I've lived in LA my whole life, but I always learn something new about the city when I watch a video by folks from someplace else. LA is a constantly changing city. There is so much more to do when you guys come back.
Great video. And really shows how you have to plan your day. My rule is you can do three things in a day and minus food, you did pretty good. So many perks think they can do more but your day goes really fast. Good call on the sunsets. I would just avoid some areas after dark, including Venice Beach and Olvera street
Great videos guys. My gf and I are going to Vienna and Prague next month and found your videos very helpful. I am an LA native and I would recommend you try some good taco and fried chicken spots. Also, check out the free Getty museums and the see the space shuttle in downtown.
Thanks for watching and sharing a few more things to do in LA. Next time we are there we'll try to check those things out! There is so much to do in LA which means you can't be bored if you visit, but it also means you have to miss out on something.
I guess Im randomly asking but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot my password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
This was one of the most helpful LA 'things to do' I've come across. We're NZrs heading that way next week and will definitely be using your vlog suggestions. Thank you!
Enjoyed this video in prep for our upcoming "post" COVID trip to LA. Are you still making travel videos? Anyway, enjoyed this one a lot, thanks for making and sharing it.
These are some solid recommendations, the only thing I'd add is most of the locations are easily accessible via the LA Metro public transit system. DTLA itself is very walkable.
Thanks for watching and the suggestion! Great feedback and we will try to include more prices in our future videos. I will say this about LA, alot of the things we did are actually free to do (Broad Museum, Runyon Canyon, Olvera St, Santa Monica Beach etc...) we really just spent our money on food when we were there and if you drive a car when you are there you can choose food options that suit your budget. I will say that the trendy restaurants will be pricey, but
Thank you for the great question. We personally decided to rent a car when we visited LA. We usually prefer to use public transit when we travel but for LA there were three reasons why we went with a rental car. 1) we found that based on the things we wanted to do a car would be helpful. 2) we found it hard to find an affordable place that we liked which was also close to transit. 3) we were in San Diego and renting a car doubled as our method of transportation from San Diego to LA. We hope this helps!
Thanks for the feedback and we completely agree! There is so much to do in LA and we wished that we had more time. I guess it just means we have to come back some time!
Does anybody know exactly where the A-frame restaurant is? I've been searching on google and it didn't come up, btw Great video! Thanks for such great content guys
Hi thanks for the question, I did a quick search and it looks like it has been closed down since we last visited. That is unfortunate since we had a great time there
Rather than Venice or Santa Monica take the day and drive out to Disneyland for the day and in the evening drive to Knott's Berry Farm for the chicken dinner.
@@DomanationTravels Because they are close together you could do Disneyland in the day and have dinner at Knot's. Just check how late they serve dinner till.
Thanks for your question. We stayed at an Airbnb near Koreatown which worked out ok location wise and it was affordable. Staying further west near Santa Monica or other nearby areas would have been interesting but I think that will be more expensive. I can't remember too much where else we looked but hopefully you are able to find something great for your trip.
Thanks for the suggestion! It just happened that an event was wrapping up so the theater was blocked off to the public when we stopped by but we will make note to spend more time next time!
Perhaps it’s mentioned in the video, but a RENTAL CAR is a must. Unlike cities like London, Paris, or New York, etc Los Angeles’ public transportation system is VERY limited. The only addition I’d include might be suggestions on parking, which can get pricey. Or, if you’re taking the subway downtown, what station you got off at, etc. Otherwise, GREAT video.
Not mentioned, but would also recommend the Warner Bros Studio Tour if you want to “experience Hollywood.” Unlike Universal Studios, Warner Bros is a real hands on, back stage tour of what a studio looks like. Yes, Universal offers some rides and shows (with the exception of the Harry Potter themed area, everything else was kind of “meh”). Warner Bros is better experience if you really want to see a working Hollywood Studio.
Thanks for watching! There were a couple days where you could see the smog but overall it was better than we feared. Maybe because we were there in December.
OUT OF THE 64 VIDEOS IVE WATCHED, THIS IS THE BEST ONE!
Thank you so much. We're glad you like our video and we're humbled you think it is the best you've seen on LA!
AGREED👍

Thanks for the feedback. LA is packed with so many different things that we found it is impossible to do everything!
That's the best guide to LA, which I came across. Great job!

That sounds pretty awesome! You guys are pretty Lucky!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful vacation days.
No problem! Thank you for your kind words.

Next time you’re in town definitely go to Pasadena
Thanks for the suggestion! We'll try!
413dan is it better to stay there in December, rather than Santa Monica? Thanks 😃
I love Animals I love Animals I think it would be because Pasadena is closer to the mountains hence it’s warmer than the coast.
413dan Thankyou! Great tip 🙌🏻 Is Pasadena nice?
I love Animals I love Animals I think it’s very nice 👍 highly recommended
great video, can u guys also add price and expenses next time too.just curious since everyone say its expensive in la

oops, clicked send before finishing - I was going to say that the trendy restaurants will be pricy but there are affordable options too!

Your Welcome
Hello! Did you guys travel by rental car or LA's public transport? :) Thank you!
LA is not a place for public transport you will need a rental car to go wherever you are trying to visit.
Subbed!!!✅👍🏼
Awesome, Thank you for your support!
Domanation Travels Anytime!!!🤗
wow i saw many thing to buy for souviner
Absolutely!
LA local here. You need more than 3 days here.

Rather than just glimpse The Chinese theater you should have visited to look at the footprints in the cement.
Thanks for the suggestion! It just happened that an event was wrapping up so the theater was blocked off to the public when we stopped by but we will make note to spend more time next time!
Where did both of you stayed in LA? Which area?
Hi, Thanks for the question. We stayed at a place through Airbnb near Koreatown. The location was fairly central for our itinerary!
I love my city ❤️

Oh Thank You Lol

I watched another video about what to do in LA and it was basically identical to yours , weird

So much smog
Thanks for watching! There were a couple days where you could see the smog but overall it was better than we feared. Maybe because we were there in December.
3:00 "The beautiful view of the sunset..." I don't know what kind of glasses you were wearing but all I see is a cloud of pollution lol
Its smog
Did you spend any of your time with the homeless druggies?
I like both of your teeth
All the "beautiful" views are obscured by smog. I lived in a suburb of Los Angeles most of my life. Northern California is much better.
I hate those stupid selfie sticks.
Dominic is so hot I'm really sad he's married :-(
