@MarkWoltz love it! You either called or not. And Jesus said He have not lost one! And all that His Father gave Him, He kept and would raise them up in that day.
Yea, it took me years to realize that right division is a separation. The separating of what are and is promises contained in the covenants that God made with Israel. John as is Matthew, Mark and Luke the covenant teaches of Christ reminding them of God's love for them. At that time He gave his life a ransom for some, just them. They were saved by following and believing God's promises to them. But again, it took me years. It might take you years alot. But study and ask God to help you understand the word of truth. I noticed the book of Hebrews tells us when the NT testament started. When someone dies. Christ died but like today the testament which is the will of the deceased is not known until the document is made known. In our case it is Paul who gives us the will. He is the minister of the NT while Jesus is minister to the Jews only as he walked the earth in his body of flesh. Rom.15 [8] Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: 2Cor.5 [16] Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

@roshunepp interesting...what I got from His comment is him using scripture as he supposed to to remind the saints to make sure we are studying scripture for ourselves so that we know Christ personally; and so that we are familiar with His Word and His instructions for ourselves. Faith in Christ is more than going to church and thinking that's all there is to being a child of God. This is spiritually immature and an indication of a religious mindset (just going through the motions.... there's no heart commitment, conviction, knowledge or dediction behind what you6doing). A lot of Christians are under this impression, and think going to church, and listening to a sermon is the goal of being saved....and if we do are doing this God is somehow pleased with this bare minimum. As we grow in Christ we start to enter into spiritual warfare. How many Christian are witnessing, fasting, casting out demons, praying over ppl, etc. There's more to being saved than going to church if you're a follower of Christ. And if you are listening to someone preach/teach, how do you know if what they are speaking is actually God's truth or not if you are not reading His word over and over for yourself to be famimiar with it? They could be preaching phosophically, or according to their church tradition, or giving their personal opinion . How would you know or not if its presented charismatically? If you're not reading Scripture, and not becoming familiar with God's instructions for us, how would you know you' re being taught aright or not? I didn't find him pointing a finger at Parr, I found the Holy Spirit asking me where am I at....that's what I got

When it comes to deconstruction, from what I’ve seen and learned from the younger generation, they’re looking for something real. The gospel as we know is real, but most “Christian” households are nominal. Jesus often says in the gospels “you have heard it said… but I say to you…” I think similar to that notion, our children have heard one thing being preached but seen a very different orthopraxcy which can lead to questioning the validity of what they’ve been taught. I don’t have all the answers and am a new parent but my hope is that if we raise our kids up on solid rock like the house built on solid rock, we shouldn’t be too anxious when the waves come and test them. I think when we raise them up in nominalistic and traditional mindset that sometimes contradict the scriptures, we actually encourage their doubt as they seek to find existence of people living in a kingdom not of this world.
why do people not like to just follow Jesus. nothing else just follow Jesus. take everything you hear everything you see everything you experience to God in pray everything.
Allen claims here that he was “saved” at the early age of 8 years as a Baptist without knowing the Lord, or having any relationship with the Lord, and without ever reading the Bible. So, was Allen “saved” without “faith?” I’m just curious because he must be a special New Testament creature to be saved without faith in Christ Jesus. What does it really mean to be “saved?” Don’t forget that salvation according to Allen’s belief and teaching is by faith alone. He has also in several videos taught and promoted John Calvin’s false doctrine of “Once Saved Always Saved” while denying being Calvinist. Ironically, in his video titled “Free Grace Theology vs. Lordship Salvation” published in 2023, Allen makes it clear to his audience that “by simply repeating a few words when they were 8 years old but choosing to live their lives any way they want after is not good enough to get them to heaven.” So, how was Allen saved when he was 8 years old and remained saved before college? Since being saved after repeating those words cannot get them to heaven if they live their lives any way they want (perhaps sinfully), have they not lost their salvation? If they don’t get to heaven, have they not lost their salvation? Does anyone notice Allen’s contradictory theology here? Then he went to college (at what age please?) and joined another protestant church, started reading the Bible probably in his second college year, and realized as a college student (way before attending the seminary) that the church was a false church teaching false doctrines. Let me analyze this. The average age of a college freshman in the US is around 18 years old. Hypothetically, Allen got saved at age 8 and for the next 10 years without faith in Christ or knowing His word, and without having any relationship with Him, Allen was still saved. Right? Magically like Mike Gendron, once he picked up the Bible for the first time at age 19 or more, as a college student who never read the Bible before, he quickly figured out the truth and was able to discern that the very church through which he came to faith for the first time was teaching false doctrines. This to me makes some sense because it is a common characteristic of Protestantism and the protestant churches. Every man a pope with regard to interpretation, if you disagree go create your own church. A church is false not because it is devoid of truth, but because it lacks the fullness of it. Likewise, a teaching or doctrine may be false not because it is totally lacking in truth, but because it lacks the fullness of truth revealed to man for his salvation through Christ Jesus. Again, like Mike Gendron who claimed that he first read the Bible at the age of 35+ and blamed it on the Catholic Church, is Allen blaming his Baptist Christian parents or the Baptist church for not reading the Bible until college even after he was saved at age 8 as claimed? So, you left the undisclosed church and joined which church, or did you create yours? Did Jesus command us to build churches or to belong to the one He built himself? Allen probably now believes with all his heart that he has figured out the Bible and he’s completely teaching and equipping others with biblical truth. He is now a parent, and I agree with him that many “religious” or Christian parents do not know the truth from error, but does Allen agree with me that many parents too know the truth but choose to teach errors for reasons best known to them? For instance, those who teach that salvation is by faith alone and that “Once Saved Always Saved” are teaching errors. Does Allen teach any of these? You, be the judge. But James said, “You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone, 2:24.” Even unbelievers do good works not as evidence of their justification because they aren’t justified yet. And on the day Christ returns everyone will be rewarded according to their works or deeds. Rev. 22:12, Matt. 25:31-40, etc. As you equip unsuspecting Christians, remember James’ counsel, “Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness, 3:1.” It is spiritually unwise and unhealthy for anyone born outside the first 1500 years of Christianity to claim they have figured out or that the Holy Spirit has revealed to them the meaning of the written word of God that contradicts what THE SAME Spirit had revealed to the Church during the first 1500 years. God never contradicts himself. I hope Family Life forwards this message to their guest. God bless.
They're actually quite a lot of people with a similar testimony. A lot of people want to say well you don't see them suddenly on fire and doing all this stuff so then conversion might not have been real? What I have discovered is that many churches put a huge emphasis on getting people just to take a come forward and confess and put your faith and maybe even get baptized and then they don't have a plan for how to transition those young believers into knowledge of the bible. They throw them into an existing Sunday school with no real framework nor real discussion or training and I say that there has been a discipleship crisis in this country for 30 years. Discipleship is not just bringing somebody to profess Faith discipleship is then teaching them what the Bible says it comes after that decision
If you think “once saved always saved” is a false doctrine then you are the one in error sadly. If you believe a person once saved can lose their salvation then you have merely joined every other religion on planet earth. There is no difference between what you believe than Islam, Catholicism, Judaism, Jehovah’s Witness, Buddhism etc. I’m pretty sure you can’t see that but I will pray for you.

I consider this a false doctrine too. Please help me know better. Thanks in advance.
I wonder if Allen Parr stil holds to the theology " Once saved, always saved" which he has presented in earlier videos ? This theology is clearly unbiblical, so hopefully he has studied most of the at least 80 verses in the Bible which contradict this theology. It is so important for us believers to be aware of the truths of the Bible, and not let go astray into false doctrines. This theology has similarities with Calvinism and Islam. They both advocate the theory the Predestination, that God has already decided who shall be saved and not. That contradicts the Biblical truth that God wants that EVERYBODY shall be saved. He does not remove our free will when we are saved. So we still can decide to leave the faith and live a sinful life, even if we have been saved. He will give us several chances to repent. And if we do, He surely will forgive. If we decide to leave the faith, God cannot refuse our decision. He is both good and just and holy. We can refer to 1. Timothy 4,1 " Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teaching of demons". Let us hope Allen Parr has repented and embraced the Biblical teaching, as he has so many followers on his youtube channel. He has a lot of good teaching. We must beware, and examine that these youtube channels produce Biblical truths, only, and not let us go astray .
Why does he have to repent for eternal security? Whether you believe in you can lose your salvation or not, who is right. Two million says you can, and two million say you can't. Who's right? When both sides claim to have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. John 17: 3 said, "This is Eternal Life. That they may know You are the one and only true God. And know that You sent me." John 3: 5-7 does not say a man have to be born again and born again and born again. But one must be born again. One is a natural birth, and one is a spiritual birth. It does not say that once you lose your salvation, you have to be born again. You quoted 1 Timothy 4:1, which has nothing to do with Salvation, but what you believe. And cause you believe it does not mean you place your hope in Jesusthrough faithh. Judas, believe Jesus was the Christ. But judas never place his faith in Jesus for hope of eternal life. Judas never in heart made Jesus his Lord. Judas was there for the association and benefits. Matthew 7:21-23, Jesus speaks of those who have done work by His name. And Jesus tells them to depart from me, for I never knew you. For those to have an relationship with Jesus and Jesus to declare, i never knew you. That would make Christ a liar. And we both know Jesus can not lie or die. They never was Jesus. Just claimed to do things by Jesus or in Jesus names. I would love to reason with you about Salvation, that we both may have a clear understanding. As for me, I believe if anyone is of Christ their life must reflect His life. There must be the fruit of the Spirit of God. You either God's or not! And what is very important is that Jesus declare you as His own. For David said, He walks with me and talks with me and tell me that I am His own!
If a person can lose salvation then it is not really salvation is it? In Matthew when the Lord says depart from me I never knew you, He clearly says He NEVER knew them. It doesn’t say, I knew you for a while. you were following my commands but then you stopped and clearly you have more power with your disobedience than I do with my blood that was shed and then you lost it. There are verses that can seem contradictory but that’s only when people take them out of context. If a person “leaves” it’s because they were never true believers bought by the blood of Christ. The trouble is not with a person walking away. The trouble comes from never really knowing the Savior in the first place. When a person really gets saved, they don’t forever leave Jesus. You can’t, you are sealed. I’m going to believe my Jesus every time over man’s idea of what salvation is or isn’t. Pride seems to always step in somehow and make a person believe Jesus needs them to help save themselves. That’s nothing but pride right there. The entire book of Galatians along with a many many many other scriptures were written as a warning to let people know to never mix works with salvation. Jesus Christ did the work, paid the price, and completed what we needed in order to get saved and spend an eternity with Him. Now your growth in the Word comes from what the believer is willing to put into His faith. That’s why the thief in the cross was able to go to paradise immediately following his death. If it’s not about what Jesus did only then the thief on the cross would not have made it. God doesn’t say, well hey he didn’t have to do works but all of y’all reading this do. God is the same always. Scripture has to be taken as a whole and if you see verses that contradict one another it’s because it’s being read out of context and perhaps you’re not understanding.
You are incorrect. We must rightly divide the Word of Truth. When we believe 1 Cor 15:1-4 we are SAVED & SEALED. We cannot lose our salvation. Other scriptures support this truth. Churches that teach that you can lose salvation do so to keep people coming back $$$. Run away from such controlling churches.
He called some issues side issues versus essentials at a church. We use the term rib issues vs.spine issues. You can live without a rib but not your spine.
Are divorced men disqualified from being a pastor? If so, should we separate ourselves from those people since it could be viewed as someone over a congregation that's in open rebellion against God's commandments?
I have a problem with what you listed as the "non-negotiable" things someone has to believe to be a born-again believer. The Apostle Paul recited to the Corinthians the gospel he preached to them, which he told them, "which also you received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast [a]the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain." This list, contained three, possibly four items, and nothing more. They were as follows: 1) Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures. 2) He was buried. 3) He rose again, the third day, according to the Scriptures. 4) He was seen by many witnesses after His resurrection. Paul said by this gospel the Corinthians were saved. Later on, the Apostle John wrote: "Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God." So, on the basis of these two apostolic witnesses, how can anyone in good conscience, add requirements beyond these (such as the Trinity)? I am a trinitarian, btw, but when I preach the gospel, I preach the identity of Jesus of Nazareth as the Christ of God, and His death, burial and resurrection. That is what I understand to be the fundamental gospel. Everything beyond that is discipleship. How do you account for this? Thank you.
Even if we encourage our children to have doubts so that they can seek for the truth. Do we ever have a confirmation of what we know is the truth. If you notice the apostles didn't veer they didn't doubt what they believed. As a matter of fact they considered all others wrong who didn't believe as they did as they was ones who followed directly behind the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus told them to preach everything they have been taught. , and if they was taught by Jesus, Then everything that they talked was right
Brother Parr you should Listen to Robert Breaker, He would teach a few things about Truth. I never have to wonder where he is in The LORD because He lay what he Believe out on paper so that you can draw your own conclusions. But you. I don’t know where you stand in TRUTH.
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. ● John 6:37 NKJV - All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. ● John 6:44-45 NKJV - No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. ● John 14:6 NKJV - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. ● John 14:26 NKJV - But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. ● Ezekiel 11:19-21 NKJV - Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God. But as for those whose hearts follow the desire for their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord GOD. ● Isaiah 54:13-14 NKJV - All your children shall be taught by the LORD, And great shall be the peace of your children. In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you. ● Jeremiah 31:33-34 NKJV - But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more. ● Psalm 32:8 NKJV - I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. ● Psalm 94:12 NKJV - Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O LORD, And teach out of Your law, ● 2 Timothy 2:2 NKJV - And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. ● Hebrews 5:12 NKJV - For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. ● 1 John 2:27 NKJV - But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. Therefore may we be diligent to present ourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 STUDY DILIGENTLY NOT JUST BE DELIGENT - STUDY

The KJV says STUDY, not "be diligent". Study means study. What does "be diligent" mean?
@ assiduous, busy, industrious, sedulous.
I agree. Amen
Exactly
Soundly said. I agree
If you’re going to deconstruct your faith, there needs to be a plan to reconstruct 🙏
why do people not like to just follow Jesus. nothing else just follow Jesus. take everything you hear everything you see everything you experience to God in pray everything.
So what was the false teaching?? What's wrong with raising your hands???
@@cycloneh5157 I've been having a lot about that lately I don't know if your comment was directed at me. It's not that I don't believe in security I simply don't believe that it is in our hands
@@cycloneh5157 So nice of you praying for me, I appreciate it. That’s what believers ought to do for one another as far as I know. But your prayer for me will be more effective if you add a little work to it. That is, explaining to me why OSAS is not a false doctrine rather than presupposing the improbable. I pointed out that Allen was saved at the age of 8 years without "faith." Is it even possible by your analysis of his claim?
Do you also believe that salvation is by "faith alone?" I consider this a false doctrine too.
Agreed! I disagree with Allen Parr
on that its not biblical or supported in the bible.
I love Allen parrrr!
What are the false teachings and unbiblical things that the Baptist church teaches?
Many, many churches teach subsets of calvinism without even knowing it.
“I got saved at 8 years old but didn’t really know the Lord.”
(John 17:3)
Make it make sense.
I have a problem with what you listed as the "non-negotiable" things someone has to believe to be a born-again believer.
The Apostle Paul recited to the Corinthians the gospel he preached to them, which he told them, "which also you received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast [a]the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain."
This list, contained three, possibly four items, and nothing more. They were as follows:
1) Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures.
2) He was buried.
3) He rose again, the third day, according to the Scriptures.
4) He was seen by many witnesses after His resurrection.
Paul said by this gospel the Corinthians were saved.
Later on, the Apostle John wrote:
"Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God."
So, on the basis of these two apostolic witnesses, how can anyone in good conscience, add requirements beyond these (such as the Trinity)?
Jesus told them to preach everything they have been taught. , and if they was taught by Jesus, Then everything that they talked was right
You're right--the Word of God is the ultimate standard for truth, far more than our interpretations.

● Psalm 94:12 NKJV - Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O LORD, And teach out of Your law,
● 2 Timothy 2:2 NKJV - And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
