Where did you start with this one! I completely forgot to mention (I think because it has been standard for so long) that The More 1 is a 64 Channel instrument (a lot of the competitor products have 15-20 channels)
The wind-noise reduction is very effective & a few of these features deserve a video on their own right as there is so much more detail I could go into. The Oticon More 1 definitely one to shortlist!

There are some patients that although may now receive the benefit of improved hearing do not find an improvement in tinnitus symptoms by using an aid it is recommended that if patients find tinnitus distressing they seek a medical referral.

Thank you! You can use the Nanocare type with yours but will try to do one for your specific aids as soon as possible.
Just found this video. Thank you. Had been trying to use Resound Ones but there were many issues we (Audiologist and I) just couldn’t get resolved. After trying Phonak and Oticon, went with Oticon More 2s which will arrive in a week after a custom mold being made. This video was very precise and needed.
We are fully independent & can offer any device but we have to admit we are very taken with the More's!

I recently got myself a pair of Oticon More One hearing aids. They did get professionally fitted, including a Real Ear Measurement procedure (essential IMHO). The Oticon More One hearing aides are good, very good actually, and I have a few other ones I tried to compare them with. (But a good audiologist is essential to ensure they are programmed to you specific hearing loss scenario).

Great video, thanks! I'm trying the Oticon More 2's at the moment, and wonder if the 1's would be significantly better and worth spending the extra money? I have just mild to moderate hearing loss in the upper registers (2-3K range). Thanks!
Thank you Tim. I have literally only fitted the More 1's but something I go by is get the best you can afford without blowing your budget, there will always be a newer better hearing aid somewhere down the line. The reason we have always exclusively had premium orders of Oticon devices (been fitting them since the Opn) the 1 versions give the most Brain 🧠 Support so Oticon do recommended the 1 unless your budget will not allow then just get the best you can.

I'm 62 and about to get my first set of hearing aids for age related hearing loss. I also suffer from tinnitus which I think I've probably had all my life as I've never known anything different, but I think it's increasing with age. I'm not that interested in streaming music through the aids but I am a musician and want to be able to hear well when playing in different sized ensembles and also when I'm conducting a group. My research so far is drawing me towards the Oticon More but I'm struggling to find information on their suitability for musicians - in your experience are these aids more or less suitable for musicians than other aids, and if so, why? Many thanks!
Thanks for your questions Rose. Our experience with the More 1 is that you may need the feedback manager switched off in a stand-alone music mode to avoid some strange effects. We did this for a patient & afterward they were very happy. Re your tinnitus, just the amplification alone may help, but if you are still aware of it a tinnitus mode a program like the auto with all noise reduction switched off & some environmental sound ie Ocean Sound 3 might be an even better solution.

It really depends what you want! Superb connectivity a narrow beam option & the ability to use Roger Mics directly or MoreSound! (All of our orders have been More 1's so I can't give any personal views on the 3 but I think it is a bit of a taste & see scenario!
How does the More 3 compare to say the Paradise P70? Veterans Affairs here in Canada normally can get the Advanced models for us but Oticon will only provide the basic model for Veterans in Canada (I hope they treat their Danish Vetrans better). I like the More which I am trialing now, but I find t has way to much noise. If the Wife is in the kitchen and I am trying to watch TV it is almost impossible with all the noise in the kitchen. Because the Paradise P70 actually has noise reduction it is better. But the one down fall I found with the Paradise was there TV Connector is really noisy, lots of hiss etc. that they could not get rid of, but the Unitron TV Connector was extremely quiet like the More's. But the Unitron was basically the model before the Paradise. What a dilemma.
Hi Sheldon. We constantly want to take features from a variety of aids to create “the perfect aid”. I couldn’t comment too much on the More 3 as we have had a very large amount of orders & fittings but they have all been for the More 1. The overall feedback has been extremely positive. The 3 would technically be one level below the P70 (again we have only fitted the 90’s) but although not as popular as the More’s with us people seem to like the app & the connectivity the TV streamer is also very small. I agree that although the Unitron equivalent seems to be a similar device it appears to be a Marvel equivalent. The More 3 being a lower spec model will have less noise reduction & adjustments available than the More 1. I find using a TV streamer usually helps with filtering out external noises, I’m a little bit unsure why you would be getting the interference that you are. I would be inclined to check with their tech department to see if it is the aids, connection cable, TV Streamer & see if it can be resolved.
@@zone1hearing I did try talking to Phonak, but never heard back from them. The audiologist tried a few things too to no avail, in total we tried 3 TV Connectors. Yes we would all like to pick and choose the features we like, but we all know we can't. I was just asking a question do to the fact that Oticon only hands out the Basic level verses other makers Advanced levels.
@@sheldons231 Sorry about Phonak's lack of helpfulness. With Phonak you have 4 performance levels & with Oticon More 1-3 then the Ruby 1 & 2. I guess you could say that the More 3 is their mid-level device & in some respects (the Deep Neural Network 48 channels) is more advanced than other manufacturers second tier devices bit I think only Oticon could answer that question really.
How much would a pair of 1’s run?
Depends on what country you are in, whether you are looking at bundled or unbundled and which model you are looking at battery/rechargeable/regular charger/portable charger and the provider you are going to also what services they provide.
