believer but you are still deceived and ignorant about scripture since you have never been sanctified in truth by the Holy Spirit. This is why a believer will still possesses sin and sickness in their life since they still lack knowledge in the word of God. This is also why a new believer must understand how to surrender their will to the Holy Spirit so the Spirt can now teach them how to stop sinning. This purification process is called sanctification and it can only be achieved by understanding how to test the Spirits as commanded in 1 John 4. Sanctification will take years and it requires our faith, patience, suffering and endurance since the Holy Spirit teaches us how to overcome our sins. Once we learn how to overcome our sins we now have overcome our sicknesses since afflictions come from sin and the devil. Sadly the vast majority of believers never allow this process to occur since they are deceived in their beliefs and so they remain in their sin. Others will actually fall away during the sanctification process just as Judas certainly did and Jesus relates these various believers in the parable of the sower in Luke 8:11-15. There are not many believers who actually make it all the way through God’s sanctification process and this is why it is referred to as the narrow gate. “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV If a believer does surrender their will to God’s purification process they now become a disciple since they are now learning scripture directly from Jesus Himself. Jesus will now teach His disciple how to live just as He did since He now dwells inside His true children. A disciple means “a student who learns from his teacher.” This is why scripture relates that Jesus is our one and only teacher and this is also why the vast majority of religions and preachers are nothing more then false prophets who are only leading believers astray. It is during the sanctification process that the Holy Spirit teaches us how to live holy and righteously just as God commanded and He does this by showing us how to overcome our sins. Sanctification is kind of similar to what Jesus endured in the wilderness for 40 days since the Spirit has us confront the devil’s temptations head on. If you end up completing God’s purification process you are now a Christian who is sanctified in truth and you are a disciple of Jesus Christ who can no longer sin. This is when you are actually born again since a child born of God is someone who lives “exactly like Christ” and they no longer sin. This is how the term Christian came about since the original disciples lived exactly like Christ. Most overlook how Jesus had to train his twelve chosen disciples for three years before they could become His apostles. An apostle means someone who is sent, a messenger. Many also overlook the prayer that Jesus made for His disciples in John 17:6-19 where He asked His Father to sanctify His disciples in truth. So the disciples had to be sanctified in truth before Jesus could use them as His apostles, His messengers. So an apostle is someone who is a messenger from God and they possess the power of God to prove their anointment. Realize that God did not instruct us or command us to explain scripture to anyone but yet most are foolishly believing that it is their duty to try and lead others to Jesus. Many deceived believers do not understand that the Great Commission was for God’s chosen disciples who were trained by Jesus and who were sanctified in God’s truth. It was not meant for every believer of Jesus Christ to teach and that is simply a lie that is being fabricated by the devil’s many false ministers. So you might now begin to understand why the majority of believers are nothing more then children of the devil since they are ignorantly blaspheming the Spirit of truth when they willingly relate their misguided beliefs. These ignorant souls are simply spreading lies and condemning themselves since they were never taught scripture by Jesus nor where they sanctified in God’s truth. “It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.” John 6:45 NKJV ”My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.” James 3:1-2 NKJV Many believers are ignorantly believing that Jesus came to forgive our past, present and future sins. This spoken untruth is having people believe that they can continue in a life of sin and then simply repent and God will forgive them over and over. This is why many believe that if they repent just before they die then Jesus will save their sinful soul. This twisted reasoning would mean that you can continue to steal and then simply repent. You can then lie and then repent. You can then murder and simply repent. You can keep committing whatever sin you desire and simply repent afterwards and you will always be forgiven. This is simply nonsense that is fabricated by the devil to make you believe that you will always sin. “Jesus answered and said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Luke 5:31-32 NKJV Jesus did not come to call on the righteous since a righteous person does not sin. Jesus came to call sinners to repentance which meant for sinners to stop sinning entirely and to start living holy and righteously just as God commanded. Jesus came to forgive us of the sins that we have already committed and this occurs at the moment that we repent of our sins and we accept Jesus and His Holy Spirit into our life. We must then submit to God’s purification process and allow the Holy Spirit to sanctify our heart in God’s truth so that we could overcome the sin and the sicknesses that we possess in our lives. Once again this can only be achieved by understanding how to test the Spirits as commanded in 1 John 4. So a Christian is someone who is sanctified in truth and they can easily discern a true Christian from a deceived believer in seconds since they now possess the mind of Christ and they are able to judge all things. They can no longer sin nor can they ever get sick since they are now born of God and the devil can no longer touch them with his afflictions. I am someone who has overcome sin and sickness in my own life and this is why God has me relating His blessings in my writings and in my videos “We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.” I John 5:18 NKJV “Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.” I John 3:9 NKJV
Really I thought it was an over exaggeration! I went to a charismatic catholic service on Thursday nights back in the nineties. It was not as exaggerated as all that. I know it’s hard to believe that in a Catholic Church but of course it was only on a weekday. The person that invited me said it takes awhile to get use to. It should never take awhile, if it doesn’t feel comfortable... it’s not good! It did not take me years to figure it out. I was out of there in a matter of weeks. One of the people told me to practice speaking in tongues to just start making sounds.... No! If it’s a gift you don’t have to practice.... this might be humorous but still very much exaggerated!
2Timothy 2:15 “Study to show thyself approved, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Thank you for your candidness. Hopefully many will listen. God bless you.
I purchased your book and I read your book and was very enlightened on a lot of things. I followed it through the Bible, but on one part of your book, the prophecy and profits of today my husband is a profit people shew him away all the time. Pastors has walked him out the door of the church because they didn’t want to hear what he had to say and it was the Word of God. In my opinion God still have some profits these days and he is not prophesying over people as you said because it’s not about material things you have to grow spiritually to understand. And everybody is not going to have the gift of tongues. I told many people about your book, thank you Man of God!
I left my hypercharismatic church because I am bipolar and these two people offered to mentor me. They made me get baptized first. Then they sprung an exorcism on me. I ran out of there and never looked back. They treated me exactly as you describe.
@@doulikeswag That happened to me. I haven't been to church in almost 20 years. I love Jesus. I hope that I can get out of this hole to find the right church for me.
@@Kepi_Kei You can meet with other Christians in homes. That's church too. Like in the Book of Acts and the first 300 or so years of the early church. They may have had good intentions on trying to deliver you but it should never be sprung on someone!! Good grief!!! Your bi-polarism could very well be demonic and you may need deliverance. Isaiah Saldivar has a lot of really good videos on deliverance.
Denzel Washington is very much a man of faith, and has publicly professed His love and allegiance to Christ as Lord. Perhaps God is using Brother Parr's countenance so that many will pause and thereby hear him as he attempts to teach truth.

What is that suppose to mean tha you will take and do anything in his name you idiot . Besides the bible is a manipulated book is a fiction book is not even real .
I currently am a apostolic Pentecostal Christian and my church believes in speaking in tongue’s as a sign of receiving the Holy Ghost and there’s biblical evidence on it as well. I used to go to a church that was part of the united Pentecostal church and it was exactly like how you said. The leaders would play the part of God and that’s not ok. I told them I feel led to go to another church which is my current church and is in apostolic assembly. I’m so glad I made this move because the pastor leads me Christ instead of pretending to be Christ himself.
A lot of what make a good church is a good pastor who fears God and trembles at his word. His relationship to God will spill over on to the members of the church in one way or another. Keep him in prayer.
In my parent's old church that I grew up in there were a few ladies that would basically interpret any tongues being spoken...the leaders would invite anyone up if they had a word or message that they felt was from God to someone...and they would have a time of prayer at the end if people wanted it...One time, during the Easter service, I had a vision of a great multitude standing on a hill with 3 crosses...the middle one was empty...I blinked and the multitude had gone and I was alone standing in front of the empty cross...I then heard the words "Even if you were the only one on the Earth, I would have still died for you"
What we need is a balance in the church. "Do all things decently and in order." Let us not abandon the gifts because some abuse them. The dream the sister shared is a great example of using the gifts in line with the Word. And her dream is according to the Word. 1 John 4:1, Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
I was one of the people who did not "obey" and got blacklisted and shunned. None of the girls in the church would invite me out or talk to me because I had a "bad spirit". He even preached a sermon called "people carry spirits". The pastor's sermons were targeted directly to me. The church was and still is very manipulative. I still receive counseling for this because I thought I was crazy. Thank you so much for this Allen. Update: I didn’t obey because I wanted to date and I was told I needed to wait 2 years or until God told him.
I'm SO very sorry you went through that. May God give you complete healing and peace from such demonic behavior from folks who are supposed to "know" the Lord.
I'm sorry you had that experience with that particular Pastor. But all churches are not like that. We have to pray and ask the Lord to lead us to the place that is right for us and our level of spiritual maturity. It's like being in K-12 school...all levels are not the same. Some churches teach on college level and babes need to be in a church that teaches on their level..like 5th grade. You were likely in the wrong grade level. Be encouraged and Jesus wants "relationship" with us as individuals, not just "religiously" attending church service. COVID has made this clear. Then the pressure to perform goes away and we have no excuse for not having a intimate relationship with Jesus. Remain prayer ful. Blessings.
I know how you feel. I had about six months of sermons directed at me for asking questions. I was told I was unreachable. I left because I realized many of the doctrines were incorrect, especially on the subject of salvation. God opened my eyes. Stay encouraged.
I come from the same background. And what I learned is you can go from one extreme to the opposite extreme, and both are not healthy. Stay in the scriptures brothers and sisters. You’ll know when you’re where God calls you to be, and when you’re nitpicking. Some stuff is wacky and some stuff is real. That’s why we have discernment. To Christ be the glory
I grew up in a conservative Baptist Church that was all about the rules, mostly what one does not do as a Christian. Later I changed to attend several different Charismatic Churches, went through their Bible collage and seminary to Ordination, but by the grace of God, He freed me from all of them through the study of His Word. To date I have not found a solid Bible centered mature Church. However, I do follow "very carefully" a few ministers of Biblical teaching on line. It is sad to see so many people being misled through what they see as the church. This is my first time viewing this channel, very good word.
I went to a church where the pastor was laying hands on my head had someone behind me ready for me to fall and telling me just take it. Im thinking to myself ok if God does it fine but I'm not just gonna throw myself back.
😂 ...It's hilarious, but it's not. I was part of that type of church and would fall back. Now, after being delivered from that mess, if I end up visiting a church like that...nobody bothers me. I guess I got the look "don't try that mess on me." 😂
You _put to the test_ what he was saying was God doing it (but hey, just play along and pretend(!?!)), by not doing it unless God made it happen. Then, if God actually _did_ make it happen, you wouldn't have to _pretend,_ by saying that God made it happen when He didn't, which God would never do, because God does not lie, and we can't serve Him by lying! If we lie, we aren't doing it because we're serving Him!
@@sheresejames-grow1779 That's a good look to have. You will never be selected to sit or stand in the front line of a Benny Hinn extravaganza. Oh, did you hear the video where Benny Hinn said that one's ministry can be hindered by allowing the wrong people to sit in the front row?
I observed people doing the whole falling over thing when I was younger. It wasn't the church I went on a regular basis. ...***Greetings, Beloved of God. This message is lengthy but, it is very important.
The ancient Israelites was tested by the Sabbath commandment to see if they would keep God’s law or no in Exodus 16:4-
Do not be surprised if God allow man to do a similar test, enforce some type of Sabbath law to see if we will keep His law or no.
************************************************
Right now, we all do not see eye to eye, but, please hear me out..............
We are commanded to keep the days, years, etc. by the lights in heaven (the sun, moon and stars.)
God did not specify which days, so, we must conclude that He meant for all of His 3 category of days to be kept by the lights in heaven.
***********
The Sabbath command is one of the Ten Commandments listed in Exodus 20. It is just as important as the other nine and God commands us to keep it.
Multitudes of people think and teach that we are only required to keep 9 of God’s Ten Commandments. My Friend, if we think this way, we are already deceived.
***The Sabbath is a feast. Leviticus 23:1-3
***The moon is for seasons. Psalms 104:19
***The lights in heaven are for seasons, etc. Genesis 1:14
***The words “feast” and “season” comes from the same Hebrew word, MOED.
**********
There are about 167 countries that keep Sunday as the seventh day and the remaining, approximately, 64 countries keep Saturday as the seventh day.
If there is a “seventh day Sunday law” enforced and the remaining 64 countries change their calendars to read Sunday as the seventh day, then, the world will be keeping Sunday the seventh day as the Sabbath.
Mon. Tue. Wed. Thur. Fri. Sat. Sunday Law
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7
What day will you and I then keep as the Sabbath?
Already today, there are “Sunday Blue Laws” on government books.
Man can change “their” time anytime and deceive the world under the leadership of Satan. We must calculate God’s Sabbath by God’s Time so The Great Deceiver can not trick us about the true Sabbath and “cause” us to worship him.
“ He will think to change time and laws.” says Daniel 7:25
He only “THOUGHT” to change time when He “supposedly” had replaced God’s calendar with his calendar on earth. For he could not and has not truly change time because God’s Time sits in the heavens where no man can tamper with it! The sun, moon and stars, the lights in heaven, are God’s Time/Calendar.
***********
God’s Calendar has three category of days, the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Example of God’s months:
1st week... new moon day, six work days and Sabbath day
2nd, 3rd, 4th weeks....six work days and Sabbath day
The next month the cycle starts over.
God’s months reset. Read Luke 6:1
Man uses this same concept. For example:
The 1st and 3rd Sunday in August, the 1st and 3rd Sunday in September.”
“The 2nd and 4th Sabbath in April, the 2nd and 4th Sabbath in May.”
Note: There is never, never, ever, ever, 5 weekly Sabbaths in any one of God’s months.
This is not true on the Gregorian calendar. Sometimes, there are 5 weekly “Gregorian Sabbaths.” This is not in align with true time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I believe there is a great deception coming to get people to worship Satan through a false Calendar/Sabbath controversy.
God is a God of truth. God guides people by His truth. God’s Word is truth. Truth is our shield and buckler. Truth will keep us from all deceptions, the mark of beast, etc.
Christ did not suffer on the cross for us to walk in a lie and continue to cling to our traditions! He did not die for us to keep obeying the “voice of man” above “the voice of God!”
Read the stories about “King Saul” in 1 Samuel 15 and the “man of God” in 1 king 13.
****Read Revelation 13 & 14
This truth about God’s Calendar/Time and The Sabbath written in Genesis 1:14, Leviticus 23:1-3, Psalms 104:19, etc.is spreading throughout the four corners of the earth.
This message enrages many who claim to be followers of Christ because they can not refute it. It seems, the people outside the church buildings are the ones eagerly accepting it and believing it.
Please let us consider what is being said here and further research this important subject before it is to late.

The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy
For The Lord’s Little Flock, and For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear
Thus says The Lord: I have bestowed many gifts upon this generation, and lo, the small of My flock have received knowledge and revelation beyond compare. Yet I ask you, who has truly received? Who has been humbled by My words and given thanks? Who among all these scattered flocks has taken joy in My gifts? Beloved, who among this great multitude seeks out My will, to know it? And who, among all these so-called believers, takes pleasure in My Law, saying, “I delight to do Your will, O God, for Your Law is written in my heart”?[1]
Yet My people remain foolish, and this little flock envious. For I tell you the truth, each time you sit in judgment and question My ways, you walk in satan’s aspirations; you follow in his footsteps![2]
And when I bless another, why do you not take joy in it?
Therefore heed My words, and also do them;
Be wise in your dealings with Me,
Humble yourselves and remember...
Blessed are those who run to Me,
For they shall be blessed in My presence;
Even more blessed are those who run to Me,
Then obey My Word, for their blessing
Is complete and they are at peace...
Deliverance they shall surely know...

_Being slain in the spirit is not a modern invention. Look up the history of many revivals and you will see people falling out in the spirit. Ezekiel fell out when he saw a likeness of the glory of the Lord. John fell out when he saw the Lord when on the island of Patmos_
Uhm, is it really necessary to point out the enormous category error here? Ezekiel and John fell on the ground because they came face to face _with the Living God_ , not with a flashy preacher slapping them with his jacket. To even suggest those two things are the same borders on blasphemy. Show me where in Acts did the Apostles ever "slay people with the spirit", causing them to fall down.
_Also, have you had an experience of peace from a demon?_
Have you never met a Buddhist? Their entire religion is about being at peace, but what does Paul say? Those who worship idols worship demons. Satan is the great liar, the one who "disguises himself as an angel of light". Are you seriously suggesting that Satan is unable to give people a false sense of peace?
_Doesn't Jesus say that a house divided against itself will not stand?_
How is deception "dividing Satan against himself"? Deception is what the kingdom of Satan is build on.
_Peace is a fruit of the spirit, not a fruit of the evil one._
Peace is not a feeling, it is a state of mind. Peace is something you have every moment of every day. Not only when some crazy self appointed cult leader hits you with his jacket. Peace is what you have even when the Romans throw you to the lions.
_Further, discernment is not listed as a fruit of the spirit but rather a gift of the spirit_
And you think there is a difference, because.....
In Romans 12:2, Paul _commands_ Christians to discern the will of God. This is something _all_ believers need to do. In Galathians 22-23, it says one of the things the Spirit produces is _self-control_ - which is the exact opposite of what happens when people "get slain by the spirit".
_and it is specifically a discernment of spirits_
No, it is a discernment of the will of God. Yes, we must discern between spirits, but we must discern first and foremost between right and wrong.
_People often confuse it with wisdom but it is the ability to discern when something is demonic or out of line with scripture._
Like when pagan practices of sensualism and mysticism enters the church at the expense of sound rational exegesis of God's Word?
_And if I'm not mistaken the word says to love the Lord with all you heart, mind, and strength_
Actually, in the ancient Hebrew understanding, the heart was the seat of your thoughts. I can assure you, Jesus felt no warm and fuzzy feelings on the cross as he cried out: "My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?"
_How can you worship with just your mind? The heart needs to be involved as well
_
I never said we should worship him without feelings.

Because the Father said; "I change NOT." (Mal 3:6)
Sunday, 1st first day of the week, is seen by the many Christ speaks of, to be entering the wide gate on to the Broad Road to destruction. (Matt 7:13) But only a few, obeying God's commands, will find the straight and narrow path unto life.
(vs 14)
The weight on Sunday church hoppers, is very heavy. But the conclusion to this WHOLE matter, is to "fear God and keep His commandments: for THIS is the WHOLE DUTY of MAN." (Ecc 12:13)
I pray you have ears to hear and Eyes to see the deception that you are a part of.

It's okay! We humans tend to be so harsh on our past selves.

What's wrong with speaking in tongues that's a gift from God
@@mariawilliams9534 I never said anything was wrong with it. Im saying I agree with what he said about it. From my experience in church ppl make it seem like you are more spiritual when you do.

"I started reading my Bible." BINGO!
If you are interested you can see this on Lion of Fire Ministries 🦁🔥

So true, brother. I am sad to say that I have not been in church physically for a year. And I was serving on the worship team in production booth. I just have unanswered questions.
That's my dilemma now.
Lol! I have sympathy for ya!
Oh, by the way, I left the charismatic movement also. They started seeking the gifts and experiences more than God.
For as much as they talk about the Holy Spirit, most of them are actually very "human-driven."
The gifts and experiences come from seeking God.
The gifts ONLY come from serving God and getting closer to Him. Do you think God is going to give gifts to those who don't submit to His will. You grow in God, it's like a spiritual education. He emparts more gifts the more He can trust you with them as well.

I saw this meme that said: "If you want to show how spiritual you are, don't speak in tongues, apologize."
Sounds a lot like something Paul might say.
Speaking in tongues isn’t to “show” anything. Speaking in tongues edifies a Christian because you’re speaking to God in a language that is personal and coming directly from your spirit, praying his will rather than your own. “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.”

@@RoyalRose22-y1p yup!
Correct. We don't have to be diplomatic about it, you know.
As I was rolling back and forth on the floor, I was repeatedly screaming - “get it out!”
The ushers came and carried me out.
“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” (Hebrews 13:17)
Fast forward several years, after leaving Bible school, when I was attending an Assembly of God in New Hampshire.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12)
The following Sunday, for some odd reason, my car wouldn’t start.
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” (1 Peter 5:8)
I immediately cried out “the blood of Jesus!” and they suddenly retreated.
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7)
I learned later it was the Spirit fighting through me. Praise the Lord for the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)” (2 Corinthians 10:3-4)
Fast forward five years, I was led to give the Senior Pastor a call and see how things were going. He informed me that the Assistant Pastor (the one I had wrestled with) had split his congregation and took half of them down the road, to start another ministry. At the time I thought “oh no!”. But as time passed the Lord revealed to me that this was his will and his judgment on this congregation.
“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” (1 Peter 4:17)
“He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” (Matthew 13:28-30)
In conclusion
Those that this Assistant Pastor took with him, were not interested in the Word of God, they wanted the false prosperity gospel.

But, i left when I was 18 ! Three things will last forever-faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love.”

Go to a church that actually teaches the Word. I go to a church where we go verse by verse in one book until we are done. It is spiritually sound as well. It’s almost similar to Baptist church.
@@1saamor897I go to a similar church as well. Right on, Allen! NEVER fall down to appease a pastor, no matter HOW PO'd he gets when you don't fall down! If God wants you down on the floor, it would be NOTHING for HIM to put you there!
As a teenager, I was kicked out of a certain church for questioning most of these things that you mention...
What happened?
I would appreciate what your view of spiritual gifts is now? Do you believe that God does gift people today? Allen’s church sounds really wacky.
Excellent, my brother, you are 'spot on'. I attended a church where the head Pastor told us to take up the offering AFTER the song service when the people are very emotionally charged so that they will give a lot of money into the offering!
They do that in my church
The biggest red flag was that the woman refered herself as a Pastor. God has a divine order for man, and a a divine order for women. The headship is not for a woman. And I say that with much love.
“Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, The remnant will be saved.”
Romans 9:27 NKJV.
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.”
I John 3:8 NKJV
Many are deceived because they foolishly believe that they can never stop sinning or overcome sickness in this lifetime and they deny the very blessing that Jesus provided for everyone through His sacrifice and the gift of His Holy Spirit.
Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV
If a believer does surrender their will to God’s purification process they now become a disciple since they are now learning scripture directly from Jesus Himself.
“It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.”
John 6:45 NKJV
”My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.”
James 3:1-2 NKJV
Many believers are ignorantly believing that Jesus came to forgive our past, present and future sins.
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
Luke 5:31-32 NKJV
Jesus did not come to call on the righteous since a righteous person does not sin.
I am someone who has overcome sin and sickness in my own life and this is why God has me relating His blessings in my writings and in my videos
“We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.”
I John 5:18 NKJV
“Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.”
I John 3:9 NKJV

I know it’s hard to believe that in a Catholic Church but of course it was only on a weekday. The person that invited me said it takes awhile to get use to. It should never take awhile, if it doesn’t feel comfortable... it’s not good! It did not take me years to figure it out. I was out of there in a matter of weeks. One of the people told me to practice speaking in tongues to just start making sounds.... No! If it’s a gift you don’t have to practice.... this might be humorous but still very much exaggerated!

A lot of what make a good church is a good pastor who fears God and trembles at his word. His relationship to God will spill over on to the members of the church in one way or another. Keep him in prayer.
In my parent's old church that I grew up in there were a few ladies that would basically interpret any tongues being spoken...the leaders would invite anyone up if they had a word or message that they felt was from God to someone...and they would have a time of prayer at the end if people wanted it...One time, during the Easter service, I had a vision of a great multitude standing on a hill with 3 crosses...the middle one was empty...I blinked and the multitude had gone and I was alone standing in front of the empty cross...I then heard the words "Even if you were the only one on the Earth, I would have still died for you"
Awesome!
How beautiful and precious 🙌🙌
Wow ... now that is something you can back up in scripture. Beautiful 😍
Wow
Same applies in reformed churches, where control, judgementalism and even worship of the bible itself are amongst its own failings.
Stay encouraged.
...went thru something similar to this...thank God we are free!
I've experienced both fake and real.Learning to trust God is were the real anointing is regardless if one can speak in tongues or not.
Same
😂 ...It's hilarious, but it's not.
I always thought that if God/Jesus really showed up, I'd be on my face, probably terrified. The young people at that church all went to Burger King after the service and they had a reputation for having worse behaviour than the drunks did on Saturday night. Not a good look.
