The secret to this episode is: to love living in Europe is to enjoy the great food each region offers. Once you fallen in love with the food in Europe, you are a true European.
“And I’m going to feel sick afterward and it’s going to be wonderful” 😂🤣 I would love to go on a pistachio bakery tour! Thanks for sharing Matteo’s love of pistachio with us!
Sembrano le sette fatiche di Ercole, bravo comunque a resistere e a non morire per tanta dolcezza!😂😂 Translation. They seem like the seven labors of Hercules, however good at resisting and not dying for such sweetness😂😂
Lovely to see Aragona. You were literally one village over from my wife’s home village of Santa Elisabetta. Recommendation to anyone visiting is to pick one of these southern villages (Google research and then AirB&B!) and stay in a less touristy place - you’ll get so much more of an authentic Sicilian experience. Warning - summer temperatures are easily 40C!!!
Love your videos. I think your channel would blow up if you posted more frequently. Travel videos are edit intensive, so perhaps mixing in some less edit intensive videos would help your post frequency, and would enable more people to discover you. Italian apartment/house tours, Italian food hauls from local supermarkets, etc... I think these would be really interesting for people interested in Italy. It's another aspect of life in Italy to explore, especially for those who are thinking to make a life in Italy. Regardless keep it up!
Funny, all I keep thinking about is how, unless you have been to Italy "Sicily" people "At least Canadians" have not ever tasted Pistachio cream so they would have no concept of what these may taste. I know that when I had my first and only croissant with pistachio cream I was surprised by its deliciousness and sweetness but so thick and creamy. I am not use to having that much nut butterish in one sitting.
I think pistachio flavored things are actually pretty common in North America. I grew up with my mom making pistachio flavored cakes with pistachio jell-o mix, and nowadays almost every icecream shop has pistachio flavor (even starbucks carries sooo many pistachio drinks).
@@totallytalia Maybe I generalized based on where I live and grew up. We can barely get anything with Pistachios other than the nuts themselves. I have been able to find a couple of places that have the Pistachio gelato here. Ones in little Italy district and the other is a special European specialty shop. Might be because of the price of the nuts themselves. Not cheap.

Thank you guys! Haha let's just say that sometimes things aren't meant to be enjoyed in excess... this is one of those times! 😂 I recommend sticking to one or two treats at a time 😅
I was drooling watching you tasting all those lovely cakes. I love pistachio. 🏴
Pistachio anything in Sicily is amazing. Even on pizza but our favorite is pistachio granita!!!
Ahhh yes we agree! And we love a pistachio granita! 😍🇮🇹
That is one hell of a pistachio hit. I'm drooling....from Australia!!!
Amo il pistacchio in ogni sua forna
