- Every day in Alaska brings something new. After servicing my bike in Anchorage, I rode South to Seward. I wasn't lucky with the weather at the time, but I managed to see the most beautiful glaciers.

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I'm raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. I've stayed at a small cabin in a private area similar to the ones shown in this episode while moto traveling. I call those small cabins a shed with a bed. Though it looked like yours offered a little more than that. Plus a kitchen was supplied with ingredients to make breakfast. Considering that you are in Alaska, it was a good deal. Bill is a legend and I think works on everyone's bike that visits Anchorage that needs service. Excellent episode, cool

So nice to see another person not afraid to keep a bike going with proper maintenance. I have 137,000 km on my 2007 Vstrom DL1000 and it’s still going strong. Keep on riding!
You looked really sad, and down in the first few seconds of the video and I was worried that something had happened. Then, a lil bit later there was "how's my hair" and the warm, wonderful, charming, always smiling Kinga was back.

Kinga! You've got me hooked on Alaska! I so need to get back to the north! I took your advice when you told me I had to see Skagway when I met you in Whitehorse. I only got to the border since I didn't have my passport with me but I plan to go back! It was stunning like you said! Maybe next summer I'll do more Alaska! Thanks so much for your inspiration! Great news about Chillie and I am so glad she is well and ready to do it all over again! Whether on trips with people or alone I always end up working on a bike or two, it's disappointing that more people do not maintain their bikes. Much respect to you for excellent maintenance of Chilie. I don't know of many, if any, engines that are not horizontally opposed that can go nearly 100,000 miles with such minimal wear. Of course, responsible riding habits add a lot to engine longevity, too. Stay safe, Kinga.

This gave me so much nostalgia from when I went to Alaska in 2021. I am pretty sure I went on he exactly glacier tour you did. You have been such a positive inspiration for my learning to ride. I am planning to start doing some in state motorcycle exploring here soon in Arizona to get my feet wet. Hopefully in the future some more long distance adventures.
