That would immediately ruin the experience, have herds of tourists invading.... the quality would eventually change, too. The beauty of travel should be in discovering for oneself, and with little "hints" like this one! Grazie Mille Jessi & Alessio!!
This was so wholesome! One of the many reasons a character in my books cooks, is to make others happy. The looks on your faces when you ate that sammich - priceless :D
I just returned from 5 weeks in Italy (Rome and Perugia). Your videos were very helpful. I’m now so inspired by your trip to Sicily to plan my own visit to the island. I fell completely in love with Italy, and can’t wait to return.
"you know, when I eat really good, I go emotional." Me too Alessio. Recently back from Italy and I literally cried at every meal. Happy tears. The food there is other wordly, so simple, so fresh and a feast for my eyes, and my mouth. Delizioso!!!!
I’m Polish and watching your videos from Canada. I can’t describe the desire you create in me to travel to Sicilia right now! I hope to visit it next time I’m going home!! Greeting to both of you, amazing content! 🤗❤️
It does have a very good terrain and climate. Is the cuisine influenced at all by Greeks? I think historically that Sicily was at some point under the Greeks?
I'm watching this video just before dinner and am drooling. Those sandwiches look absolutely amazing and unlike anything I've seen here in the US. I want one so bad. That's how to make a sandwich. Viva l'Italia!
Thank you for a new video of your adventure. I could totally see you buying a home in Italy or Sicily, turning it into an airbnb & becoming tour guides. Living the good life doing what you love ❤
mi avete fatto scendere una lacrima... Staying away from my town is sometimes difficult, but seeing your nice tale brought an explosion of nostalgia! Thank for sharing this with everyone.
Borderi is my favorite Panino shop in Sicily! They are a work of art. Heading back to Sicily in February, I want to check out the panino place you showed us in Taormina. Thanks for your videos, I really enjoy them. 😊
@@ThePasinis it’s easy being sweet to such an adorable and lovely couple! That sandwich by the way… I can see why Alessio was savoring every single bite! Yummy! Love you guys🫶🏻
I have to agree with you the best panini in the world and most definitely Italy 🇮🇹 We have visited Ortigia on a couple of occasions and that is our first stop
I'm curious, since I thought paninis were always a specifically pressed sandwich. But panini just translates to "little bread", right? Is that the term for all sandwiches in Italian?
Was that Brazilian music? I’m Portuguese and Brazilian and I love Italy 🇮🇹 despite our football rivalry! Beijos e abraços da sua amiga brasileira e portuguesa. 🇵🇹🇧🇷🩰🙏🏻
Omg your videos are the best on Utube I just love how you show us so many beautiful places in Italy and that sandwich looked delicious my grandparents came from Sicily I’ve been to Palermo before but never to this market I can’t wait to go back and try that sandwich!! Thank you so sharing so much with us!! Good luck on your fertility treatments God Bless
Gosh that sandwich looks amazing and all the places you’ve been showing in the latest videos I really want to go to Sicily, but I would have to have the sandwich without the pesto because of a nut allergy 🙈🙄🤷♀️ I look forward to all your new vids :)
Alessio, what town are you from? I must keep missing it. I really enjoy your videos,,you two are awesome. If I were younger, I would love to live in Italy.
#1 sandwich in the world!? Well ya, what else is expected by Sicilians? Reasonably priced of course too, just like everything else, no ripoffs. Really enjoy both of you, but I totally understand Alessio's beliefs and tastes about food quality. That is the way you are when you are brought up exposed to surely the very best food in the world. Jessi knows that now too equally as well. I migliori auguri a entrambi.
I've been watching for the pasini's for a couple weeks now. I love their content. I have been curious what city in Italy Alessio is from? Does anyone know? Just curious.
hey alessio did u stay in belgium for a while? i used to work in kelly's irish pub and u look familliar to me for a reason i use to be a bartender there is that possible :p
I’d love to go to Sicily, never been there… the only problem: I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance and gluten intolerance so I can no longer enjoy the joys of Italian cooking: bread, pizza, pasta, mozzarella, burrata… luckily I don’t react to Parmigiano & Percorino…
@ thank you. Also, we appreciate if you share the air b and b you stayed in while you where visiting Ortigia, cantina and Taormina. We watch your video and we enjoy them very much. Don’t stop please .
What a great couple!! Enjoy all their videos. But what's with always wearing the long dresses? On holiday everyone is in shorts and summer clothes and still the long dress? I don't understand if there may be a reason for it or not. She is still a doll and her husband is mad about her for sure.
Against popular opinion I have to be honest I was sincerely disappointed. The bread was too spongey for my taste personally. It was not crispy on the outside. It was like eating rubber and the bread is a very important part of the sandwich. The mozzarella was really good and so was the tomato’s.
I can't get enough of Alessio. He is a natural in front of the camera and I love his authentic Italian influence.
So is Jessi! She’s so bright, joyful and absolutely stunning!
You should start your own tour company sharing hidden gems like this sandwich. Amazing architecture and food! 😋☀️
Come please 🙏 ❤ I have home there
I looking for you ❤

Thank you. Just amazing. Now I have to go...and eat that sandwich! Just a beautiful place.
I just returned from 5 weeks in Italy (Rome and Perugia). Your videos were very helpful. I’m now so inspired by your trip to Sicily to plan my own visit to the island. I fell completely in love with Italy, and can’t wait to return.
You and Alessio really have a blessed life together and it's such a pleasure you take us along with you❤
In pre Roman times Siracusa was one of the most powerful Greek city states of the Mediterranean. The mathematician Archimedes was born in Siracusa.
Sicily is so beautiful! I remember the foods being just so fresh all the time. I would imagine those sandwiches are unreal!
"you know, when I eat really good, I go emotional." Me too Alessio. Recently back from Italy and I literally cried at every meal. Happy tears. The food there is other wordly, so simple, so fresh and a feast for my eyes, and my mouth. Delizioso!!!!

You are welcome anytime
Ciao belos! Jessi, may I just say that your Portuguese tile pattern dresses are bringing me pure joy??❤❤❤ I love u girl!❤
I think Jessi can make any dress she wears look beautiful
I agree with Jessi, Syracuse/Ortigia was my favourite place in Sicily. The food in Sicily is the bomb!
Sicily’s food is food kissed by the sun and the volcanic soil and that is why it tastes so good.
It does have a very good terrain and climate. Is the cuisine influenced at all by Greeks? I think historically that Sicily was at some point under the Greeks?

👍👍
I'm very curious how they are compared to the ones in Firenze
Thank you for a new video of your adventure. I could totally see you buying a home in Italy or Sicily, turning it into an airbnb & becoming tour guides. Living the good life doing what you love ❤
Thank you. These videos mean so much right now. You guys are wonderful.

Can definitely relate when Alessio suddenly smiles right after you ask him if he’s hungry hahahaha. My mood all day 😂❤😂❤😂❤
Reliving memories or creating new ones, I could watch you guys traveling around Italy for hours! 💗
Emily you are soooooo NICE ❤️

The cheese! The cheese 🧀! As a turophile and cheese addict, I gotta say: the best sandwich 🥪 in the world starts with amazing cheese 🫕! 6:26
We have eaten that sandwich a couple of times and thanks for the wonderful memories!
Beautiful, you guys are living the dream. Man where I'm at those sandwiches by themselves would be about 20 buck's.
The look Alessio gave when Jessi asked if he was hungry was perfect 👌
I gotta say "spectacular" it does look like that indeed

It is so beautiful and the sandwich looked so amazing and I want one 🤗❤️😋😋

Another fabulous tour! Thanks so much!
Thanks for taking us along
Alessio, what town are you from? I must keep missing it. I really enjoy your videos,,you two are awesome. If I were younger, I would love to live in Italy.
That truly looks like an amazing sandwich from the way it was put together. Might have to add Sicily to my Italy trip 😮
I am very glad to see you guys again. I missed you. Why not just buy a pair of sunglasses?
I Am Beginning To Love Sicily And Being Neapolitan That Is A Stretch!
My mouth was literally watering as I watched the sandwiches being made! But I don't get the flames on it. What did that do to the sandwich?
I’m drooling!❤
Now that looks like a very delicious sandwich
I will try those sandwiches if I visit that town. 🥪🥪
I love your food videos!
Olive Garden sure looks different these days 🤌🏼
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🙂 now I have to go to Ortigia to eat a sandwich? 😃😃

That looked AMAZING xxx
Great video. Can you guys try making this sandwich for us on a future video. Thanks
A moment of heaven is see......
I'm going to get that sandwich when I visit next year....no meat :)
Eravate in Sicilia! La regione più grande d'Italia con la raccolta più vasta dei beni monumentali e gastronomici d'Italia.
You're making me upset all over again that I wasn't able to fit this sandwich into my one day in Ortigia last year!
I've been watching for the pasini's for a couple weeks now. I love their content. I have been curious what city in Italy Alessio is from? Does anyone know? Just curious.
Maybe that would be the town you would move to? Have you guys met Sarah and Luca from leave everything and wander?
I want to see more coffee! I know aleasio calls it brown water in America 😂
I love your dresses Jessie. You always look so feminine and elegant. I love your style.
I hope you are enjoying your live over there ❤
"Kind of sad that it's over." I identified with that! 😀
You're killing me. In a good way. 😇
Are you guys back in Italy? That sandwich looked amazing!
hey alessio did u stay in belgium for a while? i used to work in kelly's irish pub and u look familliar to me for a reason i use to be a bartender there is that possible :p
Are there any options for vegetarians? Can you also please suggest some places if you can? Love your videos. ❤
There are no options it wouldn't taste the same
Beautiful Couple❤️🙏🏼✝️‼️
Now that sandwich would actually make me tolerate eggplant (not an eggplant kind of guy, which is odd for me being Italian on my mother's side).
Going to be in Sicily in a couple of weeks
Do they ship worldwide? I want one...
If only if only I had the funds to just travel the world as my job, I’d do it. 😊
Bordieri's sandwiches or panini are considered one of the best if not the best by most gastronomic institutes.
omg that sandwich I want
I duplicated this sandwich here in 🇺🇸 and it was delicious 👌
Details, please!
I’d love to go to Sicily, never been there… the only problem: I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance and gluten intolerance so I can no longer enjoy the joys of Italian cooking: bread, pizza, pasta, mozzarella, burrata… luckily I don’t react to Parmigiano & Percorino…
any plans to visit countries from your side of the family? would love that.
anyone else drowning in their own slobber watching them make those sandwiches?
Does your sandwich have a name? For easy ordering…
What was the name of the sandwich shop?
Caseificio Borderi
@ thank you. Also, we appreciate if you share the air b and b you stayed in while you where visiting Ortigia, cantina and Taormina. We watch your video and we enjoy them very much. Don’t stop please .
okay guys, what´s the address of the sandwich place though!
what's the name of this place?
And what sandwiches did they get?
How much did that sandwich cost?
8 dollars
Name of sandwich shop. Please
Bordieri
No idea why but foods in other countries seems better than in USA!!
Cause food in the US is synthetic full of toxic ingredients.
Syracusa is my favorite, not Taormina. Taormina is beautiful but there are too many people in too small a place. Impossible to appreciate.
she looks so beautiful in all her dress.
What all is on it
Starting with the bread……. Can not find the quality of those rolls in the USA.
What a great couple!! Enjoy all their videos. But what's with always wearing the long dresses? On holiday everyone is in shorts and summer clothes and still the long dress? I don't understand if there may be a reason for it or not. She is still a doll and her husband is mad about her for sure.
io penso che i panini di MCDonald siano meglio.. :))
So with your travels where is your kitty?
Against popular opinion I have to be honest I was sincerely disappointed. The bread was too spongey for my taste personally. It was not crispy on the outside. It was like eating rubber and the bread is a very important part of the sandwich. The mozzarella was really good and so was the tomato’s.
Still it’s just a sandwich 🥪
WHERE IS ANDREA ????
Urgh..all those chopped up corpses of the poor suffering animals..I'd run a mile
McDonald's...😂
