Been to LA about 8 times and it’s a fantastic city. Like any place it has it’s bad sides but it has so much to offer and do. Probably for most tourists it’s biggest drawback is how vast and spread out It is when you include the greater LA area. Definitely need access to a car to truly enjoy.
Visited only for 2 nights but hope to go back.
I’m going to LA next month
I loved this! Thank you so much. I smiled the entire time! I can't wait to visit.
You changed my perception of LA in a big way. Great quality video and commentary. Your sincerity comes shining through.
I appreciate that!
Thanks so much I’m also planning a trip to Los Angeles later this month and this helped out so much👍🏻
Awesome! Perfect timing for our Family trip this coming March from Sydney, Australia ❤️

I'm going to California for the first time in April! So excited and cannot wait to check out some of the places in this video! Hoping to one day move there! Had enough of the miserable British weather!
Make sure you get a car. If you want the best Mexican food in LA go to El Tepeyac in East LA. There is nothing to see around it and it’s in the hood but everyone goes there because the food is soooo good.
you are a life saver, i need this. thank you so much for the useful info
That was fun and educational!! Thank you
Great video! I’m planning a trip in October. Looking forward to seeing the sites you recommend!

Appreciate that!!
Thank you! Your Chanel such a comfort for me. I’m planning to move here in 1.5 if everything goes at best, but you never know. I’m happy so that you show the good, the bad and ugly in your channel. I mean this video is very helpful, because, first i wanna see what everyone can unlock. I do wanna move because of the great outdoors, and good weather, and this is perfect for me to start exploring while i cant be there physically. Thank u again
Awesome!
Great List! Only missing a yacht charter to explore that beautiful coastline on ;)
This seems to be a very interesting and fun place, I hope to be there someday. Sharing and experience places like that is why I also love making videos. Keep up the good job! Subscribed!!

This is so helpful for hosting family from out of town. 😂love your commentary and the photo op identifying 📸
Nice vídeo bro! a big hug from Brazil.
Thanks will be needing this video
Planning to spend a few days sightseeing in LA after the holidays. Thank you. 😊
This video is gorgeous exactly like you are ☺️☺️ May I add two places that as a tourist I might say… must ?
1) The Bowl. You can book a concert at the bowl via their app. and have a picnic before the concert bringing food from home ( wine as well ) or buy it over there.
2) Huntington library and gardens at Pasadena. Beautiful collection of books and amazing gardens. Very nice restaurant to have lunch out door
So Michael- when I come over from Australia one day you can take me around LA. Great video mate
can't wait for my October trip to dt la :)
Thanks for the honest review
SGV for bomb Chinese food and boba, Long Beach, old town Pasadena for the night life and food, so much more. Plus you gotta add an element of street in there so check out the local street races at night. LA is cool bc each city kinda has their own downtown so there are usually bars in each one and you have to check that out. Also if you are younger, go to ucla’s frat row while school is in session…parties up and down that block! If you are an older head, go to downtown with a place that has a dress code to listen to music. So many events are happening out here too. Also make time to leave in 2-3 days to drive to Vegas and party. That’ll be the ultimate vacation for visiting LA
so cal is a party scene
Excellent video, thank you!
Appreciate it!
Thank you! I am trying to plan a trip right now and so lost on where to start!
Woo!! You’ll have a blast!
I am going to LA for first time in 2 weeks, thanks for the video
Have a blast!
Bomb 💣 azz tour 🙌🏾
So detailed and descriptive! This is my LA guide for my upcoming trip. This is much appreciated!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Great video....gave me a different perspective
love it!! :)
For sure we will see each other again. Again a great video with wonderful pictures and very interesting information. Don’t no what to do first and how to cover most of your recommendations. Can’t wait to be back in California again. This time we will spend more time in LA as last time. Would be funny to see you randomly filming one of your vlog’s 😅
Thanks Michael! Ya never know, could cross paths lol
great video!
Thanks!! I'm planing a trip for LA and these are most things I want to do. Thanks for not mentioning parks or studio visits, because that's all that pops when you look for things to do...
Hey Michael. I am coming to visit your city for the first time in September 2023. I am celebrating my birthday there! Thank you for the great video. PS all the way from Cape Town, South Africa here.
thanks Michael for awesome tour guide. I think it wouldn't hurt to add some info on accommodation tips/car rental 😃
Hi Michael! Great videos as usual! Having been to LA for 3 weeks, and back in the last few weeks I can say my favorite part is West Hollywood. For a low budget tourist, with no car, LA is not the friendliest city. I'm an expert on public transportation, though :P My only recommendation is to only plan an hour at the most for Hollywood Boulevard. And specially don't go there at night unless you have a car. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for sharing Laura! Yes West Hollywood is prime LA! Agree with Hollywood Blvd, can’t stand it 😂hahaha
I will love to visit the city one day
Whether snatching happens at night ?
this video made my day ... glad to see this . Im from Manila and im heading to LA in about 2 weeks from now .... I really appreciate this video and the way you presented everything. BTW I gave ur IG a follow. Hope to see u around Michael
Thank you so much!
I`m planing to move to L.A., thank you very much for this very informative a full of L.A. vibe video, that video was exactly what I was looking for!!!
Great video. Hollywood can changed over the years. It was more grimy back in the 70s.
Your vidio is helpful for me .
Thank !!!!
LOL @ Hollywood Walk of Fame and it was the singing at the end for me...
🤣
Perfect timing! Am planning a trip for later this month and have been struggling with how to prioritize what to do/see 😅 Griffith at sunrise seems like a much better idea than sunset! Might just have to cap off my trip with a song at the pier as well! Keep up the awesome work!
Awesome!! Glad you enjoyed. Thanks Cassandra I hope you have a great trip! 😎
but you wont be able to actually enter the observatory until 10 AM right? can u leave the car in the parking lot if u park before 10 AM?
Go visit Echo Park, Silverlake and Koreatown. I’m have no idea why he didn’t include these locations, they’re one of the best places in LA to Explore.

Thank you so much 🙏🏾
With Love! LA
I live in Los Angeles and many of what you have described are some of my fav (except Hollywood and the Pier). Yes! Hollywood has bad vibes! 😂 ! Thank you for sharing this great vide!
Haha, thank you!
So far LA is my favorite city!, I don’t know why exactly but i alllllwayyyys enjoy being in LA. Ive been thinking about moving to there but i’m scared of the expensive life there (and i hate that there is always an issue with parking lots) 😂 100000% recomended.
Also ive been there like 10 times and i always get a 75dlls parking ticket 😒🥲 i guess now is part of my budget😂😂😂
Great Videos
Im going to L.A in December! Spending 3 weeks there and Christmas day :)
Thanks for sharing
Great video Michael . Comming to La next week . I wonder if you can rent a little boat on venice kanal?
18:20 Really enjoyed the video! I’ve always wanted to go to LA, but the need for a car has put me off. I prefer to walk or bus it in cities 🏃♀️
Make sure if you go to the Grove you go into the farmers market. It's a great place to eat and shop for souvenirs
Just went there for the first time! Visited Skid Row on Crocker St.
I lived in LA and when we go back to CA to visit we go to La Jolla, Disneyland, Sea World, Santa Monica Pier.
On my first vacation to LA back in the late 90's, I ran into a lot of celebrities. I was on the Hollywood walk of Fame when they presented Drew Carey a star. I had pictures taking with Drew Carey, Jennifer Tilly and other famous people attending. Next I walked about few hundred feet, and came across Alec Baldwin. He was filming the movie Providence at the Guinness Book of record attraction. After the Hollywood area we head down to the 3rd street Promenade in Santa Monica. There was some kind of martial artist exhibition hosted by Robin Shou, the actor who played Liu Kang on Mortal Kombat. We took picture with him and was invited to his movie premiere. We then went down to the beach. Walking between Santa Monica and Venice beach, we came across another filming. They had plywood panels laid out over sand and Rob Lowe was right in front of us smoking a cigarette. Didn't want to bother him so we just walked by him. The whole cast of the West wing was filming right on the beach. All this celebrities sighting was within 2 hours. Back then we thought movie stars were every where in LA. We now live in LA and haven't seen any since that day. All we see now are tourist and homeless people
Coming to Los Angeles in September
Wowwww you’re awesome! I need to buy your virtual tour!! Quick question, what time did you arrive to the observatory? I’m not a 5am person lol But wondering if later around 7 is still as empty?
Thank you! You should be good at 7 am I’d say.
I have the time of my life in LA every single time
Planning a trip in a few weeks and your videos have proved invaluable. Awesome work! Also I was wondering what equipment you use to vlog if you don't mind me asking
Thank you so much Henry!! I use:
Sennheiser Mic: amzn.to/3LWW6TN
Sony ZV-1: amzn.to/3LUCVdr
awesome videos! what camera do you use?
A great video! I have been to LA in April and will be back in December. Where I can celebrate New Year Eve? What do you recommend?
How long takes time to walk to the Hollywood sign from the 3200 canyon dr.?
Greetings from Germany
We love your videos, Michael. Question about Griffith observatory during sunrise. Can u go there using Uber or Lyft during early mornings? We plan on going there with our kids ( 2 and 4yo) but we don’t have a private car. Love from The Philippines ❤
Love your great personality. The video felt like I was in those places. Think you saved/convinced me, not to waste our family trip on the walk of fame. Agreed, ew. Also, didn't have those beaches in mind. Was thinking, Huntington.
Nice video, congratulations! I have schedule a travel in september, how is the weather in this season? Thanks from Colombia
September will be beautiful!
We have lots of amusements on piers here in 🇬🇧 United Kingdom. It’s iconic.
where can a person overnight car camp safely? btw great video with honest descriptions
I live in Idaho with roommates. I always wanted to move to LA because it’s the entertainment industry. But we had no idea it can be really expensive 😂😭
Great Video. And thx for the Information that you not see often a Celebrity if it’s not the Oscars (i‘m from Germany). Can you perhaps say if in LA Echo Park live some Stars from Movie or Tv??
