Runa, I’m a 70 year old rider who has been riding motorcycles since I was 13. I have ridden thru Mexico, Canada and all over the US. I still ride 10,000 to 12,000 miles per year. Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your videos because you go thru places in the world I will probably never get to go. You and Itchy Boots both have a great eye for how you record and edit your videos. I love your low key approach to riding and I can tell you that your videos have much improved since you began. Thanks so much for making interesting content. Keep up the good work.
Hi Rick, and thank you for sharing that! That is really impressive, I hope I will still be riding when I'm 70 too! 😊 I am very happy that I am able to share my journeys and experiences with so many of you fantastic people, the internet sure is great in many ways. Cant wait to see what adventure we will go on next 😃

Thank you very much!😊 I was so nervous but ended up having a great time with a great crowd! Being at events like this with all the amazing people around brings me so much inspiration and motivation, and I can’t wait to tackle more and more trips, Canada definitely being in my list!😃

Hi Runa, what a great talk, and your nerves don't show, did you manage to do any riding while at the ABR.? Keep up your great work ride safe and enjoy.
I get Pippi Långstrump feelings after listening to your presentation: 'I have never tried that before, so I think I should definitely be able to do that'. 'I don’t think anything impresses me, least of all myself.' You have made your own channel with your own style. You manage to show the enjoyment that comes from riding a motorbike through nature in a way that keeps you captivated. I truly enjoy your your travels and I hope for many more to come.
Runa! You are a star by nature, I really love your spontaneity. Continue don't worry about getting "old"...as long as you have all these beautiful and warming memories.👍👍👍
Woohoo - look at you!! On stage at the ABR ...and you totally deserve to be there Runa 👌 Love hearing your backstory, and personal take on the adventures you have had. Your ride through NZ obviously was a fav for me (biased as lol).....keep going - keep safe 😎✌
Well done Runa! You have done so much in such a short space of time. It was lovely to meet you at the festival! Keep making these amazing happy videos! They never fail to make me happy!
Thank you so much! It's been a blast, and I can't wait to see what's next 😃 I hope you had a great time too and looking forward to get back at editing NZ vids! 😊
Runa, thanks for letting us tag along on your trips. I like your easy going nature, and the way you take your time, to enjoy you adventures. Be safe and enjoy the ride.
Great talk, Runa. Was there on the front row. Apologies for disturbing your breakfast before the talk. :) Onwards and upwards in your endeavours, adventures and successes. Ride safe, stay well and be happy.
Aah thank you very much for being there, it was such a great experience! 😊 And thank you for saying hi during my breakfast, I was pretty nervous so it was very nice to get my mind on something else! It was so nice meeting you guys there! 😊
Excellent, Runa.... a common quality in all your storytelling, you come across as humble, open minded, genuine and trustworthy. Qualities sadly missing from too many adventure riding "influencers". Keep up the great work - we´ll follow you to the end of the world. Almost. :-)
It was good to actually meet you and chat, your smile is infectious. I didn't manage to ask how you learnt to produce and edit such professional videos but keep them coming in your next adventure. Thanks.

An enjoyable presentation, delivered very professionally. Given that you confess to not being particularly fond of crowded places it must have been quite difficult for you, so well done for overcoming those feelings as well. 👏👏👏

Excellent video Runa where audience participation can throw anything at you and you survive it with a keen explanation. I'm too old and too infirm to ride motorcycles and even lost my car license due to Cataracts in both eyes, hence why I am subscribed to you and many other solo riders, for you show me through your experience what I wished at a younger age I could have taken up. My riding friends now are all adaptable, upbeat, and make the best of what we encounter; just happy to be out riding. Great travels, and as the Irish say, "May the road rise up to meet you!" @@ragbag46 Definitely. When my wife and I stopped at a restaurant on the Blue Ridge Parkway, we chatted with an older couple. As they were leaving, the guy turned back to us and said "Have a good ride! Keep it between the ditches!" I laughed. I still say it to others, 20 years on.

Inspiring! My vehicle has been a bicycle and I am moving to moto after nearly 50 years of riding and travel. I grew up rough and poor and still get the "privilege" BS along with the associated guilt. Glad I never listened. Instead, I pinch myself trying to wake from this (um, hard earned) dream every day of my life. In a way, it's been a life-long pilgrimage, and that has made all the difference. Keep going
Thank you for sharing this, Brian. It's a pity it feels like that sometimes, but it's all part of the process. I am pretty sure success feels heck lot better when you've worked hard for it! Well done and keep enjoying yourself! 😊
I would love it if you came to the USA and several months here. The US is obviously a large country. Butler motorcycle maps show all the great pavement roads and BDR, Backcountry Discovery Routes show amazing off pavement routes plus there’s the TAT Trans American Trail that goes across the US East to West or even the Continental Divide Route. With multiple mountain ranges. I would love to know what you think about the idea. Ride safe and have fun. 🇺🇸

Aaah I got that a lot actually, I guess I should have worn my motorcycle gear more so people would recognize me easier 😂 Let's try again next year, I hope to be there again!
Probably a trip to the moon on the earth... Lamayuru in India :)
Hope you had a blast. See you in 2025? Best wishes and continued success with your journeys 😊
Thank you, I enjoyed myself so much! Sure hope I can be there next year as well 😊
❤❤❤
Cool performance but still warm 👍
great talk.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it 😊
Great Runa 👌🏼😅

Thank you, I'm glad! 😊

👏👏👏👏👏👏
I would love it if you came to the USA and several months here. The US is obviously a large country. Butler motorcycle maps show all the great pavement roads and BDR, Backcountry Discovery Routes show amazing off pavement routes plus there’s the TAT Trans American Trail that goes across the US East to West or even the Continental Divide Route. With multiple mountain ranges. I would love to know what you think about the idea. Ride safe and have fun. 🇺🇸
