In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I'm raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. Beautiful video of the Columbia River Gorge and crossing back over the Cascades. You got lucky with the weather in Seattle, I felt a bit of a chill with those memorials and the related morbidity.

Next time you go through Seattle you should go see the Gum Wall. When you drove past the market, it was just around the corner. It's gross but must see, eeeew!

Hwy 14 is not in a desert after You go east of Hood River Oregon. It followes the Columbia River and is a semi-arid climate. WA State has no deserts. Pretty ride though.
