hey Truescore thanks for the video but i think to get to the off road gearbox for the tayga6436 its better to go smithville dam- island lake-drumond island instead of smithvile dam-drumond island so that you dont have to construct bridges to get to the upgrade.
Dude this was rough for me I don't have the dlc and I had to use the shitty scout 800 it took me a long time but I have a fully upgraded tayga and the tuz thanks to you.
Great guide, would of quit due to frustration with initial vehicles. I took the common advice of selling everything to get the Azov and that got me somewhere, but it's far to slow and prone to tipping for my liking. Hopefully with the Tayga upgraded, and with a good scout I can actually play the game.

I used the Yar 87 for this =) Autonomus Winch and some upgrades i think + a scout fueltank when i saw a trailer shop i fueled my tank and sold and rebought the fueltank =)
Awesome man, excellent video, I just got the game and was completing black River with the khan 39 and the trucks I rescued but now I have the tayga, the tatarin upgraded and the asov 64131 not fully upgraded, if you have a guide to upgrade it, it'll be awesome
So I guess my question is since this video is 10 months old and I know they have done rebalancing since it first launched, are these still the best and are they the best to try to get as starter vehicles? I haven't really played much in quite a long time now and I am thinking of blowing out my save and starting over fresh from the beginning.
Followed your guide but the upgrade for the special advanced gearbox was not there. I got all the available upgrades in Pedro Bay but never got the special advanced gearbox upgrade.
@TruScore Gaming, I won't deny the Tayga is a good truck, nor that the tatarin is a great scout. BUT I have said this from the beginning and stick to it now, THEIR IS NO SINGLE BEST TRUCK OR SCOUT. there is the ones you at the current time prefer using. my personal tastes go to the cat's and voron Grad and the bandit for trucks, does this make the others bad, no it does not, it is my personal preference at the time of posting this. and as good as the tayga and tatarin are they both have some major drawbacks, but then again so does my personal favorite the CAT 745C. I look forward to hearing your take on this
There is the matter of versatility and some trucks are better suited for the majority of what the game throws at you, but I do agree its really a matter of personal preference. Or as is the case with hard mode, you may be limited in your choices and have to make the best of a situation using the resources you are given.
Is the paystar still worth keeping? I personally really like this and have not ventured passed Smithville on my new vanilla world. Modded paystar was fun but took away the challenging aspect of the game.
The Tayga seems pretty weak actually. Got him early and he stucks in every piece of mud while the Fleetstar doesn't at all. Weird, as everyone puts him among the top trucks in the game. But he just doesn't cut it for me.
Then you didn't upgrade it, Tayga it's the best offroad truck but only with upgrades, then it becomes a total beast, great power and the famous tayga tires, personally i find it's best to stick with the bandit at first and then change to tayga when you got more XP to buy nicer tires
Tayga is a beast, i got Tayga at level 2 and then sold all my other trucks GMC, Fleetstar, Royal BM17 & 1 more (dont remember) and then started grinding for TUZ & upgrades for Tayga & TUZ 166 scout vehicles. The game was just an easy downhill from there on.
@@nvduk3 Nice, That's one of the best methods to get OP in early-game haha, Tayga was the only truck i used untill the Phase 4 came... As soon as it got released i went in a crazy rush to get the Zikz 605r, took me almost 3 hours to get it, now it's the truck that i use more often, but i still give the Tayga a go sometimes
@@lfr2669 Zikz 605R looks too good as per it's stats. But it's not showing up in the shop. I hope it's not DLC vehicle lol, or else will grind for that as well ✌😉

Why the hell does he keep flipping the map around in random directions each cut? It's so difficult to follow at a glance. i notice a lot of ppl do that in their videos. Just leave north as up please. Otherwise great video!
I assume he’s using mods because no one has this much money for all of the trucks and customizations or all of the upgrades in just the beginning six hours. I haven’t even been to this map yet. I suppose you can sell off every truck you find and make a good bit of money but I never made enough to buy these trusts and just happen to have all of the upgrades I need to customize everything with the best load out. What did I miss?
As a season pass holder, selling all of the DLC trucks provides a great bit of cash. The video also focuses on how to unlock all of the upgrades for these two trucks most of which are free.
Man, this was not fun. For me, I had an impossible time with the seismic location in the drowned lands. The Tayga was getting stuck all the time, I guess I need more skills
If you have the season pass i recommend that you stick with the Bandit at first, it unlocks the tires upgrades faster than others trucks and it's a better overall truck than the tayga (without upgrades of course) after you got some xp you can switch to Tayga

These are still the best starter vehicles imo, nothing has changed in that regard

Can you not just get in the truck and hit recover?
certain trucks need to be fueled up, repaired and towed somewhere to be unlocked.

Hang in there. It gets much easier once you have all upgrades

The video is great, the missions to do this are ridiculously garbage.
This first mission is like someone took their garbage outside, and destroyed it like a raccoon would, before anything else could get to it.

I think you might be able to get the tyga in 1 trip, if you bring your scout with repairs kit and fuel.
