Christopher Walken is THE MAN.

The way he says "I don't want to" Is perfect, it sounds like a little kid who's being forced to go somewhere or do something.. perfect
Like sharing his toys 😂😂
When you get older, you begin to care less
Well described. I agree, I love it. I can't imagine a better reading of that line.
Almost like it was written in a script. Omg fucking brilliant!
@@BrownTrout1238
there is a difference between simply having a line in a script and delivering it. This line was delivered perfectly
Fun Fact: Walken wasn’t supposed to be in this, he just wandered on set and no one was brave enough to tell him to leave.
He made this movie..No matter what film he is in...Better than DeNiro
I genuinely think there is a good chance this is not a joke and this is true
Just FYI, "wonder" and "wander" are two different words. Here, you should have used "wandered".
no im sure they did ask him to leave he just say No
" Hey Christopher... you're not in the film... can you leave? "
" I don't want to "
" But... you're not in the film... "
" Well too bad.. "
watching this with zero context has to be the best thing that’s ever happened
I saw this somewhere else and I had to see the whole scene. And im still confused
@@rainbowcloudss_ I know, I watched it knowing what Walken's character is all about and it's still so weird but perfect for this movie it's so bizarre.
I never seen this movie and it's already hilarious 🤣
I first saw this as a Fallout meme... worth every second.
@@EQOAnostalgia same 😂
The way he pronounced "no" at the start is just, pure gold.
And, for me, it was how he said, "too bad".
I also love when he says "I don't want to." It reminds me of a kid who doesn't want to go to his first day of school.
DUDE I was thinking the same but thought peopke probably don't notice such small details and the I saw your comment and was like YES SOMEONE ELSE NOTICE IT TOO.
I like the way he says No the second time.
Walken's delivery is one of a kind.
I like how the guy with the gun just sounds genuinely disappointed when he says “no” to putting his hands up.
Especially his "Why not?" It's not even aggressive, just truly curious
@@Onigirli Yeah he's just plain confused. "That's not how this works!"
I like to believe this is what would happen if Walken got mugged in real life.
Positively Dreadful he would have handled a mugger differently.....different situations call for different methods
@@Blackkey034 no
901st like. Show me some respect!

Lmaoooo facts😂😂😂😂
💀
Too bad *giggle
Pretty sure that was the point. Wow are people that dense?
Aggree
I like to pretend he was improvising and the other actor was really confused.
Reminds me of when Walken carried that watch up his ass in a POW camp for years. They called him Private Incontinentia.

I never analyzed that seen when i watched the movie. Thanks for suggesting bigus dickus
Christopher walkem in true romance
FSEVENMAN Wow, that's some hardcore gratuitous hostility. Are you ok mate? Do you you need to talk to someone?
Pafik Thanks for wasting 4 minutes of my life for 1 decent joke at the end of the video.
Fun fact: If someone's pointing a gun at you and you tell them "no" they legally cannot shoot you
“How to Stop Muggings with this ONE SIMPLE TRICK!”
Make a video and demonstrate that for us. We want to see the proof!
I dont think any regular citizen can legally shoot someone outside of self defense, no matter if they say no, yes, or “Go F yourself!”
@@seamusoreilly804 this is a comment on a video that demonstrates the exact thing you are asking for. there is no reason for me to make the video.
@@bigjoegrizzly5935 Technically, in some jurisdictions, simply illegal trespass is sufficient. And for some of those, it extends to your vehicle. So simply attempting to force their way into your vehicle, EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT INSIDE and not in danger, you can start blasting. Louisiana is an example of this.
I like how in the beginning he was walken
This comment is underrated xD
Lol
And later, he Walken again.
Christopher Reeves wanted to be him at one point
You did not jus say that😂😂
i like how the gunman gets frustrated, confused and disappointed all at the same Christopher Walken is a National Treasure 😂
It's called frusfuseappointed. A feeling people get when Christopher Walken randomly walks in on a set
His day was completely ruined.
No, that would be Nicholas Cage.
The gunman's acting is great here too
walken is part of the matrix , treasure really your clearly retarded
"I don't want to.' Reasons why Walken is a badass!!
Escape2Muszik he's an aries, "does as he pleases" mantra if you don't like it "too bad"
Escape2Muszik no other actor could pull off this scene, Walken is perfect
Robin Scott Although Walken is enjoyable, Morgan Freeman could also pull this off. Just picture it.
+IMNOTSANEPRODUCTS I just do see him having the kind of carefree playfulness that Walken had here, and IMO thats what made this scene so good.
+canh nguyen I agree. I think Walken was a perfect choice especially for this particular scene.
"It doesn't make any sense" - Brilliant
"Too bad"
"Well... Where are your friends"

This was a pretty sad scene.. from what I recall, Walken was broken up about something (don't want to ruin it for someone that hasn't seen the movie) and really didn't care if he lived or died. Excellent movie.
What movie is this?
@@supertuesday600 Seven Psychopaths
His age? I mean it's pretty common, relatively speaking, that every so often an elderly person just won't cooperate with some criminal with a gun.
Pow!
@@Seven_Leaf lol na it wasn't his age it had something else to do with the plot of the movie
He’s not acting. He’s delivering the lines however the hell he wants. And that’s just fine.
DIRECTOR: Deliver the lines properly!
WALKEN: No...
DIRECTOR: What?
WALKEN: I said no.
DIRECTOR: Why not?
WALKEN: I don't want to.
DIRECTOR: But we're paying you.
WALKEN: I don't care.
DIRECTOR: That doesn't make any sense!
WALKEN: Too bad!
That's a form of acting.
@@waltonsimons12
And so his career goes.
@@kayleighbrown459lol, no. Dude is old and had a stellar career already.
The way he just said "shoot me then" was so perfectly done
He's not wrong though, most of the time if somebody is pointing a weapon at you, they're not going to pull the trigger. If they were going to pull the trigger they would have already done so. The trick is being crazy enough to not actually care, or at least for them to believe that you don't.
It definitely confuses people like that if you're like no fucks are given here good sir.
fighting a bandit while being a high level in skyrim
I actually met one who, by glitch, did not turn hostile. The bodies of his comrades all around, he simply went, "Hmm?" and walked away. Good of him. Do normal bandits think I don't have places to go, things to do? Some days it's like, I'm tired. I wanna go home and go to bed for the night. Do I really have to take time out of my day to deal with this?
tailuigi those bandits were right not to attack you, good for them
tailuigi "Hey look! That guy just killed a dragon and devoured it's soul! Let's mug 'em!"
They really should have programmed enemies with "combat priorities." There is nothing more absurd than getting in a scuffle with a lone mage when a dragon comes down and BOTH are attacking me as if the mage couldn't give less of a crap about the dragon.
judah baez iv just started playing skyrim two weeks ago,im 26,what have I been doing with my life, its a new kind of love.

But no
Yeaaahhhh who's gonna tell em

I can't believe you posted this scene. This is just what I was looking for. I just got done watching this movie and went back and watched this scene over and over again. One of the greatest scenes in cinematic history ever. No one could have pulled this off other than Christopher Walken.

@RUhere4the TRIGGERING, Jesus Christ, it's a joke dude. I agree that there's a lot of dumb fucks who believe fake stats put out about guns though. Especially when they have to include suicides just to inflate the numbers to appear menacing.
Christopher Walken's "fuck it, I'm done" energy here is legendary.
I keep playing this scene over and over again.
No EFX, no pyrotechnics, no touchy-feely dialogue.
Just good solid writing, casting, directing and camera work.
The key ingredients for a great scene.
Me too. Everything CW does has that unique touch of genius. That keeps me coming back to this scene.

I have a theory that Walken is always an immortal quasi-vampiric badass who comes back as a different Walken everytime he dies. Here it shows, it's gotten to the point that the thought of being slain/killed doesn't phase him.
@Willem DaFuckedUp what's cringy is replying to a 5 year old comment when you know the op won't be able to respond, pussy boy.
Considering his persona never really changes that makes sense. He's just treating life like we do a video game.

Yes
This should go down as "The Hans moment," when you have reached the apex of your own personal evolution.
I stumbled across this movie by accident a few years ago, looking for a horror film.
My oh my what a pleasant surprise. I laughed my butt off for nearly the whole movie. Such a fun and delightful visit to psycho-town.
And since they're psychopaths, it's nearly impossible to anticipate their next moves. But it all makes sense after the fact. Kind of.
Very under-rated movie. I don't hear people talk about this ever.
I picked up this DVD on random in a DVD re-sell store (remember when that was a thing) and damn I had the same reaction. It was a hidden gem.
The way says "Why not?" sounds like he's genuinely fascinated to learn why. Like Walken's response to a gun in his face is so unique that for just a moment, he was too interested to be mad.
Even more, he sounds so genuinely upset and let down that he won't listen That he completely forgets he's some hardened border patrol operative/ criminal And not being taken seriously That he's pretty much the one getting intimidated
This move is quite overlooked and underrated
Can you put into words what makes it good? I love this movie but everytime I watch it i feel like the dialogue is objectively bad at times.... but I still love those parts all the same
@@vaughnordakowski8774 its a long time I've seen it so I can't really do that, ive have to watch it again

This made me laugh out loud.
Roger Ebert once reviewed a movie and said this, "... Harry Dean Stanton guarantees a movie will at least be interesting." I feel the same way about Christopher Walken.
This may be the most perfect, archetypal Walken scene ever. All Pure Walken, distilled into this short clip.
Such a Badass!

'Put your hands up'. 'No'. It wasn't Christopher Walken doing a character in a movie, it was a character in a movie doing Christopher Walken. Freaking amazing.

The best scene EVERRRR
probably my favorite walken moment in any of his movies! second only to "it ain't ovah... BEAARS~!
For the first 20 seconds, he's just doing what he does best: Walken.
Best scene in the entire movie.
the "I don't want to" is perfect with how slightly whiny it sounds but the "I don't care" underrated how blatantly nonchalant it sounds and the "too bad" honestly this entire scene is Cinema *_PERFECTION._*
This is one of my top 5 favorite movies. Even the soundtrack is perfect. And this is classic Christopher Walken. Love it.
It's been a long, long time since Christopher Walken wasn't simply playing Christopher Walken in whatever role he's in.
Funny thing is, where as that would become tiresome schtick with any other actor no matter how good they may have once been (ex: Al Pacino), with Christopher Walken it still always works and is very arguably the strongest possible character choice he could have made.
This scene always cracks me up. I just love it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You know, Walken (rightly) gets a lot of praise for this scene, but it wouldn't work anywhere near as well if "the other guy" (Zeljko Ivanek playing Paulo) wasn't great too. Look at all his little motions of confusion, the way he looks back at his guys, how he moves the gun when he says "But I've got a gun". He really sells it.
I am SO in love with Christopher Walken!
god I love Christopher walken both in general but most especially in this movie
One of the best actors, EVER! NO? YES!💙
One of my favorite exchanges in any movie ever.
Christopher Walken is THE MAN. - That movie was great !
"No, I don't know." - he just sounds so gentle.
To provide a bit of context for those who haven’t seen it: SPOILERS
Walken’s character has a pretty strong death wish because the villains already murdered his wife. He wants to die, but also wants to hurt the mobsters as much as possible on his way out AND stall them to save his friends. That’s why he acts like this. Not to say Christopher Walken wouldn’t respond like this anyways, but the character is a bit more grounded.
I’m so glad I had the pleasure of seeing this movie in theaters.
Such a great movie. This is one of my favorite scenes in it. Chris Walken was essential for this part.
