How do you'll get out of your photography ruts? Any Ideas?...
Great music in this vlog! The best camera is the camera you bring along. For me sticking a prime, perhaps the 35 (50 eq.) is the best way to refind the passion again. You'll be surprised about the spontaneous shots.

If I am on a downer, I try and just get out for a day, no defined plans and look to just enjoy the time on my own. I love being out on the coast and enjoy the tranquility of the beach with only the waves to break the silence
Yes i notice that all the time. I went out the other day with no plans and no idea. Put a smile on my face straight away and just reminded me why I LOVE doing this! Youre so right!!!
That was a great day out, landscape looks amazing!! I do always try to do something different every time I go to my favourite local location. Last time I did use a 10 stop ND filter during sunset, the end result was great!!
Wow!! Thats awesome. So true actually going back to the same locations but trying to shoot different compositions is ALWAYS important!
Super vlog and pics, Matt. Canyons and textures, unique formations and colors - despite mid-day lighting. To turn rut to a roll, I pick up less used gear and take another look at some “almost, but not quite there” images. Sometimes a YT vid will flash an image that inspires variations on a particular theme. A snack of donuts also helps 🍩😁.
Hahaha donuts ALWAYS help everybody! :) that is so true limitation and also freedom to shoot is super common to get people back on track!
I get in them ruts quite often for me, all it takes is a break and then I end up missing it eventually : )

I am sure that Egypt has a lot to offer , the desert with sand dunes, the canyons or the coast, but I am not sure if I would feel safe there ....

Thanks so much Libor! Really appreciate it :) you would feel safe there for sure. Everyone says that about these counteries but we also forgot how unsafe London, Paris and all these big cities are that we ALL visit around the world. I am back in Slovenia already so stay tuned :)
On tour you just have to take what you can get photography wise. I try and get out early before the tour takes off for the day or l go out in the evening for some night shots. One month before we head to Dubai, Britain and Portugal, just hope my little panasonic G7 can handle the night shots. Another great vlog Matt, always interesting.
