I think you're making this more your own than some of your other covers. E.g. the organ is beautiful. What is that guitar, a J-180? Looks like a J-2000 too.
It looks like that guitar is either a sunburst that was overpainted black and is wearing off, or at least purpose made to give that feeling. I don't recall the details but this was common for Fender in the 60s but I can't remember exactly why. Maybe there was some workflow where sunbursts were repainted solid if the sunburst wasn't great? I believe black Gibson Les Pauls were actually solid mahogany, while the sunbursts had pretty maple tops, and thus actually sounded substantially different depending on color. However I think at least some goldtops had maple tops and some are refinished to match the appearance of the sought-after sunburst LPs. Anyway, that would make a black maple-top (which this would have been) pretty unusual though I think there were at least a few such from Gibson in the 50s.

@@lqr824 thank you so much for that info! Im a huge guitar nerd and I loved reading this! The sunburst theory makes a lot of sense. At 2:31 you can clearly see the burst on the edge. So so cool.
Garrett Mitchell... I don't see Murphy bringing in Mitchell until there is a need. Watch for "official" reasons as to why Garrett Mitchell just isn't quite ready to get back on the field. He's ready, but Murphy isn't ready to use Mitchell just yet.
Almost perfect. But the lead singer needs to back away from the mic. Over bearing and overwhelms the other artist. Coming from a sound man. I would have backed you down to balance the song.
You guys are freaking awesome!!!!
These guys are going to do big things in their music career. From the southeast corner of iowa standing on some ice river ice fishing. We hear you
Sounds great here. Great chops, mix and vocals. Even better when I saw them live!
Effortless….love it….you would go down a storm down under ……..
Damn she's got a voice of an Angel
Just Awesome! Love the energy and harmonies.

In the words of Robert Redford (in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid) who *are* these guys?! This ain't no garage band.
Lovely.

This song is dedicated to my cousin Michael Hobson's wife Grace Hobson (nee Maingard).
Mix needs a bit more acoustic. I have a hi-end hi fi here (Krell 400xi and B&W Signature 805s) and can't hear it.
Nice voices. Lose the sunglasses.
The design on that black les paul is super unique. Not your daddy's gibson

Love the cover... just a shame that Dodd acts as though he's the most important member of the band.
