Aw man, I've been working on this since day 1. My idea is a summoner guardian aurabot. I was hoping to finish before someone posted a video lol. I currently run 3 specters (onslaught barb, determination turtle, Fortify/precision naval capt.) Guardian auto summons Wrath, Hatred, Anger. I run myself around 6 auras. So im close to 13 auras while still maintaining a minion army. Trying to figure out my endgame damage setup though for solo play has proven challenging. Appreciate the vids as always. Keep up the great work.
I know, as a minion player myself it’s frustrating seeing non minion builds trying to fit them in. That 5 div corpse price isn’t that high cause everyone is playing minions…
@iconx4213 unfortunately I respected. The amount of $ required was too high. I can post my POB that I came up with though. The build itself I would consider a success though. Even without the two high cost spectre bodies, I was running t16s juiced without issue. I managed to have every aura a typical aura bot would run (minus 1 or 2 depending on gear). It's certainly not cheap though. Side note: you can't do ultimatum due to the mechanic killing all your spectres. Learned that the hard way 😭
@iconx4213 I didn't post last night because when I went into POB I realized the original concept isn't there anymore. I'll try to reconstruct it asap and post it. My buddies didn't like the build because they felt that it blocked too much information on the screen from the minions being everywhere. Although minion army is fun, I ended up trying more single minion setups. Arakalis fang and ele srs where pretty great but it lacks the excitement of 60+ minions lol. In the end I had essentially every aura, and I was running arakalis fang (20 spiders), 9 zombies, carrion golem, animate gaurdian, radiant sentinel, x4 spectres. (So 36 minions.) I tried quite a few setups for the gear but in the end it's basically just a pick your poison of gear between summoner and aurabot. The best way I figured out to play was using a gear swap for solo play or grouplay. I'm sure with enough time and $investment it could be made to run a single set. I'll try to put a rough pob together just so you can see the base of it, but you'll have to hash out the little specifics.

Some more info to share for those who are interested: The perfect blasphemer does cast a smite aura when he attacks, but the range / area of the aura is quite small. The turtle is really powerful if you can stay near it or have it stay near you (with convocation). Not confirmed but I feel like he puts a shield on you and gives you much more than the noted 5% physical DR. The perfect spirit of fortune is great for lightning builds but its basically an immobile totem that follows you by using lightning warp / convocation. That being said its wrath aura and lightning damage as lucky is very strong also.
If you can invest into getting 4 spectres, you can use them to get your auras and you get the 3 purity auras so both your minons and you are close to ele max cap.

a BIG downside of some affliction spectres - especially of perfect warlord - is that it makes CRAZY amount of noises in your h/o. I',m not joking. It drove me crazy, so I had to drop it.
This doesn't really work outside of minion builds, they die every 5 maps (Was using wrath one, Perfect Warlord, Perfect Meatsack). One tech that kind of works is Perfect Marionette + Guardian's Blessing + Aura of your choice. Provides free scorch (pretty minimal). If their health bars are staggered, it can last a couple maps sometimes without needing to recast. The Sanguinmancer does NOT work for this tech.
Hi Tuna. O tried the setup you mentioned in The vídeo, but my spectres keep alive 20 seconds them disapear. Im playing EA Ballista Champion. Do you know what i can be missing? ALL gems ARE lvl 20 with 20 quality and The spectres disapear in my hideout. I didint swap armours or remove any gem or equipment.
You could also get an hungry loop with the 4 support mentioned plus empower or feeding frenzy and save 4 sockets on your gear but lose a ring slot to it
They should keep the aura corpses imo. It makes summoners so much cooler and it helps alleviate the problem of aura bots being so overpowered vs solo play.
I think this is conceptually cool because it enables some of the boons of party play, but for solo players. But i think it's a very slippery slope and creates a lot more balance issues if it were to become the case that every character needs to have essentially AI party members to be competitive in the economy.
The last time a support minion was used in non-minion builds (when Ashes first came out and was a much more common drop, and a lot of minion gems scaled minion life with quality) they nerfed minions into the ground the next league. We're at a point now where the Raise Spectre gem only raises level 76 spectres at gem level 25 because it gets nerfed every so often. As a guy who plays a lot of summoners, I'm not looking forward to the next nerf. 🙃 Which is to say, use this tech while you can, or play a summoner this league if it's ever interested you, because I feel a big nerf on the horizon.
@@ZephWraenif these corpses is a one-league-only thing, I dont see any reason for them to touch spectres next league. Beside, even if they stay, GGG can just nerf the minions itself with little to no consequences because they're not real enemies in the game. Previous nerfs to spectres was because nerfing the enemies themselves wasn't really an option.
Do these spectres manage to keep up with you or do they constantly fall behind? Also how well do they actually survive in T16 corrupted maps if there's no additional juicing going on? I'm playing a Tornado Shot build and thinking of ways to add more auras into my gameplay, either by getting a bot or some sort of spectre setup.
don't buy spectres in advance at low level, intending to use them later. It seems they have a level requirement, and if you're too far above the level of the spectre, it just won't raise.

You forgot about perfect dancing sword It gives you pretty OP stats for impale build. Nearby allies have 20% increased Impale Effect Impales of nearby allies last one additional hit
just have convocation on left click, it should give good enough uptime even at mageblood level of speed, also provide some healing to them passively. I played a weird triple stat stacking guardian bow last league, with mageblood at 140+ MS and tailwind, and was able to keep my minions with me 99% of the time doing that. So it should be fine here as well.
I tried the turtle and wrath aura, they're pretty immobile and can die easily to strongbox triggers, strong essences etc. I expected them to stay ontop of me and run with me, but they just sit there and don't move untill I move far enough so the game teleports them to me.
I had meat shield linked to them, they still don't move. Turtle is a very slow unit and the wrath aura minion is stationary, and only moves using lightning warp.@@jbholland2921

Even on my minion build I have replaced animate guardian with big boy srs on the hungry loop. So easy to add damage with spectres to the horde of skeletons, zombies, and golems, I might as well having srs that can apply shock so that I dont need skitterbots.
what about the dancing sword spectre? it gives 20% impale effect + impale last 1 more hit. can they stack if i get the same?? 60% impale effect +3 extra hits would be crazy
Didnt GGG made a post about saying the wrath one at least was not actually giving dmg with the wrath itself?! It does have lightning ia lucky witch is huge and it does work but wrath isnt and there ia no ETA for a fix yet
I see it being amusing for a guardian as a bodgy minion build, problem you face is you must be a minion build or they fall over even buffed, and finding these spectres takes actual time and rng.
the zealotry guy is squish af, so if you are no minion build just avoid it. Use a gem zealotry, and choose grace guy or dtermination turtle, to be honest all dmg spectres are squish so choose only defensive ones. ONSLAUGHT guy can be used, because he is tank enough.
Currently I'm about to finish my atlas and voidstones, thinking about going some tornado shot corrupting fever ans these specters look sweet for my build

Hey :) I use his builds as well. LA deadeye and TS deadeye are insanely squishy so you just stack damage. Your only defence is killing the mobs first lol so you don’t get any tank. What level are you? A lot of your defences come from 100% spell suppression and evasion for dodge chance. A lot of that comes from skill points so in my experience it doesn’t feel safe in red maps until you get closer to level 90
@@jackbrasher8148 yea i kinda feel it too but in t16s with some of the bosses like the crab his tidal attack literally just one shots you with no counterplay except for dodging it ofc. I'm thinking about some other defenses or literally just stacking as much damage as possible is also a play but since right now my defenses is literally having 6 portals lol. Might try this spectre tech though it seems kinda busted.
I would recommend damage leeched as life if you are at a damage bottleneck, a little survivability as long as you are hitting something, and get you some more time to run away from the cluster of monsters that you just facetanked
I keep thinking why deadeye other than the +2 projectiles? raider perma phasing and onslaught seems way more faster than deadeye's buildup. and more tanky as well.
@@IamNinjaOfNinja you can get phasing and onslaught to 100% uptime very easily though so i dont see why that would be a huuuge positive stuff like the onslaught tincture plus a phasin abyss jewel pretty much guarantees 100% uptime for both.
If I understand it correctly, as I haven't tried myself, you only truly lose them if they die. If you switch gems or die yourself, iirc they drop to ground as corpses.
@@GrimmJohn6 You only need the ascendancy to use the skill to consume the corpses you buy for the damage bonus/ taken reduction. Literally only thing you need to raise these corpses is the correctly coloured wisps and raise spectre spell and buy them from the guy who gives the ascendacy.
I've got Grace, Det, Disc and the extra Phys as Lightning guy then running Haste, Precision, Tempest and Purity on myself. Could switch Phys as Lightning out - as a Guardian I also get the Hatred/Wrath/Anger Dudes with no life reservation - so one TGuardian could easily hit 12 auras.
totems are constructs, but they use player's skill, to get the buff working you need player to be construct. Same as with generosity auras, totems are affected but it makes no difference in damage
Fortify has a base maximum of 20 you can get some additional maximum fortify on the tree but I don't think it reaches 30 maximum stacks If you do this it will probably stack but not sure
I assume that mod is local. So you need to make the alchemist drink your flasks somehow (or use life flasks with the animist suffix to heal your minions, which SHOULD benefit from that modifier).
2 auras for 4 socket gems is literally insane, i can already imagine how powerful tornado shot will be with a hatred / haste aura spectres turned on, while using determination and grace with mageblood, literally infinite damage and decently tank
It's the best one for crit-bow. What did you expect? Precision as a almost free aura is the cause for hyrri's truth. So precision as a really free aura plus other benefits for a mere 4 link setup is like a best in slot unique.

Unless I'm mistaken the Auras they cast are actually higher than level 20, which is another reason they're so good.
Level 24 versions I believe.
@@minhocho5487 They are not consistent. Hydra gives lvl 28.5 hatred while Naval Officer gives like lvl 18 precision with 10% extra increased crit.

The wrath version is actually pretty good, can reach 900 lightning damage , it means you are equip extra 2 lightning bow with you

A potential issue with Meat Shield for non-minion builds is the chance to taunt.

yeah, lucky aura + wrath spectre is a huge combo. Wrath aura is insanely high, like level 28/29

Convocation will be necessary. If you are crit, at least you can put it on Cast on Crit

Speed isn't even the problem. They'll just die instantly, always. Also for the sockets etc you sacrifice, it's not worth it.

Convocation. If you are Crit build maybe even CoCvocation
convocation on left click is your friend. preventing them from wandering around too much.

That turtle with determination moves so slow constantly getting out of range for aura, even with speed supports makes no difference.
Use desecrate.

Worth mentioning that the Guardian Turtle is slow as fuck so if you don't run with convocation you might have trouble getting the aura

The flask holds it back a lot for what I'm running but who cares, I'm running sanctum, spectres can't die :P
How often do you have to use another corpse to respawn? If you log off etc?

Actually no. Spectre's level is based only on the skill gem level

Yes, specters from the wildwood don’t enter your desecrate pool.

If your playing with someone else and both of you can get +1 specter you can have like 6-10 diferent auras ?
I've got Grace, Det, Disc and the extra Phys as Lightning guy then running Haste, Precision, Tempest and Purity on myself. Could switch Phys as Lightning out - as a Guardian I also get the Hatred/Wrath/Anger Dudes with no life reservation - so one TGuardian could easily hit 12 auras.

According to poedb, totems are in fact constructs
totems are constructs, but they use player's skill, to get the buff working you need player to be construct. Same as with generosity auras, totems are affected but it makes no difference in damage
It won't work on Totem's because they use player skills, but it does work on SRS and Golems as those are constructs that use their own skills.
how does the naval officer work with champion fortify, does champion have 30 fortify at all times?
Fortify has a base maximum of 20 you can get some additional maximum fortify on the tree but I don't think it reaches 30 maximum stacks

How tanky are the specters on their own with just the 4L?
They are tanky enough for normal T16 speed farming. But not tanky enough for deli 60+ juice map.
they will die a lot to bleed, corrupting blood, detonated dead and withered+chaos. Without regen they will constantly die in rituals, ultimatums etc

I assume that mod is local. So you need to make the alchemist drink your flasks somehow (or use life flasks with the animist suffix to heal your minions, which SHOULD benefit from that modifier).
Thete is a belt that does that. But this seems kinda not right. As all the other spectres are insanely good and dont need any items to function

my guess is no. would need to say onwer has or nearby allies have.
2 auras for 4 socket gems is literally insane, i can already imagine how powerful tornado shot will be with a hatred / haste aura spectres turned on, while using determination and grace with mageblood, literally infinite damage and decently tank

So precision as a really free aura plus other benefits for a mere 4 link setup is like a best in slot unique.

Very disappointing, tried this out had the right setup and flask has lvl 18 quality 23 gems and the specteres died on my first map

Guys.. come on. For people complaining about the speed of some of the spectres. CONVOCATION IS YOUR ANSWER. And if that’s not good enough. Get the reduced cd on convocation in the passive skill trees. EASY FIX. I’m disappointed to see how many people don’t know that. You all can’t be new. Some of you, maybe. But not this many people
