I would try to see the La Brea Tar Pits as it is a great park for older children and adults alike. Can see fossilized remains of unfortunate pre-historic animals that fell into the tar ponds. You can see the ponds that still ooze tar to this day (don't worry the ponds are fenced).
I remember seeing that place on that volcano movie years ago, seems like a nice place to go as well 😉👍 thanks for the additional tip

Thanks! Sorry I just didn't think it matters where to stay at, but we stay at the Ramada by Wyndham in Culver City, it was nothing special, just a decent price, a bit far from the attractions though and it was just an average place
