I really love my kids, but I think I have one of them who I miiiight just trade for this car.
I completely understand
Probably gonna take a few.🤣👍
@Endoe ONE hahahahaha!
The first born son is what singer demands
@@foxygrandpa1899 lmfao I heard that in a demons voice haha
Jay is the kind of automobile enthusiast who asks detailed questions about wipers. Great car, thanks for showing it to us.
That is one _beautiful_ Porsche. Singer is one genius company.
Genius? They just use other people's stuff and outsource all of it .
thomascampr Just because they use other people’s parts doesn’t mean they are doing it wrong. Why do so many car companies go to brembo for brakes and recaro for seats? Because those companies do a good job. Singer can’t do everything so of course they have to outsource. They still craft a fine automobile.
@@AfterDark33 Singer is not a driver's car . Obviously the people that own it hardly drive them . Out of 100 cars the most milage is 8500. Its a garbage queen.
@@thomascampr I challenge you to find a professional review of a Singer that isn't anything but glowing and superlative.
Don't all manufacturers "use other people's stuff"? It's choosing the right components and developing a unique design that works in harmony that sets the Singer apart. Many parts bin cars aren't the sum of their components.
thomascampr Go watch the top gear review of the singer.
I have not had the opportunity to see a Singer in person, but every video I see they are nothing short of amazing. Such a beauty.
Mr Jay Leno is my hero. The way he talks and knows details about every of his cars, he knows how to actually work on them. Like they were family members. Not a typical collector who only knows how to write checks. Respect! You're well known among car enthusiasts here in the Eastern Europe too.
You don't have to work on your own cars to be an enthusiast. Older Rich people also aren't always in the condition to be crawling around fixing their cars. Think next time you make a stupid comment.🙄🙄🙄
You are stupid and disrespectful. There is a big difference between being a car enthusiast or just a rich guy who wants to have a four wheeled sculpture in his garage [trailer queen] to hold it for a while and sell it with a profit on auction. The only thing they can say about their car is how much they paid for it. Same thing goes to the drivers - that's a shame - a MAN over 40 and he doesn't know how to change oil or spark plugs even if he has a garage. Like one friend of mine - he went to the mechanic even to change his fuel pump - but yeah, he loves cars. - B.S. I admire people like Jay Leno who actually drive their cars, know their history, are not scared to pop the hood or to have their hands dirty. Jay can be a role model for every car enthusiast.
@@obywatelcane6775 No you are stupid, disrespectful and OBNOXIOUS. Sure their are rich guys that buy for investment. But than their are rich guys that love cars and buy them to drive. I have relatives that use to be auto mechanics and no longer work on their own cars. Does that make the non enthusiasts now??? I have worked on my older cars but won't do anything to my newer cars. Does that make me a non enthusiast??? AGAIN THINK BEFORE YOU MAKE AN IGNORANT COMMENT.
Last I heard... Jay has full "in-house" staff to maintain, repair and service his collection. Plus, in the early years he actually participated in conceptualizing and building many of his personal cars.
There is his 1966 Galaxie, his 1955 Buick Road Master with "Big Block", The 1966 Tornado ...that "Shogun" - which has the Yamaha-headed v-6, Ford "SHO" engine swapped in rear of Ford Fiesta, which was limited specialty, aftermarket build from back in 1989.
Jay has bona fides as real "Car guy"..
@@JustinAEgan He did. Im not sure if he does any work on them himself any longer. He's pretty busy again with the youtube show and the CNBC show and probably any other appearances he does. He is in his late 60's now so I can't see him under the hood all that often.
Jay's passion for cars and making this show is just amazing. He could just retire and play golf, and do nothing, but he puts a lot of passion into these shows, and it's just great. You learn so much about cars.
Look it's his way of 'Playing Golf' He enjoys doing it.
He has mentioned it more than once… Jay does NOT play golf.
He is much better as a car reviewer than a late night talk show imo
@@kato2395 he doesn't really "review" cars. But he's great at showcasing them.
Jay: I'm in the Bugatti section of my garage...
Me: I'm in the 1998 Honda Civic section of my garage...
xXxPR0GAMER69xXx la dee da mr fancy pants showing off that he has a garage! Better than my cardboard box
I’m in the don’t have a car section of my don’t have a garage
Hahaha!
For fun to drive, bang for the buck and park it anywhere, I'll take my 2018 Civic LX coupe with a sweet 6 speed over a masterpiece 911 anyday.
I'm in the whatever crusty Maine shitbox that I have to patch up section/only section.
Jay it’s hard to explain to people who don’t own or driven extensively a Porsche 911 , the whole Porsche thing, I wasn’t a believer until I bought one and a person kinda gains an appreciation for the man-machine interface and how the 911 reacts on the road, as you know you actually need to drive it, which means thinking and it’s under your total control. For people that maybe want a car to do everything for them, then the 911 may not be what they are looking for.
The sound of those doors shutting is worth the price of admission alone.
One of the best door closes ever
I had a ride a few weeks ago in a friend's '67 VW Beetle. Same vault sound when closing the doors. Amazing ! Even in such a lightweight car. How do the Germans do it ?
I know right.
Such a soothing sound. U can hear the quality.
Get the same sound on my G- Class Mercedes. That sound will never get old
The Singers are just gorgeous, not overdone, pure class and automotive love right there..
And I love how Tim gets all chuffed when certain features come into the conversation, you can tell he`s excited about the car and the job they did, and considering the somewhat inauspicious beginnings they had, all the initial work they did with shaping and the wheels and everything, he and the team absolutely should be proud of what they accomplished, great work!
Talking about only 1 vehicle for 25 minutes is really dedication and knowledge.
I don’t even really like Porches, but this car is absolutely incredible to look at. This and Tim Allen’s COPO might be my 2 fav cars Leno has ever shown on this channel
Beauty is in its simplicity and timeless design.
That is a beautiful paint colour, love that liquid metal look
Maybe the color name is : Lunar grey
MILKY NICKEL
I think it's based on "Lach Silber" by BMW, beautiful colour
Color named after a stripper!
I love different shades of marroon on most sportscars but gun metal grey and various iterations of metallic grey make any car suspected of going fast look even faster.
911 megafan, Singer’s makes it perfect! Awesome work, beautiful car. Love it!
Mr Gregorio really knows the product inside out and front to back...Fab show
....rode and drove a Singer....around a fair ground. The attention to detail is lost on a glance. These people actually and with an excited mood, do this work daily. Beyond amazing. For the super car restorers, this is the poster child. Thanks Rob!
You should really thank Tim.
Beautiful car. Fits Jay’s specifications perfectly: Gorgeous fit and finish, excellent mechanics and also a potential daily driver, grocery getter.
Could you imagine how crushed you would be if you came out and saw a ding in your door at the grocery store? I'm against violence but I wouldn't be able to stop myself.
@@johnsheetz6639 Get it fixed, it's a car. And I say that as a Singer owner.
That red NA Miata though 😍😉
A miata is fun and all but that singer is just incredible.
This video had me at “Singer’s...”. Oh how I want one of these beautiful machines.
Nice to listen to a guy that clearly knows his business inside and out. Well done Tim
I just wanna see the nickel plated apple.

And henceforth this Singer shall sit in my museum say I
@@icecreamalacarte that's why Jay doesn't own one
I love my blue Ferrari lettin it rip today.
@@thomascampr Well, I have no doubt that Jay Leno enjoys driving but he is a collector first and and foremost. I mean, with a fleet of over 500 vehicles at your disposal it would be hard to drive each of these even once a year.
@@ifrit35 the real issue is finding the keys 😂. Just imagining slipping up and putting all your mustang keys on the same keychain
Man thats one beautiful Porsche,i love it.
13:08 “ALABAMA WOW!” - goes deaf

Lol felt the pride in keeping it in the states
That car is so beautiful it almost doesn't look real. Beyond gorgeous, beyond words. The color!!! Beyond imagination.
This interior is something else, just gorgeous, well done Singer!
I love cars. I am obsessed with them. Old and new. I was born in Southern California and, in high school, I loved pulling my Volkswagen Beetle into the driveway to wash it on warm breezy day.
Fast forward 15 years. I moved to NYC to be an artist. I am carless and it's killing me. I feel stuck. Trapped on this island with no way out. Rental cars are not the answer. They are lifeless. My only respite is to spend countless hours researching and dreaming about cars through this inflexible glowing screen.
From the Toyota Prius to the Rolls Royce Phantom, all cars are noble expressions of human engineering, ingenuity, and creativity. For me, however, there is one car that sits at the apex of all others.
If I can own just one automobile in the world it would be a Porsche by Singer. The Singer 911 is a masterpiece. I do not say this flippantly. Yes, the Singer 911 is a masterpiece at the level of Michelangelo's Pieta. It is rolling sculpture. Every curve, every detail is excruciatingly crafted. It's so beautiful that, upon a glance, Medusa herself would turn to stone.
My hairs stand up on the back of my neck. My arms and legs go numb. My whole body trembles. I weep.
In the end, I don't know how I will ever be able to afford a Porsche by Singer. Now my dream becomes my nightmare...
The details on these vehicles are incomprehensible, amazing build!!
It was nice to listen to these two talk Porsche's. Both so knowledgeable.
8500 not 85000? Jay just called every singer owner a beotch!
Sadly these are garage queens.
Thought the same...drive the damn cars! Full disclosure..have a 2018 911 GTS with over 10k on it. While its no Singer, I plan to drive the wheels off of it..
Rightfully so. That’s the crux of a Singer Porsche. They make essentially the perfect version of the 911 to drive and they get so expensive that everyone is afraid to buy one. They are no longer drivers cars, they are “investments”. Not too different from a lot of super cars I guess.
@@wallstbull1
Not trying to take anything away from you, but the current 911 GTS IS very much an everyday car and you've had roughly two years to do it. Had it been an "exotic" Porsche, well that's more interesting. I've helped putting 13500 km on a GT3 RS that was delivered in May this year between then and October, and 3k of those are done on the Ring.
@@mcearl8073
What's really neat about Singer in Europe is, that compared to many other new cars, they actually get cheaper. In Germany, a Singer will actually be less than a new Turbo, and perhaps even GTS. It has to do with the fact that while you have to pay VAT of the build from Singer, the taxes of putting plates on it etc. is all original 964. In a country like Denmark, a Singer is a fourth the price of a Ferrari 488 Spider and half that of a good GTS. The only country where a Singer can be considered truly expensive compared to new exotics, is in the US, but that's because everything else is so cheap.
Jay knows what to ask and Gregorio answers flawlesly, that why this video is a hit!
Always enjoy when a Singer Porsche comes into the shop. The incredible attention to detail they put into their cars while keeping the beauty of the original is second to none. Thanks for sharing Jay! 👍✌️
What shop is this?
Eric MK4 Jetta - Dunkin' Donuts
Eric MK4 Jetta That’s what I’m wondering. What shop is there where presumably multiple 1 out of 100 Singer Porsche’s come in to. Maybe The dude means jays shop.
Bmac 814 bingo! I figured my "thanks for sharing Jay" comment would have made it obvious. He's showcased a few of them over the years.
The weird thing is that it looks like what you imagine an old porsche would look like. The size of the wheels is what first gives it away that it's not an original. I'm not a porsche guy, but this car. It's perfect!
The level of detail is truly amazing. I would love to own this.
I love the look of Porsche 964, especially ones restored by Singer Porsches. Simple and classy.
Jay always asks the correct questions..
I met the singer guys at goodwood this year and they where great and so nice to chat with.. I’ve sent my letter to Santa and I’m waiting with crossed fingers!
People who bring their cars to Leno need to be really prepared for the questions he asks. They are sometimes so random but so accurate and specific to the model, type and year of the car that sometimes even the most researched enthusiasts have missed or forgotten the answers when it comes to the details. So most of the time observing these interactions you'd find the people bringing their cars to Leno slightly shocked by the question thinking, 'damn Jay knows that too'.
Jay Leno truly is the guru when it comes to the extensive research and experience and memory when it comes to cars.
Beautiful car, but it's for the very rich. A stock used 911 in good condition if you can find one can give you just as much enjoyment.
looove me some 911.....but this car will give a bit MORE enjoyment..lol
Zorch izvay that’s the problem. 964 Porsche are quite expensive for used vintage cars.
Air cooled 911s are already very pricey so I doubt anybody who buys one is strapped for cash
@@benjamins9121 I have a 1977 911S for sale

Just as I was giving up on new videos tonight, Jay comes in clutch.

19:40 I can't hear their voice over the engine
Hey, I'm not complaining
Turn up the volume! Full volume and still barely audible on all devices. May I recommend "TURN IT TO 11"!!!!
They need to start at an 11 AND TAKE IT TO A 15 REAL QUICKLY!

You could also buy a 996 or 997 and start a project from there. The Sky is the limit.
Jay Leno & Chris Harris always ask the right questions on their shows. Their seriousness is like they want to buy it, own it & cherish it.
"Ok I'm in prison, I hit a child -- what happened?" LOL
You didn't drive it on a track!

@Guy That face you make when the speed bump screams.
This 100th one is the most beautiful 911 Porsche ever.
Who put the mic underneath the guy's shirt placket? Jay is twice as loud! It's not like this is the second video of the channel. Jesus!!!
JUST THE OPPOSITE, HE MUST HAVE HYPERSENSITIVE HEARING.
Personality, engineering, and beauty. What a combination!
I CAN HARDLY HEAR YOU!!!!! yet again the audio on this show is low and I have to resort to earphones ...before this I just watched a camera review on a popular channel and could have my audio set around 1/4 up from 0. Surely some one reads these comments and should point this out. I know its a FREE show.... but I am not the first two point out the low (voice )audio....
If they ever do increase the audio level that'll make it fun for watching playlists of JLG. You'll be turned up to hear one video nicely then the next will blow your ears out.
Yea, please fix the volume, this issue is here for many months... I need to increase it to like 300% of normal level for all other YT stuff... and it is still not enough.
Don't watch it on your phone than you nimrod. Cast it to your tv and crank up the volume. I watch it on my phone just fine. It's your equipment or own ignorance.
whom mentioned a phone? clearly you have some sort of bionic hearing compared to the majority of views that bother to make constructive comments about low audio compared to other videos on the same platform .........................
Try some extra speakers on your PC. My good old Altec Lansing 5.1 system makes all videos sound great..!
This car is absolutely positively stunning!
Love when a guest knows their stuff and is passionate about their cars.... add in Jay's seemingly limitless knowledge and the time just glides by. I could listen to these two for hours.
Man......music to my ears.

The Singer guys, create these Porsches, and proudly display them.......they are as talented a craftsman as you'll find in like car guy shop.
The newest unit is easily found in R/T magazine. Melts faces rather than tires. Demons are getting to be passee'.
Love the car, but are also impressed with Tim Gregorio. Very knowledgeable and well-articulated. A "Christian von Koenigsegg"-performance.
Here's a bit of a secret. Tim IS Singer, a lot more than Rob Dickenson is.

No 911 fan. But the Singer 911's are drop.....dead.....gorgeous. Everything about the whole idea behind a singer is absolute magnificence.
I said I'm not a fan. I don't dislike the 911. The car is rightfully so legendary. But it would not be my choice if I was shopping in this segment. (Singer is different because it does cost a pretty penny)
its a 964
still a 911
Sorry (not sorry) your comment is senseless. If you like the purest form of the 964 (911) then you are a fan of the 911. Also, there is no person on earth that isn't a fan of the 911.
I have to agree with you Xearin, I never cared for the 911 design ( all 55 years of it) myself but the build quality on this car is unbelievable.
Fantastic video. With great detail.
Left without words. Hoping you're feeling better now.
Can't hear tall singer guy... Audio is not great on this one, but I love the car
Sean Schmidt it’s better that way; the dude is kind if douchey
Not really into old/classic cars, but singers are just stunning.
What's with the audio?
I think dudes mic was off and you are just hearing him picked up on Jays.
JLG has always had inconsistent audio. What say we all chip in and help poor Jay pay for better gear and crew.
Its quite for me but yeah leno seems to have issues sometimes. Still come along way
I think the button placket of his shirt blocks the mic. Makes me furious since basically the production value is so high and then some guy messes up a simple thing like this and the video quality goes right down the toilet. Obviously no sound test either.
@@Madagon367 hey man life is too short to be furious about slightly off audio on a youtube video. Chill out

My favorite Singer other than their new DLS. Wondering if a modern rear brake light bar could be incorporated and front corner turn signals could be modernized like Audi does. The outside paint looks similar to Porsche $70K liquid metal paint color. I would get this car with burgundy interior and heavily sound deadened with best dynamat type material and double pane sound proof windows.

Singer rep. looks like Peter Fonda. The 'Easy Rider" Peter Fonda.
Rob insisted that should be his look. He felt it would be helpful in marketing the cars.
Needs those 70's sunglasses that Fonda always wore that took up like a third of his face.
Don Folders I checked the video, and your correct. I thought Jack Nicholson would be riding in the back seat.
Really nicely done.
