Hey BEAT family! Today's video is a bit different. I'm actually not doing any of my typical "Bible teaching" like I normally do. Rather, this video is more personal to me but I pray it will be encouraging to you. I'm sharing with you a list of my top 5 favorite preachers of all-time. Now, that's a bold statement, but these are the men who have poured into MY life the most. Now, I'd REALLY love to know who YOU would include on your list and perhaps we can add some of your preachers (assuming they teach sound doctrine) to our list. I hope you enjoy this video!
The last four minutes of this video is outstanding, my brother. Thank you all of this video--and especially for them! May He grant you glimpses of His work through you, to your edification and encouragement and to His glory alone. Amen.
Bro Allen, I really appreciate you including #5. Possibly the best message of the video, it's easy to ignore and not appreciate the local preachers that pours into the life of parishioners almost daily... meanwhile you inspire me too, well except for one little bitty beef I have 🤣 ...thanks GOD for your life brother. Keep up the work...
Haha ur guess is good as mine. Dr. Charles Stanley is my best Preacher and I still share his daily devotion on my WhatsApp status to date. When I was struggling with Pornography, God directed me to his sermons and it was through his sermons that God set me free from Pornography. God bless him for me
Shout out to all the small church pastors who make a difference in people's lives every day, my dad included - especially those who don't make a living from it.
I would stay clear of this channel.. if he supports the people he is endorsing. But the earth church small churches are a good start, as well as small churches where you can actually learn. Would also include the Early church teacher Irenaeus. He, Irenaeus believed that a person who lives a life of disobedience is not a true Christian, even if he once claimed to be a Christian. So I disagree with Charles stanley on "Once saved always saved." I disagree with Macarthurs on many doctrines. Limited Atonement is what Tony Evans appears to teach, but in the fact that Jesus saved all people from condemnation, which is false. He conquered the death related to sin. Not the punishment for each man. This channel has a very poor view of theology. Toney Evans is a true heretic. He believes in Inclusivism : you don’t have to be a Christian to be saved. and Limited Theism :the denial of God’s omnipotence). He also believes that Jesus covers the sin of people and this would also include those who are saved? That is completely false. Jesus said forsake the world and sin.
@Cathrine True stuff - really important part of the kingdoms ministry on the earth. We will be rewarded according to our faithfulness not our Level of ministry
I got saved watching Charles Stanley. I’ll never forget it. I was 15 years old. Years later, his sermon on eternal security saved my mind. I was being tormented, and the freedom that came with that message made me feel like I could breathe for the first time in years!!!
My dad has been a faithful pastor of a very small church in a very small town in northern England for many years and sometimes he gets a bit disheartened when he doesn't feel he is reaching that many people, which is so upsetting to see. Watching videos like this reminds me how great a servant of the Lord he has been and still is. His perseverance, steadfastness, faith, kindness and leadership leave me in awe. If he reaches 1 person then the angels in heaven celebrate!
Praise Jesus for men like your father who may be an unsung servant for now but faithful in his great service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Great is his reward.
My heart leapt for joy when I saw that Dr. Stanley was your number one preacher! I have watched him for years and have found his teachings unmatched. Thank you Allen!
David Wilkerson is one of my favorite pastors. He influenced my heart with his passion for Jesus. I love the way he talked to the church. I was so glad when I stumbled across his sermons on You Tube.
@@ewaldrempel9924 Dereck Prince is really of one of the false teachers bring brought to the attention of bible believing Christians. Check out on the messages of Voddie Baucham n John McAurthur of making know false teachers, preachers n prophets. (FYI)
@Jayden De La Cruz why haven't u made it known to all the Christian community. If all spiritual gift r out the window, how is our discrenments to know right fr wrong n good n bad n blessing n crushing fare out. How is the power of the Holy Spirit helping us in this evil world system today. How is that these men n many others preaching the only true Gospel like Paul in his days was doing? So, if we have NO SPIRITUAL GIFT N THAT IT HAS CEASED, WE HAVE NO POWER OF THE FATHER TO BRING THIS MSG OF THE CROSS TO THE WHOLE WORLD BY DOING GOD'S COMMANDMENTS TO GO N TELL THEM ABOUT HIS GREASTEST GIFT THAT HE HAS GIVEN US IN HIS SON CHRIST JESUS ON CALVARY'S CROSS. They will be glad to share there answer with u. I love men n woman that shoot fr the hip."TEST THE SPIRITS!" IN THE NAME OF JESUS! AMEN. BRO. MIKEY T./ HAWAII.
Dr. Stanley stands on stage and his love of God just shines in his eyes. He knows God so deeply and personally you just have to listen to what he is saying.
We need more William Glaze in the church today who are willing to give the opportunity to others to grow and do something great for God like you are doing today. Tony Evans and Charles Stanley are my favorite 🤩
Gdaftern. YeSsss! Dr. Charles Stanley is 1 of mine too. I listened to him wen I was 10 yrs old, now I watch him on TV on Sunday morns. If I'm up early enuf. Bc since CoVid 19. My Chrch starts later, so I'm up later. Yes Chuck Swindol. Bishop Dale Bronner, Bishp TD Jakes, Pastor Creflo D., 2 name a few.
Hi Allen, you have a great impact in my life,I really appreciate thay. You influenced me to create a RUclips channel to share the timeless truth from the Bible with the balance of cultural revelence for the Chinese community. May God continue to use you greatly to glorify His name.
Charles Stanley will always be my number one because he shaped my life. I listened to his cd’s growing up and his sermons are timely. I actually wake up to his email from In Touch Ministries every single day. I love his phrases. “Now watch this carefully…” Also, has anyone seen his message The Tide is Changing or read that book? He preached this over 10 years ago and it is incredible how it relates to today.
Dr. Charles Stanley, my teacher since I became a Christian in 1984. I praise the Heavenly Father for using him so mightily. 🙏🏻 He is now at home with the Lord. A good and faithful servant indeed!
Dr. Charles Stanley has been my one and only pastor for 39 years. The Lord told me to sit under his ministry, to listen, learn and grow. I own all his sermons, books, and materials. The Lord taught me early on to always give my best, for He always gives us His best. Like so many other Believers the world over, I am eternally grateful to The Lord for the work He has accomplished in this gentle, wise, obedient man. Again, Father, thank you for this opportunity to brag about Your workmanship. 😇
I couldn't imagine listening to only one preacher all my life. After reading and studying the Bible for so long, I realized there is not any pastor that can lead and teach me in everything. I think relying on one man is dangerous. We all need each other.
Yes, Dr. Charles Stanley is my number one teacher and preacher! I just learned of him about 2 years ago, and I've been trying to watch every lesson he's taught. He is filled with knowledge and wisdom. I just love this guy because he does more teaching than preaching, which I appreciate.
1) Dr. Charles Stanley whom God used emphasizing on intimacy & deep personal relationship with God through our Lord Jesus Christ & the power of the Holy Spirit. That's why I got Dr. Stanley's Life Principles Bible. I deeply thank God about this Bible & grateful to have it. To God be the glory❤🙏 I thank God for the rest of the Pastors on the list who are ceaselessly serving God preaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. To God be the glory ❤🙏 for sure there are many many pastors unheard of but is doing the work ministry of God rain or shine. I praise & thank God for them. Praying for all pastors, missionaries & those who are not known many but serving God for protection, guidance, wisdom, their needs.
Billy Graham, his messages has made me very serious in Evangelism, Kenneth Hagin taught me a great lot about faith in God, Andrew Murray helped me so much in my prayer life. Pastor Enoch Adeboye has taught me so much on Holiness, Bishop David Oyedepo , his messages has made me develop more commitment in SERVING GOD ALMIGHTY passionately.
Brother, Allen...this made me teary eyed at the end lol what a beautifully done video. You were the first person I found in the Christian RUclips community and haven't stopped watching your content since. It has blessed my walk very much.. May the Lord keep blessing you as you impact many others! Love you, bro!
I have the same 4 as you mentioned with the #5 being Dr. Robt A Cook who always asked, "how in the world are ya". He was along with Dr Swindoll. God bless you and your transparency which is helping so so many find their way as the holy spirit leads.
Hey Lisette you should also check out Stephen Darby Ministries as well in the RUclips Christian community. He was a really great teacher and prophetic as well. I’m happy to have met him. May the Lord add peace and joy on your journey Lisette
Charles Stanley has always been my go to for truth and simplicity of understanding the word of God and following Jesus. I was saved in an AoG church but didn't believe a few of their important teachings so prayed for God's guidance and found Dr.Stanley online.
This was a blessing, I am in tears, just because I'm so grateful, so thankful that the Lord called me into His family. I love being a Christ follower!!
Jesus is my favorite preacher of all time “ Jesus said to them, ‘I must preach the good news of the Kingdom of God…’” (Luke 4:43) but the 5 in this video are great too.. I love what you said about #5 William Glaze. Nice work Allen!
@@kiawilliams5541 Local preachers can definitely be a blessing from God. Mine was very influential to me, but I doubt he’ll ever be known at the national level either..but they nonetheless are used greatly by God. Have a great day Kia
They're honestly the ones that make the biggest impact. Voddie Baucham said once that he can never replace a local pastor in the life of a Christian. He said there is absolutely no substitute for a man that ministers to YOUR personal needs and breaks bread at YOUR personal table. So true. My mentor went home to be with the Lord at 93 years old and he was my absolute hero and carried me around in his shirt pocket and taught me so much. On the day he died and went and spent a few hours at his bedside and cried like an absolute baby and kissed his forehead numerous times. He was almost totally out of it and had been for a few days but STILL by his bedside table was his Bible and a book on sermon outlines and that has stuck with me as much as anything I ever heard him say. It was like when Paul was in a dungeon he knew he wasn't gonna escape but still told Timothy to bring him his books. Real men of God want to know more about their Lord until the very moment their faith becomes sight and the world desperately needs more men like that today! When he died his family sent me a card with a nice note in it about how much I meant to HIM and that blessed my heart greatly and I will keep that until my dying day. I just hope if I make it 93 years that I can be Timothy's Paul like he was to me.
@@SimpleManGuitars1973 Your words made me cry. What a wonderful tribute to your pastor and mentor. My dad was a pastor and a Bible scholar but never asked for accolades. He loved the lost and spent his life reaching out to the lost persons.
Yes Dr. Tony Evans has touched on topics that most preachers are either afraid to tackle or just ignore all together. Dr. Tony Evans sermons has truly touched my heart. He gives biblical teaching using everyday issues! For that I am grateful. Truly a Man of God. And Charles Stanley wow both are some of my favorites. I too don't like a lot of the screaming to get the word of God out. Just preach the word. Stop yelling at the people. If I hear another Preacher say " I wish I could get 10 people to yell or raise their hands with me" I thought all the Glory belonged to God. Some preachers want to get the glory. Just preach the word. Its that simple. I have stop watching those loud. Yelling singing along the sermon preaching. Its too much! I worked years ago but for today just give the Word of God In Love preacher's.
Dr. Charles Stanley!!!, everyday, podcast sermon and devotion!!! He is a mighty vessel of God and he is absolutely led by the Holy Spirit! Love him!! I pray blessings over him.
Stanley and Evans are televangelists with error mixed throughout their teachings. But you can at least begin to learn something from them. However it's much more consistent to not listen to RUclips channels to learn theology or the like. Most of the people represented clearly teach that you are saved regardless if you sin willfully, and the means OSAS. As well as much worse things most likely that Jesus became sin on our behalf. That is the worst heretic blasphemy to date. Stay away from what those types of teachers. Definitely find someone that affirms Jesus was completely sinless, before, during the death of the Cross and after the resurrection from the tomb and grave. Evans teaches that men continually reject the Salvation, but that's not all they do, even false "Christians" willfully accept the sin that enables them to reject salvation. So that means Christians reject Salvation by not rejecting sin. Allen Parr had fallen far from the true path of biblical foundation.
@@shadowlands8490 charles stanley didnt start teaching the "ince saved always saved" doctrine until after he hired Anthony George. I tried to stay at that church but eventually stop attending. Its hard finding a true bible believing church here in Atlanta
They are not led of the spirit of God they can’t because flesh is flesh and Jesus said to be filled up with the power of God even John the Baptist told his followers to follow Jesus tongue talkers over comers are in Jesus Yeshua and they are filled up three baptism read for yourself Acts chapters one and two and all of acts mighty lessons to learn and we can and will be led of our Father God and have the Power from on high don’t leave the instruction place Jerusalem with out being filled up baptized into God’s Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues oh my goodness God is oh so good ask seek and knock shalom
Well, as a new child of Christ, you, Allen, are 1 of MY top 5. You've given me clarity when I was confused about certain things, and You've deepened my wisdom with your daily teachings. I truly thank God for you and your work. Be blessed and covered forever Man of God!
Billy Graham, Charles Swindol, James Dobson, Ravi Zachariah, Alistair Begg, Tony Evans I couldn’t choose just 5! These men are listed chronologically according to the impact they had at the different stages of my life. Billy Graham was foundational, James Dobson helped me raise my boys, Ravi got me through grad school! Love all these men who spoke truth into my life!
Carter Colon from Times Square church. I started listening to his sermons while going through a rough divorce. His love of God and desire to have others experience that as well is what kept me going through that tough time in my life.
Charles Spurgeon, Billy Graham, R C Sproul, Alistair Begg and John MacArthur and Paul Washer. These people have been so fundamental in my spiritual growth
Billy Graham was a 33rd degree freemason and John McArthur said that someone can still enter heaven, having received the mark of the beast. Not sure if he repented and retracted this.
@@TN-ie8kd there are no perfect preachers and the Bible is a book as vast as God Himself. Let us not be quick in terming any preacher false because of some minor differences with our belief and theology. Billy Graham was not a pastor so his ministry differed from the rest of the Preachers I mentioned above and John Macarthur has always stood for the truth and for the Bible. Maybe we need to pay close attention to what he actually meant.
@@matthewterry9413 The truth is out there for those who have ears to hear and eyes to see, Having said that you will notice, if you care to that is, that I said I am not sure if he JOHN McArthur repented or retracted his statement. OMT do and believe what you will. I put my trust in YHVH first before I put my trust in man. Shalom
Love Dr. Evans too. I have his commentary and bible as well. He is a God-blessed pastor and one of my favorites. And I also love EIFM (Dr. Fred Price, who has passed into glory this year, but his son, Fred Jr. is very sound in the word like his father). I also love listening to the older preachers who passed away many years ago, J Vernon McGee, Smith Wigglesworth, Derek Prince, and Myles Munroe (who passed into glory in 2014).
So do I! Love the interactive part of his commentary Bible. Just hover over those scanners with your phone and Dr. Evans pops in and explain the part you're reading. Just great.
After watching and taking a moment to think about those pastors who have impacted me. I found myself agreeing with you on Charles Stanley and Chuck Swindol. I also listened to Billy Graham and David Jeremiah. Of course my church pastor, Jim Dykes. But, as I was thinking, I have really been following you for several years now. Probably 5 or more. And as time has gone by, I have really appreciated your explanations on different topics in the bible. What God has done through you has really helped me, even in a time when I was not attending church for one reason or another. So Allen Parr would be that special one on my list. To God be the glory, He has certainly used your teachings in my life. And I thank you for answering that call and for pushing through and learning and studying as you have done. Thanks to all our pastors, who help us to understand God's word and apply it to our lives.
Allen, I would not be where I am today in my personal walk with God if I had not stumbled upon your channel--- your practical guidance and Biblical wisdom has helped. me so much! Thank you for your faithfulness -- to God be the Glory!
Allen, I have a few favorites, some are by no means k own internationally. Rick Reed from Temple TX is one. John Campbell from NC. Brother you have helped me a lot. Your no-nonsensr. You don't have a choir behind you, you don't use crazy voice inflections, and you get straight to the truth. Thank you for you work.
My father. Home missionary/church planter. We had 40 people on a good Sunday, but his legacy is unmatched in that community. Never wavered, completely consistent. Set the bar for me.
My Grandfather was very much like your father. Had a small congregation, but impactful on the community and surrounds. He saw everyone as souls that needed saving. We need more of these people.
Pastor Charles Stanley is the very first voice I heard when I was a child here in Phiilippines...I heard his preachings over the radio. That powerful voice echoed through my senses as I progress through this life.
I really thank God that I came across John MacArthur, RC Sprowl, Steven Lawson, and so many more (including you) who are bold in preaching the gospel and aren’t afraid of speaking the truth in a world that is looking for lies.
When I first started learning about how to live this new life - I was introduced to Dr. Charles Stanley’s ministry by a friend. Dr Stanley’s teachings taught me how to say yes to the things of God. Love him!
I still watch Dr Stanley at least few times a week!! He truly understands the “good news” of the gospel and has helped me enormously in my Christian journey 🙏🏼
Dr. Charles Stanley has been a constant in my life since I happened upon him over 30 years ago! I used to plan my lunch breaks around his radio broadcast. My “local” favorites (because of their knowledge of scripture, Godly life and commitment to sound doctrine) are my former Pastor Steven Bishop and my current Pastor Ulysses Hendrix (both of Michigan).
Allen, this video was so revealing of your character. You are so humble and you have such an integrity that I so appreciate. God knows what He's doing for sure!!!! Thank you, Allen :)
I have to say Pastor Charles Stanley & Minister Tony Evans are very impactful and faithful men of God. For me, I think Keith Green (Christian pianist, singer, songwriter) ministered in a way, through his music, that had powerful teachings and worship to Abba Father. He lived the Word. Very convicting songs that placed God always at the center. He was a humble man, who continued to chase after Christ and believed in reaching the lost so they would be saved. He truly lived the Word. He wasn't at all perfect, but he had a hunger and thirst for God and His teachings. I encourage others to look him up. You will be blessed. He left this earth in 1982 (plane crash). I do wonder why he was taken so early. However, God's will is not our will. Inshallah. Blessings to all!
Dr. Charles Stanley has made a great impact in my spiritual life. His sermons reach the core of every aspect of our lives, and leaves the listener with a new spiritual awareness and growth. Through the help of the Holy spirit Dr. Charles Stanley touched my life.
I love John MacArthur because he convinced me that my salvation is secure. I was brought up thinking I could lose my salvation. Now I dont fear losing my salvation but I have a healthy fear of God. Instead of wanting to take advantage of God's grace I'm grateful. It changed my life. MacArthur also taught me the true work of the Holy Spirt. I was raised in a pentecostal church and I see how they were just wrong on some things.
Acts 7:55 KJV - But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
Romans 8:34 KJV - Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
When I was first saved I found a radio station that played Charles Swindol, Chuck Stanley, and John MacArthur on. I listened to them daily and they were a big influence in my early Christian walk. Then I found you, Allen, and you are my go to!!! Thank you for your loving and honest service for our Lord.
@Prophet Nathan Hogan, Pastor Allen Parr (whose video you just watched is in a greek letter fraternity as well)... not condoning it but perhaps he renounced his letters or doesn’t stand by all their beliefs. Either way, that’s between them and God. The list is about who you enjoy watching/listening to not about their personal life. Gifts and callings come without repentance.
Dr. Charles Stanley is who I listened to that helped bring me back. He’s easy to understand & passionate in his teachings. I love him!! Also, the late Adrian Rogers, his sermons are very powerful.
Thank you so much for writing this. I am totally serious when I say my eyes started to bug out and my hair stood up when I saw those words Adrian Rogers. It was November 15 2005, I still remember breaking down while standing over a counter and hearing Adrian had passed away of pneumonia while battling colon cancer I believe. After regaining my composure it occurred to me that it was selfish to want to keep him from being in the presence of God. Like many others, Charles Stanley has had the most impact in my life, especially since he's the one that brought me to Christ. I have to say though, I have listened to Charles Stanley for over 35 years( I don't think he's recording anymore )compared to the 10 years I had with Adrian Rogers.I understand that the Lord can use anything or anyone (balaam's donkey) and that God has blessed us with their preaching and teaching, but (Father, please forgive me) I miss Adrian Rogers!
@@michaelthompson4949 When I was pastoring my second church we were in revival and had one of my personal heroes preaching in it for me. So one night the choir was up singing and he reached across the other preacher and sorta punched me on the arm and said "sign my Bible". I looked at him like he was crazy. He said "sign my Bible". I AGAIN looked at him like he was crazy and he adamantly said "SIGN IT!" and the other preacher said "Brother you better do what you're told!" and I said "but you're YOU and I'm ME and you want ME to sign YOUR Bible???" and he said "Yep". So I opened up that Bible and there was a ton of names in it and lo and behold there was Adrian's wife Joyce who had signed it and he had met Adrian himself. I felt like Peter when he said to Jesus "Dost THOU wash my feet???" My name does not even belong in the same PHONE BOOK as Adrian Rogers but it was one of the most humbling experiences in my life.
I have two memories from Bellevue: 1. My uncle helped with the sound at Bellevue Baptist so he would carry us with him from time to time, especially during their presentation of the Singing Christmas Tree. As an unsaved teenager, about 40 years ago, I remember listening to him preach a message from Ezekiel about the valley of dry bones. I am not sure I can explain the impact it had on me at the time. I just remember being awestruck how Dr. Rogers made an "insignificant story" jump off the pages. 2. He was relating a story about how he and his wife disagreed about an issue. He said he explained why he felt he as right and she simply disagreed. He said he went on to give an outline of why he felt his position was correct giving multiple points, with each point starting with the same letter of the alphabet. When he was finished, he said he felt that surely she would see he was correct. She said, "you're not right simply because you can say it better...you're still wrong." It's crazy the things you remember.
You’re one of the most impactful evangelical Christians I’ve ever got to listen to Allen! (All the glory to GOD who has given you wisdom that is relevant not only to the older generation but to younger ones as well!) Friendly Reminder to anyone who hasn’t already: Repent, Receive Christ, and let the gift of the Holy Spirit Reform your mind!✨
I am Ms. Christina Novungwana from South Africa. Thank you for sharing the information about your experiences with us. The late Pastor Nicholas Bhengu, of the Assemblies of God, in South Africa, is the one who made a great impact in my life by introducing the Gospel of Jesus to me at age twelve, about forty-one years ago. I glorify God that Pastor Bhengu's teachings enabled me to learn the differences in the various charismatic churches I fellowshipped at during my changes of residence, his teachings were far different from today's teachings in the charismatic churches.
Dr. Charles Stanley has made a huge impact with my walk with God with his teachings, a book that I have and for many years now, I have been receiving his Daily Devotionals every month. And what can I say about Tony Evans ... He is actually being used to help me get through a battle that I am facing as we speak. I just THANK GOD for these Mighty Men of God ❣ Thanks for the Playlist, It's greatly appreciated 👍🏽💞💞💞💞💞
Amen. From the first time I heard Dr. Charles Stanley he instantly became my fave. I listen to his sermons regularly and I have grown so much in the Lord thanks to him 🙏🏼 🙌 ❤
Omg, Dr Charles Stanley and now Dr Tony Evans. So much wisdom and preaching in a way that I have learned so much more than I had heard or knew before. Two wonderful Christian men. Praise God for blessing us with them. Hugs to you because I love seeing and watching your videos. Amazing video and s full of good teaching.
Pastor Charles Stanley is one of my favorite preachers. I love listening to of how he preaches the Lord's word but also he helps people that don't understand or have a hard time understanding The Lord's word even the teachings of Jesus parables. Another pasture that I like as we all know pastor Billy Graham. I love listening to pastor John MacArthur, pastor Paul washer, pastor David Jeremiah and a few others. It's always good to hear preachers like the ones that I mentioned and the other ones that you mention my brother Allen of these preachers when they preach and talk about sin and hell but also the Lord's holiness...✍️🇺🇸❤️🕊️✝️🙏 PS there's any brother and sister that can help me out can we lose our salvation because we truly put our faith in the one and only true God through our Savior Jesus Christ we are sealed by the Lord's Spirit the holy spirit that abides within us. I heard a preacher but I forgot which one but they said. A righteous living doesn't get us saved but a righteous living as evidence that person that child of God is saved in the Lord is working in them
So true, Ian-Terrell Hawkins. Your listing is also my favorite. Dr. Price's son is now leading EIFM since his father passed into glory this year, and the son's teaching is just as good as his father's.
Was so glad to see Tony Evans in your top 5. This guy breaks the Bible and God's teaching down. Like you said he's not a whopping and hollering pastor. He's a teacher
Tony Evans can get rolling at times and louder. I listen to him just about everyday on a station here and Tony can get pretty close to hollering. Evans is very good. He keeps it real and tells us to not sit back and accept unBiblical things by Christians or non Christians.
My Dad was a Missionary and all the favorite preacherrs you've named were. introduced to me by him at a very early age. My Dad being a child Evangelist led me to Christ when I was five and so I grew up listening to all the named preachers. I'll miss Charles Stanley but I thank God He still speaks even in death. Yes my no. 5 is of course my Dad, the one person who impacted my life. Keep up the good work Allen. I'd really like you to do a video on the Islam n it's teaching.. Watching n listening to you from Kenya
I would listen to Tony Evans during my drive to work at 6am, by the time I got to work I had either cried, repented, or laughed..but I always arrived Praising the Lord and ready to start my day ❤️..
Favorite preachers: John MacArthur- he has taught me about the proper context of scripture Justin Peters- absolutely love his sermons on false preaching/prosperity preachers James White- very knowledgeable about God’s word and the languages used in God’s word; also very wise man who understands history and man’s sin and how things are playing out in today’s world because of evil leaders and ideologies Paul Washer- very passionate about people understanding the urgency of people’s salvation John Piper- his ministry has blessed my obsessive thoughts more than I can say. This man has a video of biblical responses for almost any question imaginable
Also very grateful for James White. As a former mormon, I grew up not even knowing what exegesis and eisegesis was. Mormons basically have NO idea nor care to study how truly infallible and innerrant the word of God is as our sole rule of faith.
@hfoerho Hy there 😃. I haven't really read the whole bible, I'm working on it though. However, I think trying to take the trinity as a mystery helps because we are to know God not understand him. I'd like to believe that the implication of something being one means same person but different form. But how then would you justify the co-existence that happened at the baptism where we find Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit in the same spectrum. Again Jesus once gave an illustration of what David had said I l quote, 'Luke 20 vs 41 to 44'. There are two Lords mentioned, one being the Lord God the father and the other being the Lord Jesus Christ. Again, I haven't read the whole Bible and I don't really know much so if I'm wrong I accept correction which is sound doctrine so that I may also be not led astray. Thank you. God bless you. 😁
I absolutely concur!. These preacher/teachers opened my eyes to the truth of Gods word. I learned the importance of exegetical teaching - something I had not experienced before. I am so grateful to God for these men.
Charles Stanley “Trust God and leave all the consequences to him” John MacArthur. No scandals no backing down and finishing strong. David Jeremiah, putting love and grace in its proper place. Chuck Missler, The most academic and learned of all modern preachers.
I also love Stanley because as a person who will get distracted easily, he always will do that thing to make sure you're listening "Now listen to this" "Say Amen if you're listening" that's something that I need and appreciate
J Vernon McGee of Thru the Bible has helped me so much in being able to articulate my faith and share with it with others. I still try to listen every day, and I seem to learn something new every time. John McArthur probably helped me the most as a young child, to understand faith in Jesus and how to live for Him.
Yes! I thoroughly expected old J Vernon to be on his list! What a classic, a wonderful, funny, amazing man of God, who walked us through the Bible over and over and over again. It just never gets old, God shows me new truths every day.
David Jeremiah, and Jack Hibbs are my two favorite preachers now, but my first pastor, Rev. Bond P. Bowman at Brightmoor Tabernacle in Detroit MI is my all-time favorite.. He has been in Heaven for many, many years, but the impact he has had on my life continues to this day
My favorite teacher is Mike Winger. That is how I got hooked up to your teachings too. I work in a Christian based recovery program for Women and the ladies and I watch you all the time Ruslan Kd too. You gentlemen are a blessing to us and you all keep it real.
Yes! He really shows how to think Biblically, and now whenever my daughters ask me tough questions, I found that I could find an answer, doing the steps he teaches online. So grateful.
Love your list, but the last one made me cry. What a word of encouragement that is for ALL of us,. Most of us are just nobodies trying to tell everybody all about SOMEBODY who saved our souls. May JESUS bless you, your family and your ministry . In HIS love , your brother in CHRIST
There’s a point there too. Not only must we surround ourselves with great preaching but also we must also be careful with our entertainment. Casting Crowns, not perfect, but lots of excellent conviction and encouragement in their songs.
My favorite preacher of all time is my husband, Rev. Quintrell Hollis. It’s amazing to have a front row seat in the life of a minister who lives out what he preaches. I’m blessed ti be his wife!
Charles Stanley and Tony Evans have been on my list for many years. Another one that's been on my list is Alister Begg, out of Cleveland. His ministry is Truth For Life.
Hi! This was an awesome video, I was so surprised we had similar picks! Mine are: 1- Charles Stanley 2- Chuck Swindoll 3- David Jeremiah Those first 3 move me to tears almost at the anticipation of the Word they’re about to teach… 4-Tony Evans 5- I tie Adrian Rogers with Billy Graham *And an honorable mention of my previous pastor that is gone on to Glory is Pastor Anderson Culbreath and my present Pastor Kendall Logan is great too. I’m almost sure I’ve heard John MacArthur, but will have to go listen to some of his sermons- to get better familiar with him . Thank you so much for this video. 🙏🏽🙌🏽
I love Charles Stanley's teachings. His preachings make me grow a lot in my Christian life. When I was baby Christian, I can't sit through 10 min of his sermons. As I mature, his sermons are true gems. And I also like Dr Andy Woods verse by verse bible teachings, and bible prophecy teachings, he is another gem.
It is phenomenal that we have the same list of such influential Godly men. With their help by way of the radio they helped me raise my son. To this day God still uses them to help me keep the faith, and now I can add one more person to my list...you. May God continue to bless you. #AMAZINGENCOURAGER!!!🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯
I listen to: Allen Parr, Charles Stanley, Tony Evans, Charles Swindoll, John McArthur, Erwin Lutzer, Ed Hindson, Voddie Baucham, Charles Lawson, Billy Crone, David Reagan, Jack Van Impe, James Vernon McGee, Paul Washer, David Jeremiah, Robert Breaker and David Wilkerson. They have all made an impact in my life
R. C. Sproul said that a man came up to him and said "You and Kenneth Copeland are my two favourite preachers". Needless to say he did not know how to take that.
Exactly! That doesn’t make any sense. The lists I’m reading from people, some of the pastors would rebuke the other pastors they’re being mentioned in the same sentence with.
Billy Graham is one of my favorite preachers, my dad introduced me to him, and I started watching him and he changed my view on my salvation, which at the time I had been doubting. So Billy Graham would be my top pick
Dr. Charles Stanley, Chucks R. Swindol and Dr. David Jeremiah. They were literally my Go-To preacher and I always used to listen to their podcast most of the time. I would never forget how Dr. David Jeremiah introduced OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST to me and that was the BEST thing that has ever happened in my life! He was such a blessing to me! I have been listening to him when I was like 12 yrs. old and He's still one of my Favorites!
GREAT GREAT List. Dr. Stanley is the MOST important/influential person in my walk with Jesus Christ. The Lord has spoken to me thousands of times through Dr.Stanely's voice/teaching. My personal top 5 is Dr. Stanley, Pastor Greg Laurie, Chip Ingram, Billy Graham, and Adrian Rodgers. Top 8, Dr Swindoll, Dr Tony Evans, Dr Jeremiah.
Jesus teaches me thru the Bible n quiet times with Him. The Holy Spirit leads n guides and give me good discernment. I thank God ❤️ for all the people who have impacted me and help build my faith. TQ Ps Allen.
I watched Pastor Stanley as a kid growing up in Savannah. When I became grown and moved to Atlanta, I was blessed to become a member of his church. He has recently stepped down, but his replacement Pastor George is great as well. In no particular order Charles Stanley, Tony Evans, Adrian Johnson, David Jeremiah, and my Pops as I'm a PK.
I discovered Pastor Dave Jones during the lockdown, I was studying the book of revelation and i found it very hard to understand, so i searched teaching on revelation and I had i list but when i loaded on Pastor Jone's teaching was the greatest i have ever heard, I would encourage anyone reading my message to watch his teaching, I have learnt the whole Bible with his teaching also bought a book the coming bride by Pastor Dave Jones .
Amen.
I enjoyed it.
God bless him for me
@Unprofitable Servant You can't come her and insult Allen. Allen don't mind people like these
Shout out to all the small church pastors who make a difference in people's lives every day, my dad included - especially those who don't make a living from it.
So I disagree with Charles stanley on "Once saved always saved."
I disagree with Macarthurs on many doctrines. Limited Atonement is what Tony Evans appears to teach, but in the fact that Jesus saved all people from condemnation, which is false. He conquered the death related to sin. Not the punishment for each man. This channel has a very poor view of theology.
Toney Evans is a true heretic.
He believes in
Inclusivism : you don’t have to be a Christian to be saved.
and Limited Theism :the denial of God’s omnipotence).
He also believes that Jesus covers the sin of people and this would also include those who are saved? That is completely false. Jesus said forsake the world and sin.
I receive this shout out!!! 😂
AMEN!!!

Charles Stanley has been my teacher for over 30 years one of the best teachers 🙏🏽
My favorite Pastor Stanley

We need more William Glaze in the church today who are willing to give the opportunity to others to grow and do something great for God like you are doing today. Tony Evans and Charles Stanley are my favorite 🤩

Charles Stanley has guided me through so many storms and issues in my life - I so respect him for what he has done for me!

Your testimony honoring your childhood pastor simply brought tears to my eyes. The local pastor is so under appreciated.

Oh yes Billy Graham rates among the highest in my book. I do not like preacher's who talk about other preachers. Its wrong in my book.

Romans 8:34 KJV - Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
@hfoerho 1 Corinthians 12:30 KJV - Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
Though I love Ptr. JMac. His views of the gifts I would disagree with a heartbeat.
Tony Evans is still one of my favorites 'til this day! His mustache has also stayed immaculate!
Tony Evans is in a fraternity. He serves 2 masters and the Bible is against idol worship and greek gods....
Adrian Rogers sounded like Mr. rogers telling a story.
@@SimpleManGuitars1973 Thank you for sharing your experience, and I'm certain that the Lord has blessed you as a result.
You’re one of the most impactful evangelical Christians I’ve ever got to listen to Allen! (All the glory to GOD who has given you wisdom that is relevant not only to the older generation but to younger ones as well!)
Friendly Reminder to anyone who hasn’t already: Repent, Receive Christ, and let the gift of the Holy Spirit Reform your mind!✨
I listen to his sermons regularly and I have grown so much in the Lord thanks to him 🙏🏼 🙌 ❤
Yes, his voice is very soothing, but his message very powerful!!!
Tony Evans is in a fraternity. The Bible is against idol worship and serving greek gods.
A righteous living doesn't get us saved but a righteous living as evidence that person that child of God is saved in the Lord is working in them
My five favorite Preachers:
Dr. Myles Monroe, Dr. Tony Evans, Dr.Charles Stanley, Allen Parr and Dr. Frederick Price. Thank you for sharing✨
So true, Ian-Terrell Hawkins. Your listing is also my favorite. Dr. Price's son is now leading EIFM since his father passed into glory this year, and the son's teaching is just as good as his father's.
Tony Evans is my favorite preacher of all time. Glad you mentioned him!
Dr. Charles Stanley has made the biggest impact in my walk with Christ. Also, Billy Graham.
YES i haven’t watched many because I’m so suspicious but he is my favorite so far and his bible study is👌🏽
Tony Evans is in a fraternity. The Bible is against believers serving idol worship and serving greek gods.
Chuck Missler, Tony Evans and R.C. Sproul have definitely made an impact in my life.
I would listen to Tony Evans during my drive to work at 6am, by the time I got to work I had either cried, repented, or laughed..but I always arrived Praising the Lord and ready to start my day ❤️..
Facts..
Me too. The way he ends his sermons gets me so moved one way or another that when I got out of my car at work I feel like I have already won the day.
Yes!!!! Dr. Charles Stanley's teachings has helped me learn how to forgive others as well as myself during my most horrifying dark days.
Same here, dr. Stanley preaches scripture like no other.
I call him Papa Charles 🤗
My favorite pastor
Can someone please tell me why a church vote in a senior pastor? To me it makes absolutely no sense.

Voddie Baucham and Paul Washer's teachings are wonderful!!!
AMEN! Thank God for these men!
I can't get used to Washer's "angry yelling"
Favorite preachers:
John MacArthur- he has taught me about the proper context of scripture
Justin Peters- absolutely love his sermons on false preaching/prosperity preachers
James White- very knowledgeable about God’s word and the languages used in God’s word; also very wise man who understands history and man’s sin and how things are playing out in today’s world because of evil leaders and ideologies
Paul Washer- very passionate about people understanding the urgency of people’s salvation
John Piper- his ministry has blessed my obsessive thoughts more than I can say. This man has a video of biblical responses for almost any question imaginable
First person I've heard mention Paul Washer in here and he's my absolute favorite!! Wow!
Jesse Garner Paul is great
Also very grateful for James White.
Dr. Charles Stanley is my favorite pastor he purchase strictly from the Bible he's awesome May our God keep blessing him.
Charles Stanley “Trust God and leave all the consequences to him” John MacArthur. No scandals no backing down and finishing strong. David Jeremiah, putting love and grace in its proper place. Chuck Missler, The most academic and learned of all modern preachers.
Love Chuck Missler. He was such a unique Bible teacher who really walked to the beat of his own drum. No one put out the kind of material that he did.
@@sorenpx chuck missler number 1 for sure
All preachers are either con men or salesmen selling a product that doesn't exist.

I also love Stanley because as a person who will get distracted easily, he always will do that thing to make sure you're listening "Now listen to this"
"Say Amen if you're listening" that's something that I need and appreciate
Wonderful, Wonderful video! Charles Stanley, Tony Evans, and John Macarthur are three of my favorites as well.
Great list! I would have Pastor Chuck Smith at the top of mine. I love line by line studies. Can’t wait to meet him in Glory.
Charles Stanley is my all time favorite, great pick . His sermons have gotten my through some difficult times .
Dr. Stanley is old-school and LOVE it! No excuses. Here it is....
J Vernon McGee of Thru the Bible has helped me so much in being able to articulate my faith and share with it with others. I still try to listen every day, and I seem to learn something new every time.
John McArthur probably helped me the most as a young child, to understand faith in Jesus and how to live for Him.
McGee passed away in 1988 Love his method of preaching 👍🙏 God Bless you and your family 🙏
Yes! I thoroughly expected old J Vernon to be on his list! What a classic, a wonderful, funny, amazing man of God, who walked us through the Bible over and over and over again. It just never gets old, God shows me new truths every day.
Thanks will check him out
I enjoy listening to J Vernon McGees thru the Bible
David Jeremiah, and Jack Hibbs are my two favorite preachers now, but my first pastor, Rev. Bond P. Bowman at Brightmoor Tabernacle in Detroit MI is my all-time favorite.. He has been in Heaven for many, many years, but the impact he has had on my life continues to this day
My favorite teacher is Mike Winger. That is how I got hooked up to your teachings too. I work in a Christian based recovery program for Women and the ladies and I watch you all the time
Ruslan Kd too. You gentlemen are a blessing to us and you all keep it real.
same!
He's really gifted with explaining biblical text, he might be the most *accurate* teacher I've ever listened to :)
Mike has inspired me in many ways too! Great guy.
Yes! He really shows how to think Biblically, and now whenever my daughters ask me tough questions, I found that I could find an answer, doing the steps he teaches online. So grateful.
Mike Winger has been such a gift to me.
Not familiar with them all but they must have been great mentors, because you've stayed grounded, and true to the Bible, thx for that!
Yes Dr. Tony Evans is who i listen to he is awesome in bringing fourth the word. And he teaches in a way you understand.🙏🙌❤
My favorite preacher of all time is my husband, Rev. Quintrell Hollis. It’s amazing to have a front row seat in the life of a minister who lives out what he preaches. I’m blessed ti be his wife!
So so so so so beautiful!!!
You are Really Bless to have someone like that in your life
I totally agree with his whole list. i’m familiar with everybody except the last one. AMEN!!!
Yes, Pastor Charles Stanley is my best preacher of all time. His preaching is so practical.
Charles Stanley and Tony Evans have been on my list for many years. Another one that's been on my list is Alister Begg, out of Cleveland. His ministry is Truth For Life.
Hi! This was an awesome video, I was so surprised we had similar picks! Mine are:
1- Charles Stanley
2- Chuck Swindoll
3- David Jeremiah
Those first 3 move me to tears almost at the anticipation of the Word they’re about to teach…
4-Tony Evans
5- I tie Adrian Rogers with Billy Graham
*And an honorable mention of my previous pastor that is gone on to Glory is Pastor Anderson Culbreath and my present Pastor Kendall Logan is great too.
Dr Stanley is the first preacher the Lord led me to after being reborn again no lie. He is anointed by God.
E.L.!!
They are all good to listen to !
Do your research on Paul Washer.
Pastor Chuck Swindoll’s teaching of GOD’s word has impacted my life like no other human being has. He is truly one of GOD’s anointed.💯
Beautiful message about thanking God for these amazing people in your life.
Top 8, Dr Swindoll, Dr Tony Evans, Dr Jeremiah.
my favorite pastor and preacher is Jesus christ he teach me everything i need to know
He didnt say from the bible.. otherwise duh obviously it would be Jesus. But he he talking about normal ppl in your life
@@kaleesiking239 well spoken.

A fellow Savannahian 😊
I love that you included your childhood pastor! Let's never forget that churches don't need to be big or famous to change lives.
