G'Day Tim, I love the way that campground looks, and hearing nature makes me feel good inside. One trick I learned about filling a water bottle in a stream like the one there is to always face the neck of the bottle downstream to cut down on the number of contaminants in the water. Hi Tim, I feel ive commented on this before,so please excuse repetition. Your standard of photography is excellent. Your up there with the very best U- Tube experts. I would hate to think what you have spent on photographic equipment. Not meaning to " piss in your pocket " but it was great you mentioned carrying your PLB . The high country can be treacherous, major injuries,illness,mechanical disasters etc can mean life or death. A PLB cand lower this risk greatly. Keep doing videos Tim,regards Grant.

When it rains around there it sure can flood those plains fairly damn quickly, was around there last December and all it did was rain and got bloody cold even then! LOL

@@springfieldjohny thanks mate. It works really well. There’s a story behind that trowel. My video coming out this Monday night explains that trowel and why it’s in my camp box. Because I use it to cook with and with oils in the cooking, that stops it rusting. Cheers Tim.

Cracking spot, definitely isolated and high elevation. The weather stop you from walking to Daveys Hut? Cracking hut. Was up there before Xmas, still haven’t gotten around to posting it yet. I’ll be back there trying for a trout as I snapped my rod while I was there. 🤦🏽 Nice cook up 👍🏼

Hi, Tim, where did you get your firewood from, you need not say, we can not bring wood in and can not cut wood. Have fire pits, I at a loss would love to go there but drive past and into the Victoria High Country
Looks like a great place, but that's what the weather is like in the high country. The vegetation and terrain looks a lot different than the Victorian high country even though it's the same mountain range. I know it's a bit higher than Mt Bogong and Mt Feathertop.
