Love this voice. Great tight cover.
She sings it great, fine voice. You can understand every word she's saying too, whereas Petty is somewhat garbled. The rest of the band is also awesome as well. They've got this song nailed. Bravo.

Nice band..but that lead voice is annoying and not at all appropriate for this song (imo).
Why does anyone care about this? One of probably millions of covers by people who can't produce anything of value on their own. The singer has NONE of the desperation and passion that Tom Petty was able to show. Garden variety at best.
The girl singer is cute and the cover is as good if not better than many others. Tom is dead and any cover at this point is homage to him.
Why should the American Girl express "desperation and passion" when she lived in a land of Opportunity and Possibility. This was as, a reasonable expression as any.

Actually it's a brilliant cover of Tom's song.
It has just enough of Troubourdoor's uniqueness to be an honorable cover song in homage to T.P.'s original. Could you do better??
