its sad to say that I've owned a Tonex pedal and Amplitube for almost six months and just learned more about both of them in the 29 minutes it took to watch your vid. Great break down and explantion of the software, thank you!
Perhaps the most intuitive walkthrough video on RUclips on ToneX. I learned more after watching this video then what I’ve learned in one month. Thank you!!!
IK…you need a SERIOUS overhaul on all of this. Tonex is far and away the most confusing unorthodox user interface I’ve ever used. It’s the only thing that keeps me from using it more. I had ZERO clue the only way to use multiple vendors signal chains ( stomp from vendor A and an amp from venor B) was that it had to be IN amplitube…simple things like that are just so cumbersome. I’ve been in the digital world for well over a decade, and have never worked with such a confusing interface.
Love that plate reverb!!! I have tried the Tonex CS version, & it is awesome. I’m going to get the pedal version since it also comes with the full version on the software. Can’t wait to get it!
I have a suggestion, if someone like me only has the basic version because i know nothing about this, can you PLEASE show how to get into each area? I only have one amp in mine but how do you see the right hand panel with all the packages? Does that only display if you buy them? What about demo's or where to choose the amps?
OK so I use both amp modeling and guitar modeling when playing out and recording...I have been using a BOSS SY 1000 to do this playing in the cover band I am in, and it sounds just OK to me...I use guitar modeling because I need the capability on some songs to switch to alternate tunings, acoustic guitar tones, etc...I have also experimented patching in an amp through the aux in and out, and it works, but it is just not an on the fly solution...but this, with it's midi capability, I could connect it midi, and have that great tone, and then still have all the effects that the SY 1000 offers....hmmm....probably going to get one....
Thanks for sharing that Cameron preset, I found it and it’s now my fav amp! However, I wanted to learn how to share Tonex amps with AmpliTube on iPhone and this is completely different.
Could you please explain how to take an Amplitube preset and add it to the ToneX pedal? I can only find how to do this through the ToneX app, not amplitube. Ideally, I'd like to take some of the signal chains in Amplitube MAX and add them to the ToneX pedal.

As I understand you just can't upload the pedals from Amplitube to Tonex Pedal... but is it possible to transfer the whole preset from Amplitube (all signal chain with overdrives, amp, cabs, delay, etc.) to Tonex Pedal? It would work as a capture of the virtual tone just like the real one by capturing procedure....
What is the quickest way to switch between presets or even pedals using amplitube? Like if you are playing live and don't want to click with your hand to turn off the pedal or change the sound without missing a beat?

@OfficialPerfectoDeCastro Hey thank you so much. Sorry for the many questions. On Tonex, I have been saving presets, but I don't chorus pedal effects. I am still trying to figure how can I input the presets in amplitube .
The main problem of all modelers like this is latency. Imagine sending it to the FOH main mixer through a 50 meter xlr and then sending it back to you from their monitor out. My question, how's the latency sir especially doing solos?
That’s great stuff, but why capture a cabinet as part of a amp tone capture if you are just going to replace it with an Amplitube cab? From a different perspective, considering that Amplitube offers so much flexibility in tweaking it’s cab parameters, why even bother capturing a personal cab that is going to be non-tweakable? I’m sure that you have a great reason that I am not aware of. Regardless, that was a very informative video. Thanks
I messed up the mic placement and was gonna redo the capture, but since ToneX can separate the amp and cab I decided to feature that so people don’t get intimidated by the Tone Capture process
Okay but how does it sound nowhere near the same when I use ToneX? The quality is literally night and day and it's the same with any other plugin out there. I watch youtube videos, they all sound amazing, but when I use them they sound super fizzy and digital. Any ideas?
@@OfficialPerfectoDeCastro So my setup is as follows: I am using a PRS Tremonti SE with Seymour Duncan pickups into a Focusrite Scarlet Solo. As headphones I am using the Sennheise HD558. I have a pretty powerful PC as well to handle the processing load on the CPU.
