For anyone curious: All the equipment used in this video is listed in the description. I do this on all my videos!
I have always appreciated this. Thanks for taking the time to document it!
The sound you can achieve in your apartment is really amazing.
@@tjjenkin42 you should hear what he did with Black water in a tour bus
Fantastico!
@@zeboe I love that one too !!!
Lovely to see Elle and Toni on the channel again
Elle on bass - a first? Another top performance by all!
Not just here, it’s nice to see Elle and Toni anywhere. Ever since Elle’s discovered she’s also good at shorts comedy, seems like all the music has stopped. I know fans miss her and Toni still doing music but seems to never happen anymore.
@@tenplex Came here to comment on this! She's a brilliant writer and impressive musician. Can't get enough of her in either role!
@@tenplex came here to say the same. but i think they've just been taking a break after working together a lot for a long time.
Look how much fun she is having playing that killer McVie riff!
I just lost/gained the last 4 hours of my life going down the Josh Turner rabbit hole, and it all started with this song. Thanks for making me 40 years younger today. I love you for it.
My daughter turned me onto his stuff. Now I'm a huge fan. I don't feel younger, but it's great to hear people under 50 doing this stuff.
I feel you bro. This happened to me about 3 years ago. Played something like 30 videos in a row and burned away half a Saturday.
Oh dude, if you've never heard Ozzie Osborne's Crazy Train done on banjo, you haven't heard nuthin' Josh is the man.
@@roberterdman7268For me it started a few years ago with Muse - Resistance cover. A few days in a row till I watched every single video.
His version of Sultans of Swing started me off…
Let’s spare a moment to applaud the drummer, who nails the iconic drum part.
Does the drummer have his wallet on his drum? to get the sound right?
@@josephtroy374 Ha! Looks like it. Also a subtle reminder to Josh about getting paid?
@@slowerpicker If it's heavy enough to be a damper, I think he's doing pretty well already😂🤣😂
@@josephtroy374 there's a piece of cloth over the skin. it controls the reverb. The wallet is holding the cloth in place
Elle’s smile at 3:39. Every bassist knows why. Just one of the coolest sections in rock history.
You don't need to be a bassist - I smiled too - in anticipation.😉
To all you gearhead drummers, this guy just nailed it with one cymbal and one tom with gaffa and sheets and some production talent from Josh, no doubt.
Doesn't take more than hearing those opening 8 or so bars to know this cover is going to be legendary. ✨
Exceptional, even by these musician’s standards.
That was EXACTLY what I thought too!
Amen bro
This cover is gonna be Legen...wait for it...dary! Legendary!
Just seeing that Josh is involved shows me it's going to be Epic. His talents put him on a short list of Prodigies. And he has surrounded himself with so many other talents and allows them to have the light too. These two ladies, for example, will have bright careers if they elect to stay in the industry.
The talent in that room cannot be over stated - including Damon and Jason.
The smile on Elle's face during that bass solo. Love it.
It's just so iconic - and she crushed it!
It just kept getting better and better. Elle's bass solo and Toni's electric guitar solo were the best.
The difference between the 70's and today, is that back then I wore out my Rumors Album from playing it so often. Homework, hanging out with friends, chores, babysitting etc. Today, I can hit a button and hear the scratchless version over and over. Thank you for reminding me of those wonderful, carefree youth days with one of my favorite songs growing up.
And video.
Also Elle playing that bass line...Superb!!!! This bass player approves!
Good to see Elle and Toni again!
There are no unused superlatives to descibe the music that these four young people make together. Absolutely stupendous! And give top marks to Josh for the level of intensity reflected in his face during the vocals.
2:12: that moment toni nails that lick and Josh smiles; you can see the smile still lingering at the next shot of them. That's it; that's the feeling that made me learn guitar and stick with it all these years. I love, it both your guitars sound so nice but Toni's was just sounding so mean riffing. the tone ahhh, so good . Well done all around what a full beautiful cover. Those high support vocals from Elle in the background were super crispy in the best way. I love all you guys and I feel so fortunate to be able to listen and feel the wonderful talent of well practiced musicians.
THIS is how you start a weekend! FANTASTIC!!
Josh covering Fleetwood Mac? Instant click.
What a cover, wow.
Excellent seeing Toni rocking the guitar! Great performance!!!
We need you in our world right now. You are saving so many people’s sanity. Including mine. Thank you for your unbelievable talent and your gift to all of us listening and loving your vibe and your absolute professionalism and ability.
I love how not only is the music from the 70's, so is josh's shirt! I think I dropped that shirt off at the Goodwill in 1985! Great Music!
Saw this as I was about to do the dishes. Paused straight away and broke out the headphones to give it the best audio experience I could. So here I am standing in the kitchen with a pile of dishes with a pure smile of joy and happiness on my face and in my heart and I listen and watch this perfection. The Universe just healed it self a little bit. Thank you Josh, Toni, Elle, Kellie, and co.
YES! AMAZING! CONSUMATE PROFESSIONALS! WATCHING YOU ALL GROW MUSICALLY, PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY and EMOTIONALLY has made me a VERY PROUD FOLLOWER. 💐💐💐💕💕💕
Amazing
This upload caused worldwide IT outages
Lol 😂
Folks tuning in decades from now to watch Josh’s timeless covers will not understand this comment…
Hahahahahahahaha!
😂😂😂
No flights in or out of Charleston SC 🤦🏼♀️
Loving the tone on Josh’s guitar. So crisp, sounds like a banjo. Outstanding job everyone.
I love to see young people embracing great music from the past. Create new, but don't forget the old. Thank you for a great video.
Musikalisch, handwerklich, schon immer eines der größten Talente.
Josh ist inzwischen erwachsen geworden.
Jetzt ein Gralshüter leibhaftigen, gelebten Musikverständnis.
Danke.
Gott sei mit Dir
Toni, Elle and Josh 3 people who are keeping music alive and enjoyable! Keep up the great work, the world needs more of this! ❤
Josh, your vocals on this are great. I appreciate the way you let Toni shine, giving her responsibility for lead guitar. She's very talented. The harmonizing was very nice as well. Once again, Kelly did an outstanding job of capturing it all on video. Well done!
The look of concentration on Josh's face. Most of the time Josh and all his talented friends make it look easy. of course we don't see all the prep time. Even Toni and Elle look like they are putting in some overtime on this one. Well worth the work. Thank you.
Spot on observation. This song isn't just a jam....it's a true composition that breaks down if every piece isn't performed just right. Every dynamic and bit of silence is important to the whole. Look for covers of this song on RUclips by people who don't get the details right and the song turns into a mess.
I’ve followed Josh’s channel since he was in high school in Charlotte. He never ceases to amaze me with his talent. Thanks again Josh, you made my day again.
There is a definite pattern emerging over the last few years: you choose your songs carefully, and with limited resources produce a cover version that is kind of better than the original. And I really love the originals. Really good job.
Looking forward to seeing you again in the UK in a few weeks' time.
Ah the super group is back again. So much incredible talent. Always love your collaboration.
Carson is missing
@@JackFlaps true. Another very talented player.
Not many are brave enough or talented enough to cover this. Excellent.
Love to see Toni's singing highlighted. Also Elle on bass is a new one...
My favorite Fleetwood Mac song. Done pretty much perfectly.
That's sooo wonderful😍😇😍! I was 16 when Rumors came out - and this LP has accompanied me and millions of other people of my generation throughout their whole lives. You really nailed the spirit of this great song perfectly. I had to fight back tears when I saw and heard your cover. Thank you so much 🙏!
That gal's guitar solos bring a tear to my eyes every time. She's got the feel of the song - and then some.
The ANGST I felt, the exquisite pain... as I have watched these friends spin off collaborations and crush successes, I felt such a vacuum in my soul even as I celebrated the stellar success of the ByGones, the continued genius of Elle and Toni, I feared the paths could diverge and break the the jewel that RDC & The Other Favorites had made. So happy to see this!! So happy!
Elle on Bass and Toni rockin' out!
Fleetwood Mac, Josh Turner and Elle & Toni. I think nothing can make me happier today
Josh's "save save save" symbolizes all the hardships of home recording. Playing that stuff is already amazing enough and putting it all together isn't a trivial thing either.
And the room was ‘flipped’ so a fantastic cover of The Chain could be played…..
Magic!!
Tony nailed that solo! I knew she was good but that was next level, Lindsey would approve of that one for sure! All in all, a great job by you all. Just brilliant.
This is where it really shows how much you folks have performed together. There is a level of comfort and musicality together that only comes from having made a lot of music with each other. This turned out really good.
Nailed it. One of those arrangements that has to be just right. PS Mick Fleetwood is one of the few drummers I can pick out by style: Your guy Jason did him justice.
Great to see Elle and Toni are still alive and kicking - I was really starting to worry with their channel being silent for so long. And what a fantastic song to find out with!
Close your eyes and you are transported back to the 70’s. What a talented group!!
And they’re back!!!
Elle ROCKS on bass!
That sustained base line gave me goose bumps.
Me too and I’m old enough to have seen Fleetwood Mac perform it live.
Not gonna lie, the Star Trek techno babble Elle landed me here. You are all so talented. Seriously.
Josh can play everything and sing everything.
I remember being 12 years old in the summer of '77 when our family took our vacation. I remember my dad playing this song (the whole Rumours album, in fact) on his 8-track as we drove down to Disney World. Other 8-tracks that he had that we listened to were Peter Frampton (who was HUGE at the time), Hotel California, ELO, and Wings Over America. Great memories!!
Your Dad taught you well!
My mother and her girlfriend took my brother and I north on the PCH from Palos Verdes that same summer. Only add in earth wind and fire and you could have been in the e150 with us. What a great summer to take the coast north, listen to great music. Great year to be 12. Dang, thanks man.
Great summer for a road trip.
@@robertewalt7789 Exactly!
I see any of these three, I hit the like button. When I see all three I smash that like button.
Same!
You can find an another video here. I think they were doing videos together mostly in the past
I love how it's so faithful to the original, and yet at the same time Josh and friends put their own stamp on it. Very well done.
Did I forget to say the clarity and the tone and the cleanness were also excellent? Every player/aspect is 5 star!
I'm so glad to see Elle and Toni! I was getting worried. Thank you for this.
You nailed it guys
Josh and Toni are possibly the two best guitar players on RUclips!
I'd love to see one or both of them tackle Lindsey Buckingham's solo acoustic version of Big Love. FM brought two guitarists in after Lindsey's departure.
No matter the genre, style, or arrangement, I will watch Josh and his crew do any song. He and they are everything I love about music.
I totally agree. Been watching him and his friends since they were in high school. 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
You ran through the shadows perfectly .
So good, as usual guys
This is in my opinion one of your best covers by far. Really good harmonics too. I love your videos, well done!
Outstanding cover thank you. Im showing my wife this video right now to validate my recent tambourine purchase...
Just practice a bit before you perform your first song to her ;-)
The tambourine does speak the language of love
The tambourine does speak the language of love
Go tambourine !
What a surprise to see Damon here, love his covers on tiktok
I am a strong 61 year old macho guy, but I cry with immense-joy everytime I watch this.
Never disappointed, when clicking on these very talented people, thank you.
My 3 favorite people on youtube. Cant say enough how much finding your guys music has improved my life.
Great to see this group back together!! You rock this tune!! And it's especially great to see Elle and Toni again. I really miss Sunday mornings.
You guys are great. I'm 73 and you play so many songs that are close to my heart and do it well.
Love that electric guitar sound. Nice harmony.
Excellent performance! Loved it :)
Absolutely spectacular. The iconic bass line into the guitar solo was the best part and the camera work made all the difference
You all remain among my favourite musicians...absolutely terrific.
Production value through the roof! These young men and women are true musicians! Amazing as always!
Elle Cordova?!? What *can't* that woman do? I am in awe.
03:33 F*** me, Reina del Cid in the bass! This gave me goosebumps. Amazing cover!
Oh my, what a treat, fresh out of the oven ❤
Josh's unique talent is getting the very best out of the musicians he plays with. Elle playing the bass riff on The Chain? Quite remarkable. And truly wonderful all round.
The guy on tambourine was clearly the glue. Y'all sound great.
you guys knock it out of the park every time.
Josh and friends bring music to a technical level that is unsurpassable. Amazing work.
Best cover of this song ive ever heard.
Enjoying coffee and a croissant + Josh Turner video. Cool.
Simply marvelous!!! Such remarkable precision in timing of both vocals and instruments!! Love Elle and Toni, too, so it’s refreshing to see all your talents packed into one room again! THANK YOU!!! ❤
OMG, Mind Is Blown.
That gave me shivers.
I'm a big Fleetwood Mac fan. I did think it could be possible, but you actually made it sound better than the original.
Great work.
What a fine cover of an iconic 70s track, sung with real passion for the music. Elle crushing the bass and Toni nailing the Buckingham lick . Reina and Josh , what a team - we need so much more :-D ....Edge of Seventeen ?
YESSSSSS. THERE BACK! more of this please!!! 🎉
Missing Carson, but still awesome!
TONI is ABSOLUTELY SHREDDING!
Hallo,I'm 65years old,and I love it.
Greetings from Germany Chrissi
That was absolutely incredible. The best live performance of all time!
Definite win!! The vocals, harmonies, bass, guitars, drums, keyboard. All of it. Love that D’Angelico guitar too.
Love it when Toni sings!
Groups need to be a thing again because you all make a great group.
Love it when you guys get together! Love it when Carson joins you too.
That gave me goosebumps.
I rarely comment but, this is fantastic! Maybe it's just an itch I needed scratched today or it's just great music but, I love it. Thanks all.
Five talented musicians, 3 amazing voices, among the best recording engineering on RUclips. What a combination! Thanks for highlighting Elle and Toni's versatility as musicians as well as their vocal talents.
My first word upon reading - Ambitious. Josh's first word - Ambitious. Then proceeds to nail it. Bravo!
I've been waiting for a new vid from Elle&Toni for a while ! For it to come as a collaboration with Josh Turner is more than I could have asked for ! Awesome as usual ! Loving the legendary bass line, Elle&Toni are rocking it on bass and guitar ! Josh is killing it on the singing !
Love this. Elle is such a talent. Josh and Toni, too, but I love, love Elle.
The only thing this is missing is Carson.
