I loved this! thank you ladies. What an encouraging podcast, I just loved the discussion of God confidence vs. self-confidence and I can relate so much to what you both spoke of to this. Such a struggle for me to have confidence in myself as a woman, as a mother and wife even. Such a realization for me, that confidence has to come through God alone and what Jesus did for us, and can't rely on myself. Thanks Faith and Jennifer! 💕

I say this with love for the both of you, I’m blessed to see God use faithful, Godly mothers for ministry. But, none of us are essential to God, that is a very high view of humanity coming from Mrs. Parr that is totally against scripture
Some women have a gift from God surrounding birth. It doesn’t mean they’re idolizing. They shouldn’t be laughed at. Why do people mock women with this amazing gift? Staying pregnant for years in a row is not easy.
I agree! I do not intend to laugh at it but rather laugh at my own idolizing... it's silly what the human heart decides to cling to!
So often it's the women (like myself) who deal with infertility or secondary infertility who really make an idol of motherhood and birthing plans. (I had a very detailed plan.) I always thought I was going to have a house full of kids like the home I grew up in, and it wasn't until I realized that I'd made that an idol that I was ready to hear God's real plan for me.
