One more trick that you missed (and I use this more than Orb of Horizon)
Trading 3 maps of the same type will give you a map of the next tier. Each combination of maps will give a different result, so if you take, say, 5 coves maps and swap them around until you find the next tier map you need.
Yeah it's crazy he missed this. There's only so many ways to get new maps, and this is a getting new maps video.

Might be worth mentioning that finding and joining an active guild helps. Ours has a map tab for people to freely add/remove any maps that are in there.

FYI: You can finish all 115 maps without going above T5. 3 words: Explorer's Scouter Report. As long as you have Kirac's missions, those little scrolls and map, that you want to unlock is Rare and Corrupted - it will count, even if it's natural T16, while being T1.
Granted, that you will need to build your map pool after. Buuuut at League start, while you most likely not equipped for T16's - really handy. So rush as fast as you can to Commissioned Officer and Expert Reconnaissance.

The trade is Poe is definitely broken. There should be no need for further intervention if you set an item for sale and set exact price. System could take care it all and leave payment on it’s place when the item is sold.
I’m a new player, what comes to trade but have very bad taste about it.
At first, I went back to my hideout as soon as I got the request, then searched the item and sent invitation. 2 out of 3 didn’t come.
Now I send both request from the map and travel to hideout only after last one is accepted. Now 2 out of 3 leave before I have time to search the item. It’s impossible to do in 5s, which seems to be the maximum time for most.
This info is game changing for me. Ive been playing forever and just tired to do it with my own drops

A thing that helps me every league is playing with friends. We join each others map only during the boss kill, and it counts for the challenge.

Oh. My. God.The bulk buy option for maps is such a time saver.
GGG could really improve our QoL if they implement an auction house for trading currency, shards and maps.
We'd rather die from their interesting league mechanics and go blind from the beauty of the supporter pakcs before they add comfort to the game
To be honest, I don't really know why I clicked this Video. Maybe it's because I'm pretty new to poe and I simply wanted to know how things work. Nonetheless I don't want to rush through the Atlas just to farm currency and call it a day.
But the moment he starts to explain how to click things together in the market I was disgusted!
Let me tell you. I've been through that with D3 and it ended up as the worst game experience I've ever had. There is a huge difference between trading like it is in poe and an auctionhouse as an intrinsic part of the game! It is not just 'qol'.
While I want one, I do recognize that this game attracts mathematicians, polymaths, day traders,and theoretical physicists lol. If there was an automated way to buy stuff, 3 or 4 dudes with programming skills would be bezos AF and mess up the economy even more.

Another pro tip when it comes to buying one or more of the same item. Sort trades by time! And dont use bulk trade. People who recently posted are very more likely to sell you x quantity of Y since they are probably at the chest listing stuff. I hear this in global all the time that no one is responding to divine trades. Just use normal trade, sort by time and you will get a trade in seconds.
The pure common sense of your last two videos earned you a sub man.
say you have 10 of one map. but you need the tier up random one. you can put 3 in to sell if the wrong map pops up just undo the top map and try a diff one of the same map till the right one you need pops up. just vary the same map but with different of the same and you can get multiple maps with same map trade now. might sound confusing but its how i do it. and i also buy to fill in the gaps. but ya buying is fastest. thanks for showing the tip on how to buy multiple though.
I have 115 ourt of 115 but still no sockets for voidstones, what do I do?
I usually just buy any white or red maps I need. Usually they only sell for 1 or 2 c.

You need maps to farm currency, you need currency to buy maps. You have no currency. Fun times
Great tips! Learned several new things that may help. The RNG gods are whipping my @$$ this league. Drops have been the worst of any league so far. Two weeks in and not a single Devine drop. Only sold one item for 85 chaos. All my currency is coming fro the chaos recipe. Going to put these tips to use this weekend.
How do I get voidestones faster? I'm still at 2. I need maven and the elder(I think or maybe shaper idk, I lack knowledge in this part of thing). I have 8 Maven Wits but it takes realllly long. Should I just buy my way to them? As in, buy the rest of the wits and buy the fragments to fight the elder?
Pay for a carry is the easy way, there is a guy that spams in trade chat pretty often selling carries for 40c or so

great video & one more good tip that helps me every league is if you have friends you can trade eachother and help eachother with the atlas same for guild maybe even a cosy global channel :)

A better trick I use to buy maps for low cost is to only msg player that posted the item recently, so you know they want even 1-2chaos, trust me, is faster :)

I am only playing this game for four years now, so a total noob, and never realized Kirac missions can be non-native tier... I always dismissed non-corrupted red maps from his missions. *facepalm*
