PoB doesn't have new transfigured gems & I am not too interested in trying to psuedo configure the pob to simulate the damage, the damage is good but i have no idea how much.

For more information on the build archetype check out my scion from last league. TLDR scion can scale higher with giga gear & has option for mageblood in super late game where as inquisitor gets damage a lot easier but won't scale as high in terms of ES. I was going to min-max this build further but got a little sad about bug with adorned so I decided I'd rather make some more builds then stall and wait for them to bugfix the jewel.
Could we get an updated tier list on the transfigured gems?

For mageblood on either character how does the coruscating elixir get effected? Can you swap off of balbala
Fun facts: I was also doing some testing with ball lightning of orbiting, and if its linked with return proj, It actually bounces off walls

I just want to say, an equaliser like this that is "play whatever spell you want" is exactly the utopia we've wanted from the game balance passes for so many years. Thanks for giving us this one for spells for a few months.

@@LinkOmega1 but melee has this aspect by default, which is why they had to start restricting skills to certain weapons
@@LinkOmega1rage stacking voidforge. Its not every attack per se cuz it has to be usable by a two hand sword but you easily hit 20m dps with everything with it

Damn! this vid is really educating! I am playing your cyclone+firestome coc energy blade and at first glance and experience, i thought this build is quite painful to play in early game without proper items, although you mentioned this disadvantage point in your pob, but sadly I'm korean so I missed that info. Haha anyway, now that I have some unique which is essential to this build at mininum level, I became suddenly powerful and tanky and I am slaying 16t map + league content without difficulty, and this is pretty satisfying. The funny thing is, there are so many things left in my character to make it resemble to your build like over 12000+ eneryshield and gear. So many things to do left! I'm quite excited and I feel motivated to play game. Thank you so much for introduction of your build.

Awesome for instrument of zeal ! Btw, You can also go on the mana scaling route, requires sanctuary of thought or radiant faith jewel but it allows for aegis in your defence ;)
Thanks so much for all the updates on this build. I'm struggling like you said might happen to do maps right away but slowly getting through yellow and just enjoying learning about the build. The flame blast bane setup looks cool I think I am Going to set that up.

Iplayed this last league, one of the funner builds out there. Spellblade support made it incredibly strong

Damn i hope this will be playable in the next league. I love battlemages and choosing my spell for the cosmetic look is the opportunity ever. The sometimes weird looking builds is what kept me away from the game most of the time. No front guys, i have playstile, you have yours. Normally i spend hours and hours, looking for a build that looks cool at the start of a season😂thanks a lot i have to me make a starter now😅
Am I crazy or something? I never saw you go over the links, the 6l especially, and PoB doesn’t show it either?
I assume the 6L is using a Transfigured skill gem most likely Storm brand. The other 5 links u can see in the POB.
It’s the boots that are confusing me though. Looks like CWDT, Spellblade, and then a Transfigured Void Sphere and something else I can’t tell what though. Looks like another transfigured skill gem though.
the damage increase taken from consecration ascenion point scales with consecration effect.
am i missing something? why does the PoB show nothing? no rings, 5 link on chest, am i dumb. is it because you can use any skill? what about the rings?

How do you deal with resistances? and where cast and move speed coming from? I tried to build it but the character is slugish af.

@No_OneV to cap res you need:
Bismuth flask with 20%quality and high roll res suffix (35%+)
Brutal restraint of balbala for Traitor
1 decent res mod of cold and lightning on gear (like 25%+).
That, along with the passive tree, caps your res as long as you remember to press your flask and enchant it with "reused at the end of this flask's effect". Traitor will keep it near permanently up if you're sitting in HO, so in combat you're fine. Also have Coruscating Elixer with 20% quality for fire res.
The other replier likely imported and didn't turn on flasks. They're permanently up in combat from traitor + enchant.
What are your opinions or what should be done to make this a cast on crit build? I was looking at making something like this but wanted the comfy CoC build style.
He has a recent video for a version that is CoC I think.
Check his league starter vid from a few days ago, really good start, as far as skills, there are a ton that feel good, firestorm is ok, eye of winter feels decent, bladefall, etc, the nice thing is once u have ok gear, you can just slot in a lvl 1 gem and see how it feels.

what kind of budget do we need for that and is it still doable without 3.23?
Maybe i'm not understanding the zealots oath/eternal youth interaction but is this supposed to end up with low ES recharge outside of leech? Never played a build this stacked on ES that felt completely terrifying to run through spikes in lab
so the idea behind the es recharge on life and the regen on es, is that you're casting stuff through your life, if you're perma recharging life you'll never run out of life
meanwhile es needs some form of sustain so regen is a good way to go about it, any regen works on es so it's great for sustain
Since you appear to be using blood magic, like the stormbrand build, when do you pivot off of res efficiency from Warlock of the Mists? I feel like 50% life efficiency is nice, but since we already have a bunch it may not be worth it for very long? I kinda figured we'd have some serious aura stacking potential especially with the spectres.
Idk I'm still on storm brand of indecision (it's pretty fun but could use a lot more aoe for clear) about to do the blood magic pivot so I'm pretty far behind. Sanctums have not been as profitable because of the server issues, losing half your resolve to lag when your nominal ping is like 10 sucks.
attribute scaling with charms is better than %50 efficiency, you can fit in maybe one more aura but that is it
Instead of Blood Magic you can socket more auras with Arrogance Support and still have other auras with reserved mana? Or does that screw something up?

Hey have you tried messing around with Lightning Conduit of the Heavens? I've been using it in the CoC Cyclone version of your build and it's been a ton of fun!
How it will be works with Sanguimancy?
I'm playing the coc version and this is my favorite build ever. I like builds where you can change your main damage spell! The other one I enjoy is generals call.
How do you get defenses on this build? Ailment immunity? Or are you supposed to play glass cannon and use cast on death -> portal?
Talisman doesn't seem to exist with that particular implicit.

How many mirrors for this build? Is it even possible to build one with low budget? Isnt it too squishy, considering the low eHP?

its funny all of my Divs have come from the league's venders. +37 Str and Int, 7% increased Str Charm from T5 map
Any tips of how I could make this a bit more tanky? I am really bad at getting out of effects so I'm fine with trading some damage for survivability.

Aren't tinctured tailored for this? Since we are missing 2 flasks, we can have one tincture plus the talent that boosts it when there are more empty flask slots?

Hi, i've been following your build and I am currently at lvl 90. Is it normal that the build has really low armour? mine is around 4k+ total and I die alot specially with the porcupine goliath mobs when they die and explode to spikes.

How are the defences on the character? Can you do a bit of face tanking? Would this be a good uber uber elder farmer?
There are no defenses other than ES scaling. You can’t face tank but damage is certainly high enough to shred UUE.
what gem links are you using for ball lightning?
Does anyone know what the transfigured gems in his boots are? In the POB hes got CWDT and Spellblade, I think one Transfigure gem is Void Sphere, but I cant tell what the other one is. Does anyone have an idea?
What is the minimum currency buy-in for this kind of build before it's worth attempting? I'd love to make it a goal but i'm much slower

Hi, I want to ask for your opinion about making an Energy Blade build using Doryani Prototype instead of Ivory Tower.
Core Uniques in mind:
Doryani's Prototype - huge minus lightning res on enemies.
Doon Cubiyari - STR stacking.
Shaper Touch - ES and Evasion scales from STR/INT stacking.
Offensive:
_Energy Blade, STR stacking for flat lightning dmg and %dmg increasing, Doryani's Prototype for -lightning res.
Defensive:
_Average defense with capped cold/fire res. Armour and evas converted to armour for light res due to Doryani Prototype mechanic.
_Corrupted Blood prevention through Jewel implicit.
_For Chaos damage defense:
+Same as your original build by using Coruscating Elixir if I can scale more than 7k ES.
+Using HP pool and give up auras from reserved life if ES is too low, and since we're not using Ivory Temple to benefit from it.
+Replace Topaz Flask with Amethyst Flask.
+Alternate auras gained from reserved life with raising Spectre from Affliction League Mechanic.

The issue i see is that if energy blade will keep the stats of Doon Cubiyari since it replaces the weapon slot, not sure though.

you need some hp regen since you're casting using HP
ZO makes regen affect energy shield, and EY makes energy shield recharge affect life. So getting both makes them swap places. Note that ES recharge is not the same as ES regen
why all the fun builds are not ssf friendly?

6:43 Traitor ain't strong enough to keep the elixier up at all times, you noticed that, yeah? :)
You can get 10% flask effect duration on a jewel and Hillock the flask up to 28%, the Coruscating will keep going for over a minute by itself.
e: just with traitor and 20% qual it lasts 40s, its plenty long

blood magic yes. he reserves life with auras which boosts his ES and such bcuz of other item synergies

Question about Ivory Tower builds: Do you basically just die instantly if you take chaos damage and your Coruscating Elixir isn't up? Is there a way to be safer about that?
Your courscating should basically never fall off.
All the times you died because your coruscating elixir fell off or you forgot or some other stupid shit is the tuition fees for using ivory tower, I'm afraid. I went as far as equipping 3 at some point. Eventually I could survive reasonably well with only 2. But I still have to dodge all the flask related mods and buff duration minus mods on maps.
Before you can afford Traitor, you can make do with warden of the maji and Nature's Concoction which lets you gain flask charges to flasks adjacent to the tincture. But then you have to be attacking for it to work, of course, so not really great for a spellcaster. Works okay for the cyclone CoC version
@@TimoRutanen I understand why he’s getting 8 charges every 5 seconds, but can you explain to me how the flasks are automatically activating?
@@Dexrazor Sure, he's enchanted them with instilling orbs for 'Reused at the end of flask's effect'. You can get it from the crafting bench or randomly spamming instilling orbs on the flask.

Nvm, solved it.. consecrated ground is the answer
Update, not really, even in hideout when I'm standing on consecrated ground sometimes it just stops and refuses to recharge for 5-10 seconds.. elp D:

can't use mageblood, the scion version can, and actually the scion has a much higher ceiling than inquis version, just not able to leaguestart as it since it has no damage until you have everything needed.
What is the difference in the Scion version that lets it solve the chaos issue without a flask?

2% Reservation of skills on a Rare Jewell
2% Reserve on jewels and such. Its gotta be corrupted (implicit) ones that DONT say mana reserve and just say reserve only.

Guys, did someone figure out a good clear spell for this build? I'm testing Arc, but not really liking it. It does 1/20 of Brand's damage...
Arc of oscillating is great due to the insane "more damage" scaling it has, as it scales your EB damage multiplicatively, 300-350% more damage on single target.

I followed the build from the start and yeah it works but when you have budget of a mirror - most of builds would work.

how should we level this? and when to transition?
level as literally whatever, you're inqus with Battlemage, just pickup good flat dmg 1 handed weapons and go nuts, with battlemage and spellblade support just do any spell you like when you get those 2. i leveled as smite with totems until I got those lol, transition fully to energyblade at like 69 or something if you have all 4 uniques recommended.
My problem with rolling an inquisitor is just that. The build has to be expensive to actually work. After all inquisitor offers no real defensive so it is squishy without heavy investment. Then the inquisitor needs more investment to do more damage, which makes it squishy again. So you need more investment to make it defensive again. Better to roll a inquisitor if a player is lucky enough to have a mageblood drop.
i wish i could go back to the time before i tried this build. what a waste of time and resources
