In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I'm raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. several years ago I was lucky enough to work with LEATT on my road racing program. Our team was outfitted with the LEATT Road braces, as well as I had a couple of carbon pro braces for my off road riding. fantastic product!

Met you with a couple of my friends on a ferry ride a couple weeks ago. Not gonna spoil it for the viewers where but was wondering about the neck brace and now that answers my question! You are probably shocked by how little gear many US riders wear. In Fl you daily see idiots yes idiots on the freeway in flip flops a t shirt & shorts and no helmet or other gear. Bewildering

Well I just learned something new - I had no idea Leatt was another fantastic South African invention, that seals it for me - Leatt products will be my go to gear from now on - thanks!
You could’ve stitched a zigzag route along hwy 395 to Reno, poking into the Sierras, going up as high as the tracks will let you. You can also do that along Hwy 49 from oakhurst to downieville.
There might be some passes open like hwy 108 cut across then cutback on 88, many nice backroads to connect both and if snowed in just go back and go up a little on 49 or 395 then explore off the next pass…

Great tour of Leatt TY. I was in the Lake Tahoe Truckee area late May and June they had a record snow fall winter. To bad you had to limit the off roading sections so many cool areas in NV CA.

I understand that more prtoection is good, but how does the neck brace protect you in a crash? Does it "just" reduce the range of motion of the helmet?

Way cool VLOG. New respect for Leatt Products! But curious, how exactly does the neck brace work? "Locks in the Helmet on impact so the c-spine doesn't flex or twist too far? Seems like it would protect your clavicles more than the cervical spine??? Thank you!

It keeps the helmet from moving to far back or forward.

Thanks Kinga for showing us just how much we do need neck braces. I have thinking about getting one for a long time now, to many accidents. I wouldn’t go out riding without my gear on , so why not a neck brace?

Other than some wind noise the audio is fine.....
None of your products are used in MotoGP am I correct.
You get hit by a car or truck,the neck brace or helmet won't save you...A truck will make you a wet spot on the road.That's the reality of it. They might protect you in a low speed impact...Wearing them only makes you feel warm and fuzzy about riding...I use a helmet for sun protection...I don't kid myself thinking they will protect me against a 60mph 18 wheeler....
