I really love the last image of the dunes - the sway of light swirling back and forth up the crest of the dunes dividing the sand into two equal but playful sides, carrying the eye upward into the photo as it should be. Thanks for another great vlog and please don’t stop saying “stunning” it’s just who you are.

The b/w photo of the dune at the end of the video is my favorite of all your photos. The ripples in the sand, the sharp lines and contrast. Beautiful!
I’ve loved the whole Namibia series and I was in this very spot last November so it brought back wonderful memories. I’m returning in a couple of weeks time and I’m now armed with all the tips you’ve given which have been invaluable. Thank you again for your insight and I look forward to many more videos.

Thanks, Thomas, for all the wonderful videos this past yr. encompassing extended effort and sometimes much travel to your photographic destination(s). They always make us feel like we are right there with you, almost helping you compose those magnificent shots we see from the warm cozy comfort of our living rooms, while you endure the often extreme temperature and climate extremes in pursuit of that ever elusive perfectly framed photo. One can only imagine the effort required in these desert locations presented here, all the while trying to keep sand out of your wind blown equipment. Very much enjoy your commentary on each and every photo shoot and your reverence for Mother Earth very much shines through as you capture another fleeting moment in time and then, share it with us all. A very Merry X'mas to you and your family as we look forward to your next adventure, wherever it might take you and us.
Its an art to make something which may not be so obvious into these incredible images. Thanks for all the videos you do simply incredible!!
For me the videos when you are "in the moment" and you talk about your pure awe of the sights you see are my favourites. You have the ability to take us with you with your passion for your subject and the detailed search for the perfect shot. Your talents go far beyond just knowing when and how to press the shutter. That last image was amazing, almost abstract femininity, it’s one of those images that should be printed as big as possible to almost entirely cove a wall.
That last dune shot was really awesome! I have to say as long as I have been watching your vlogs that shot is one of your absolute best of all time.

So so so helpful. Tomorrow I'm going to camp for 2 days in Jordan's wadi araba and I'm hoping to shoot similar photos of huge red sand dunes and some wide shots of many smaller white sand dunes that just dissappear in the distance. The information about the aperture was very helpful and the way you evaluate the landscape before shooting is incredible

Nice to hear your understanding of the desert. I live in the desert a few hours from Death Valley National Park and know it as an under appreciated wonder.
