Impressive footage, stills, and good advice about walking on sand, Matt. Link card referenced at about 1:02 min missing. When you signed up for the tour did you know that there would be no daily itinerary? I suppose winging it is part of the adventure, but one of the risks also. With tourism at a low, I would expect guides to make an extra effort to please. Memories are made of this. Perhaps the next XT model will sport IBIS. Cheers.
Thanks so much Paul! I didn't know any itinerary because no one really speaks English and also in Egypt no one really goes but time or anything hahaha they just wing it. Many ways it didn't bother me at all, but then realizing how beautiful the place is I could have photographed everywhere! I doubt the XT series will have IBIS due to the XH series. We will have out fingers crossed!
Hello Matt, we all do learn from our mistakes, ... and just move forward. Don't dwell on the past, just think the potential you will have in the future. Also nothing is perfect in our lives, so keep your head up and good luck in your next "voyage"

Exactly, this is true nothing is perfect and we wouldn't know if we didn't try it! I will be back in Slovenia in no time at all. Spring is starting so that means it the most beautiful time! :D

The guide was provided through the company that we booked the travel with! You can read all that in our blog which is in the description of the video. How we afford to travel is by working hard, saving our money and then doing the things that we love to do!

I really love filming other people it allows me to relax and visualize shots better which I think in this video has helped me a lot to show people. Felt your frustration there Matt as I know how much work you put into getting your images and then all the other stuff that goes into getting your content out. Hopefully you got to enjoy the break and get that battery recharged. You taking a hiatus as wasnt sure by your closing comments if thats what you were meaning
Nope this will not be keeping me away it just trying to find ways around that :) frusterating yes but this motivation you need sometimes to get out there and capture those "perfect" images.
Sorry to hear the bad news Matt, enjoy your holiday anyway. There is always something likely to go wrong on tour you just have to roll with it and move on as we know you will. It could have been worse those tour guys could have beaten you up, stole your gear and left you out in the sticks.

@@matthewstorerphotography yer, Matt its great to hear your still smiling, it costs so much to travel so every minute is so important. Immerse yourself in the culture and you will have great memories. We went to Europe a couple of years ago and toured with a group of Aussies, most were good travel companions but a couple of woman hated the tour (which was terrific by the way) towards the end they refused to get out of the bus because they had to walk about 300 metres to the Pont Du Gard, a huge roman aquaduct and museum, crazy!!! Take your time with the next vlog we can wait, Subscriptions are creeping up too l see.
