I agree and not at the same time, because it sounds very digital. Haven't founds a soft that sounds organic without that ugly digital grit. It's like a slag under grinding machine. It's very noticeable in all software distortions. A state amp is way better.
I've said it before and I will say it again A.I. is the future. I see a time when they will be able to replicate iconic guitar tones just by analyzing a track say comfortably numb then boom you will have the exact sound at your fingertips.Repeat this and you will have a sound bank full of the most iconic guitar tones in history.
It’s fun for sure for people like me who play a ton of a different stuff, but I also feel like everybody is gonna sound the same. It’s like there are no original iconic tones any more cause it’s all been done and we are just copying it at this point

Its not at all, iam very disapontet about this pedal as it has no delay and the presets you download you have to make your own adjustments not plug nplay like the kemper

Is this mic'd from a pair of powered flat response cabs, straight into a Focusrite or other interface likely to be used by someone purchasing a $400 modeling unit or some sort of studio grade $2000 interface? To me the mid to high gain sounds are really strong with lots of texture, character and harmonics. The cleaner examples sound nice and taw and pure but maybe lacking a little in warmth. For $400 the lack of delay doesn't surprise or bother me and I agree with others who guess there might be a larger footprint, more $, more features floor unit in future if this one takes off like it should

Nah actually plenty of us don’t care for delay lol. Most of my favorite guitarists don’t use any. Marcus king, derek trucks, Dylan Adams, Tobias Hoffman etc.

TONEX Pedal loads TONEX Tone Models, it will not load AmpliTube models. You can use TONEX Tone Models inside AmpliTube 5 software on your computer, though.
Does this pedal already have selections of presets of those captured amp/cab sounds in it? Or do we have to connect it to a PC & load those sounds into the ToneX pedal? My apology for a stupid question. I am totally new to IK Multimedia's stuff...🙏🙏🙏

Because I play with headphones most of the time I would need the FX loop to connect my reverb and delay pedal. An Aux In would also be great so I could play to backing tracks...

The best captures are to be found on Tonenet.
Kemper had enough time to get sales. This thing rapes the qc in shreds. Qc had no time to get a foothold in the market then ik comes in with this.

This will sit well on your pedalboard where you can put a nice delay (like X-TIME) after it.
People are looking for an all in one unit. All this needs is delay and I'd be a buyer. Until then I wait for the AmpX

150 presets preloaded. Can be exchanged with new from user upload (already tons available) or your own profiled amps and cabinets

You would put a delay pedal after TONEX Pedal on your pedalboard. There is no need for an FX loop.
