I seriously don't get it, how do you not have thousands of subscribers? I had to search for you because a video I saw on Facebook didn't give you any credit or link your website or RUclips. It was on the screen so finely I could hardly read it but I found your website and was hoping you had a RUclips page and I am blown away and I hope that others come here. But I think if pages sharing your videos had your link more would end up here. However, I just had to find you. I have a feeling you aren't the kind of person who does this because you need followers, but I wish they would come because I feel like people would benefit from seeing your videos. I am hooked! Keep up the great work! 😊

YES to this women! She's so right, I used to be so guilty for saying no to people. Fearing they wouldn't like me or think I was being mean or rude; cause I wanna save face; but Kristina is right, our mental health is important! People love to glorify being busy, like "oh I have a life, oh I'm a working women, an independent women, I don't need anyone/a man" or shaming people for having time to relax or enjoy their own time. We only live once; got to enjoy our time and sometimes, wanting peace for yourself, it's pure joy! People finding the need to be out 16hr a day working and not enjoying life; and that being the NORM is why corp/jobs abuse us, we've become work sheep; and our "pride" keeps us underpaid and overstressed!

    • @athomewithnika6459

AyaneSensei sooooo true. I have graduated from the best universities in my country, with really good grades. But I have chosen a life of a stay at home mom, because I cannot handle more, maybe I am weak, but I don't want to be busy ALL THE TIME. And in my society, it feels so emabarassing to say that I don't work. Hell no! I do work, I don't stop. My house,my kids, hubby, ME!! are my priorities. Kristina made me feel sooooo good❤️

    • @brynne77
      @brynne77 6 лет назад

I think sometimes too, if some people stay busy 'all the time' and claim that they LIKE that lifestyle that they're trying to run from something, trying not to think about certain things. I don't understand or particularly like people who chose to be busy 'all the time'. I certainly like my down-time, too!

    • @brynne77

I think people have more respect for you too, if you say no sometimes and don't try to do things for everyone to get everyone to like you.

Maybe she said 'no' to a TV show? :) Just kidding . I agree, I wouldn't mind at all seeing her on a show. I think more women/people need to watch these, especially about how to raise kids and keep them from turning into spoiled brats.

I did it ! Said "No" yesterday. I'm on a committee and was asked to move to an officer position next year. I started with "No thank you" ended firmly with No I'm not taking on more. It felt incredible not to be pushed or do 'what is expected'.
Being me is more important than being liked.
    Thanks for the reminder !

Right. You can literally lose friends this way by not continuing to agree to always be there if they need you, but if you lose them, they weren't your friends to begin with. You/anyone needs to love themselves enough to be able to say 'no' when they need to. @rocky mountain lass

I said No earlier this week. It took me three days to think about it, but in the end I knew I could not stretch myself that far and said No... in a kind way, of course. My world did not end, I was not struck dead, but rather felt empowered. It still feels good. Thank you for sharing!

The first one I seen was on Facebook about not settling, and loved it!!! Although, I am not divorced I totally agreed with you 100% about everything you said on it! AND I am struggling with saying "No" too. Everyone comes to me with EVERYTHING, because I am the easy going kind of person! NO MORE THOUGH! Thank you for helping me learn to say NO!

I often say yes but also say no often too. If I can do it I'll do it, if not I won't. It took me years of always saying yes before I learned to say no and man that no felt good :D The "friends" that didn't like my no departed from my circle and I now have only true friends. No is the best word I ever learned, it helped me learn who my real friends were. You are awesome :D

ha ha ha! you are so funny! i love your videos. this one reminded me of how many times i thought about people giving me guilt trips, etc. whenever i said "no" to them. a lot of them are the same parents who tell their children, "just say 'no' to drugs," and i would say to them, "see...just say 'no' doesn't really work, now does it?" they just look at me with incomprehension and i laugh because what else can it do? lol

First time ever, rather than pussyfoot around, I said I had heard of it but wouldn't be buying it because I don't agree with the MLM business model, regardless of how amazing the product is. She avoided me today. Felt fantastic!

So ya think "no" feels wonderful? Hon, there is an even better moment that life is going to gift you. Mine came out of the blue ...it was shocking ....unbelievable ... dare I say liberating. Years ago when my sons were in their teens one of them yelled the daily question "Mom, do I have any clean socks?" I would always reply "Yes" and would bellow detailed instructions like "Left of you tees in ...." you know what I am talking about. Then one day I answered "No" and I truly didn't know! I felt I failed my sons until a few days later I realized they stopped asking and still had socks on !!!!! It was my first step towards that empty nest and I was feeling victorious and fine. So you go girl enjoy every minute.

I’m always in this situation and always say yes most of the time it’s looking after after people’s children or doing their school for them, while never ever having a babysitter for my own 3 children and already doing school and nursery runs for my own, it’s wearing me down and I feel like I can’t say no 😭😭
