    That was amazingly, Beautiful, as a Star Trek fan all of my life the USS Enterprise 1701 refit has been and always shall be the best Starship ever created and you have done it a great honor with this cgi version. And the music from First Contact set it off greatly. Thank You and God Bless

  • @SGTBizarro

    2:39 is one of the most nostalgic pieces of the TMP soundtrack for me. The music practically speaks "adventure", it's so optimistic and full of the wonder of the unknown.

  • @colanitower

    Always liked this way of leaving orbit and approaching a destination. Cautious, on impulse power. It looks so much more professional than the direct jumps in and out you see nowadays.

    • @timhens1674
      @timhens1674 6 лет назад +1

      If I was a President of a planet I wouldn't allow a star ship any where near it. If it exploded in orbit I get the idea it would rip a big hole in the atmosphere.

      I'd like to see more love given to this era of ships and less 1701-F, G, X, and Z(Sovereign class is a beautiful ship but ones imagined since then have been ridiculous). There's a whole slew of classes imagined by the developers of FASA's Star Trek The Role Playing Game and Star Trek Battles I'd love to see rendered.

    Very well done! Now time to binge watch all the movies :-) My best memory was going to see Wrath with my dad when it first came out, he was an electrical/mechanical engineer for the govt. but never watched a futuristic movie or space tv show in his life, his reaction and comments to the battle scenes were priceless. I knew in his mind he was trying to figure out how they had so much power and he was shocked to see the damage they could do. My dad designed torpedo propulsion systems. A great memory I'll always have thanks to the Star Trek legacy.

    • @WKZworks
      @WKZworks 5 лет назад +10

      Maybe not when he created it initially, but I'm sure he had more than enough time to realize it upon seeing the success of the franchise in his later years. He didn't pass away until '92, and by then "Star Trek" was very much an established runaway hit.

      Of course the movie model is better. But as some one who loves the original series I have explained it away. The constitution class has thick armor the enterprise class has armor but use it defense fields as regenerative armor. All because it can generate lots more energy.

    I don't think I've seen the orange glow from the impulse engines being reflected from other parts of the ship before. Interesting. They indeed ought to be very bright! (Though I'd think they would be at least blue-white hot, but they've always been shown as orange or red.)
    Still my favorite version of the Enterprise.
