I find it hilarious that the game gave you a canonical reason for Link to be the silent protagonist even though he's not the playable character, and then after you save the day and he gets his voice back, THE ENTIRE SCENE IS MUTED SO HE'S STILL THE SILENT PROTAGONIST 🤣
Makes you wonder what are they doing for the movie? Like…. The newest installment in the series has Link mute, again… It seems like he’ll be mute for the movie too, riiight? I’m genuinely so excited and curious LOL
I love how since BOTW they give us insight as to why Link is mute/ doesn't talk much, in BOTW he doesn't talk in cutscene because of anxiety, which then gets better after his 100 year sleep because no one knows him anymore (and this is why we have funny dialogue option, the guy is actually a bit silly), and here because he lost his voice to the rift. I love that. I really like how we get to see Link from other's point of view
People who are watching this for the first time do not undertand just how long crow spent on attempting to trap the guards in the prison, this doesnt do the pain justice 😭😭😭
I was wondering if he was going to mention that lol. It’s like he wanted to test every strategy equally before doing what seemed a little more likely to be the smarter choice. And then it took him that much longer to actually succeed getting past the ones in the big room. I sucked at that part haha
I love how elegantly they designed this game while also making the puzzles flexible enough to accommodate so many solutions. There were so many moments where I was mind blown with the design and how *fun* it was, especially in the final dungeon where you fight alongside Link. Super wholesome storytelling too. Thank you Eric for the playthrough!
So this new Zelda game has Zelda as the main protagonist, uses a wand that can copy almost anything, has you on a quest to save Hyrule including the King and Link and putting Ganon into a coma with a bed. Close enough… *welcome back, Wand of Gamelon*

So about Ganon. Ganon (the one from the beginning) is the real one, however he is a pawn to Null as Tri states in the fight between Zelda and Ganon (and his comment about "master"). And as told by Lumberry in his diaries, Ganon CAME from the rift, so the demon king's habitat is the home of Null. The story and lore in this game is honestly so fascinating.
Ganon now knows what it’s like to be Zant. For context, in Twilight Princess Zant was pretty much the main villain until the last 3rd of the game when it’s revealed that Ganondorf was actually main villain out of nowhere. Now in Echoes of Wisdom Ganon was the main villain until the last 3rd (technically it’s more halfway through but you get the idea) where Null is revealed to be the actual/main villain out of nowhere. So in some weird way, Zant got Ganondorf/Ganon back for taking the role of the main villain from him. Also does anyone else feel that the Great Deku Tree’s inclusion was unnecessary since he doesn’t really do anything besides tell you where missing echoes are (which you probably already got most of or could look up online).
I was worried because I’d seen part of a playthrough already on some channels I wouldn’t be able to enjoy this as much, but your style and humour and the phenomenal editing made this such a clean and enjoyable video that it doesn’t feel like it’s nearing 4 hours long, it’s so easy to just simply fall into and enjoy. man, what a good game the singular issue i have with the whole thing is that the dancer outfit (objectively the most useful) covers zelda's mouth, and since there's a high chance of ppl wearing it for the final boss the mouth beign covere means those ppl miss the moments during the ending when zelda goes from frowning to smiling, or when she speaks up without the 'talking' animation. it's really unfortunate since that detail was one of the most impactful parts of my playthrough, but anyone who uses the dancer outfit will miss it that honestly is my only gripe though, and it's frankly superficial. all around good game
I've been watching parts of this video as I've been playing through the game myself over these past few days. Did all the sidequests and just finished the game. I actually really enjoyed this game. I hope we get another Zelda, Zelda title in the future sometime. If they can figure out another way wisdom could be used.
this could lowkey fit between minish cap and skyword sword because what if null is what corupted vati and he could also be an evil version of tri left by the energy of demise. and then once you defeat vati left over energy from null corupts gannondorf for generations. But then there is a gannon echo so it could be after the adventures of link or four swords adventures probably after the adventures of link. Still so many theriors on where this could be In the timeline tho.
I wonder if the still world is actually the alternate world from Link to the Past. Without Null around to consume whatever ends up there, it might make sense that a world slowly appeared there over time.

Theory: Echos of wisdom is further in the past in BOTW and the river zora either died or were forced to move somewhere entirely else
It would be really cool if they did an echos of courage game where you play through the still worlds almost exclusively as Link. Then you team up with Zelda (maybe making it a two player game for post game content)
I like how both crow and smant’s first idea was to trap the guards

The realization got me bro 😂😂
“OOOH WAIIIIIIT”
I love how this game makes you so genuinely excited to see Link at the end. Like omg YES that’s my friend and also the hero let’s gooooo!!
man, what a good game
the singular issue i have with the whole thing is that the dancer outfit (objectively the most useful) covers zelda's mouth, and since there's a high chance of ppl wearing it for the final boss the mouth beign covere means those ppl miss the moments during the ending when zelda goes from frowning to smiling, or when she speaks up without the 'talking' animation. it's really unfortunate since that detail was one of the most impactful parts of my playthrough, but anyone who uses the dancer outfit will miss it
that honestly is my only gripe though, and it's frankly superficial. all around good game
I've been watching parts of this video as I've been playing through the game myself over these past few days. Did all the sidequests and just finished the game. I actually really enjoyed this game. I hope we get another Zelda, Zelda title in the future sometime. If they can figure out another way wisdom could be used.
1:24:54 it was a nice touch that the light at the top of the door is in the shape of the sacred stone from ocarina of time.
Just finished my play through of Echoes of Wisdom, so I can finally watch your video on this masterpiece of a game, Crow.
this could lowkey fit between minish cap and skyword sword because what if null is what corupted vati and he could also be an evil version of tri left by the energy of demise. and then once you defeat vati left over energy from null corupts gannondorf for generations. But then there is a gannon echo so it could be after the adventures of link or four swords adventures probably after the adventures of link. Still so many theriors on where this could be In the timeline tho.
The 56 nuggets of wisdom are literally the 57 precepts of zote from hollow knight
13:27 it’s not just a rock, it’s a boulder
5:28 This is what happens when I see a dog in a video game. It should be a crime for a dog to not be petted.
Link shot a zonite bow relating back to totk
24:41 “ I feel like most of this platform, and could be solved with beds” yes and RT did that lol
you're the best walkthrough player! you make everything so entertaining :)
I love the extended point crow vids
I wonder if the still world is actually the alternate world from Link to the Past. Without Null around to consume whatever ends up there, it might make sense that a world slowly appeared there over time.
