So, I've been playing off-and-on since beta and there were definitely things in here I had no clue about. The biggest was that trading 3 maps to get 1 tier above, I never understood why I always saw the same map, like in your example vaal pyramid. I typically just go trade for missing maps and now I understand how the mechanic works. Mechanic 239 of 4089104 understood, thanks!

About to go into t1 white maps at level 80 because I’ve been enjoying myself doing all sorts in the wrong order on my scuffed build😂 definitely going to take next season slower and follow a build better, these videos all help a bunch
Good stuff. I would love a montage of the gear upgrades when you do a league start. Take note of when your are in hitting maps I would think and what piece you have in each slot and how you got it. Then, in yellow show each item and how it was made and what not, then red, then late game/bosses. Something like this, but using what you actually did for your build. I thinking making it 1:1 with whatever league start video you produce will help out a lot of people.
GGG just needs to do a better job at making their games playable without 3rd party sites and apps. When before have we needed to research SO MUCH? Don't dare just play the game without a POB build since it's hard to respect earlier in the game. You want to attempt to craft well you better use a website for that. Oh you don't know how the cards, jewels, and other game mechanics work.... Better research that. Want to attempt end game...? Well there's a lot more research. I left out a lot too. Come on GGG make this stuff easier so beginners aren't as intimidated and we don't have to spend hours in the beginning researching your game rather than playing your game. Sure in the end there is some pay off, but it doesn't have to be this complex to still have a lot going on.
I have a regular degree…. Its different I think experience is basically the only way to learn in poe. Literally just play and google exact phrases when stuck
I've basically played through the entire TotA league before realizing I could unlock a fifth map device slot with breach stones. Being able to put another Fragment or Scarab in every time is huge if it's accumulated over all the maps you play throughout the league. Don't forget your 5-slot unlock, bro's!
@zizaran topic map crafting: is it possible to craft unique maps too with the method you've shown (mix 3 random maps to get a tier better map)?? Greetings and thanks for the good work. Very helpful for new players like me 👍🙏
guys help. finished campagin. too weak, keep dying. how do i get better items if i cant complete a map and get further into endgame? my life is real low, 1.8k. managed to complete first map b ut got no points for the tree? kinda feel stuckl right now, not sure how to proceed
Great video, but portals are closed when entering not upon death or leaving. Otherwise you could enter the map, leave the party and make a space in the original party for another person and unless you leave the map there would still be 6 portals left. Not really important, but a small clarification.

….dont be ashamed of it takes you way too long. My og campaign play through took 90 hours 😂 I just wanted to do everything. I looked and touched and questioned and rebuilt and blah blah blah. Now it’s smoother sailing but.. figuring everything out takes some time. Your first playthrough can’t take more time than mine did so don’t worry 😂
people dont mention often to beginners that is okey to die. Even pro players die like 500+ times per league. Poeple often decide to drop game because they die a lot.
Just played with some new friends in some juiced maps which I have never been able to myself and HOLY SHIT !!! Running around like a chicken trying to decide what to pickup with my limited carrying stash !! OMG !!!! This league I finally made it to regular plain ed maps and still am too weak ! Seen drops I have never seen before !
Poe players coming up with their entire own economy and individual lesson modules as 30 min - 1hour++ guides just to see funny numbers go up and fps go down. Now if you'll excuse me, i have numbers to raise and games to crash.
voidstones are ridiculous as new player the fact that it cost like 7div to ATTEMPT uber elder then you lose all your portals because you have no idea whats is going on like whhyyy the weird thing is its like voidstones are almost mandatory to efficiently farm currency too so if you fail like how are you going to farm currency back up to TRY AGAIN? uhh good luck its like go grind for 20 hours for a CHANCE to try again? idk man what kind of system is that!

You opened the game to show us one of the most powerful things we can do. Maybe slow down so we can actually see wth you are doing? Not impressed with how fast you can play with your mouse.
It's pretty straightforward. If you have multiple maps you've already done you can sell 3 for a higher map and you can rejig the order to change the map.

I have a Ph.D in molecular biology and it was easier than understanding the totality of Path of Exile and wtf I'm doing.......

It's a four way legion encounter that unlocks the 5th map slot
Maps start dropping in Act 7 after you complete Maligaro's map, with Sin asborbing his essence.
