Which means that LGPE is set a few years after its same-story counterparts, unlike every other Pokémon remake which takes place at the same time but in a different timeline. Also, we know thanks to some dialogue that Sabrina has in LGPE, that if they ever make a Let's Go Johto game, then they will be set three years after LGPE, making it *also* affected by this skewed reality.
Yeah, I probably should have given a bit more clarification on that, but what I personally wanted was a whole new story with new events, instead of what is essentially (outside the universe explanation) a retelling of the adventure that we already went through. Didn't know about that dialogue from Sabrina though, which is quite disappointing for reason that you've explained.
