The drummer is Sarah Jones, and Harry likes to joke that this is 'Sarah's band' because she is amazing and everyone loves her. I think you would love Fine Line the album. Great production.

I’m in the same boat as you. Never listened to 1D and literally had no idea Harry Styles even had a solo career. I heard “Adore You” on the radio, started researching Fine Line and then backtracked to his first self-titled album and now I’m a huge fan. FINE LINE is a great album! Harry Styles has surprised me since his debut, for his deep music and his voice too, his voice reminds me a little of Chris Cornell, I never thought I could like him, but I really do. I don't see him in the current pop scene, even if he comes from this universe, I think he is different, I really like what he brought and has done. The highlights of her new album for me are: She, Treat People With Kindness, Sunflower vol6, Fine Line, Canyon Moon, Cherry, Golden.

She has her own music as well. She's fantastic as is the entire band. Sarah is one of the best drummers alive right now.

I started with a more recent reaction you did to Harry, saw there were older ones and wanted to start from the beginning. I had a feeling as soon as I saw Sledgehammer on the list that you'd be delighted by his comments regarding Sledgehammer being one of the best mixed records.
You should really watch him preform sign of the times on Garamond norton. The drumming on that song is just astronomical Sarah (the drummer) is just absolutely amazing
I think the best "Kiwi" is on his last night of his tour, he did 2 nights in LA. On the 2nd night he did Kiwi 3 times in a row to close out the tour. It is great, and he doesn't disappoint. There is a video of it on RUclips. 😁

Fantastic review! I’d love to see more of these. Harry’s sound is definitely more 70s & 80s rock than pop and this was a great cover for him. He performed live with Stevie Nicks too, which was unreal. If he ever covered Robert Palmer I would die. 😆
I watched kiwi first before i came here. And u just said what i commented in ur kiwi reaction.... that Harry can do anything from pop to rock... pls check it out! Harry's voice is so raw and diverse. We agree there! Harry is so good!
He's done some great live performances since 2017 tbh - falling at the Brits, any performance of sign of the times (especially graham norton), kiwi on late late and my fav version on the today show (think that one got removed), adore you on late late is great just for the charisma value, then a bunch of cover like Juice, The Chain etc. I wouldn't bother with 1d though, you're missing nothing musically and his voice was wrecked a lot of the time from constant touring.
@@SoundVapors While he is showcasing a lot more versatility in his solo career , it's absolutely not true that is not worths to check out his performances during the 1D years! As other commenters pointed out, the last 3 albums (out of 5) are worth to listen to. And he is a born rock star, what he did on stage even when he was only 18-19 years old, is amazing. If someone likes Harry's solo stuff (100 % sure you're going to like it), will want more from his music. So eventually will listen to 1D songs as well.
@AitchBee sorry i disagree. Their music was at heart too corporate for me - even the 'grown up' songs were clearly written to be appealing to their audience. While i can enjoy them as pop on occasion, i see little merit in 1D beyond that.
@@AnnaLujza82 there's maybe a handful of 1d songs still worth a listen. I doubt many harry fans will go back to listen retrospectively as most want to hear him sing the full song not a couple of lines of someone else's song.

I started with a more recent reaction you did to Harry, saw there were older ones and wanted to start from the beginning. I had a feeling as soon as I saw Sledgehammer on the list that you'd be delighted by his comments regarding Sledgehammer being one of the best mixed records.
You should really watch him preform sign of the times on Garamond norton. The drumming on that song is just astronomical Sarah (the drummer) is just absolutely amazing

I think the best "Kiwi" is on his last night of his tour, he did 2 nights in LA. On the 2nd night he did Kiwi 3 times in a row to close out the tour. It is great, and he doesn't disappoint. There is a video of it on RUclips. 😁

I love how you appreciate Harry's band. They're amazing! Fyi drummer is Sarah Jones, bassist is Adam Penderghast, electric guitarist is Mitch Rowland (who co writes with Harry in his songs too). Fantastic review! I’d love to see more of these. Harry’s sound is definitely more 70s & 80s rock than pop and this was a great cover for him. He performed live with Stevie Nicks too, which was unreal. If he ever covered Robert Palmer I would die. 😆

He's done some great live performances since 2017 tbh - falling at the Brits, any performance of sign of the times (especially graham norton), kiwi on late late and my fav version on the today show (think that one got removed), adore you on late late is great just for the charisma value, then a bunch of cover like Juice, The Chain etc. I wouldn't bother with 1d though, you're missing nothing musically and his voice was wrecked a lot of the time from constant touring.

@@SoundVapors While he is showcasing a lot more versatility in his solo career , it's absolutely not true that is not worths to check out his performances during the 1D years!
As other commenters pointed out, the last 3 albums (out of 5) are worth to listen to. And he is a born rock star, what he did on stage even when he was only 18-19 years old, is amazing.
If someone likes Harry's solo stuff (100 % sure you're going to like it), will want more from his music. So eventually will listen to 1D songs as well.
@AitchBee sorry i disagree. Their music was at heart too corporate for me - even the 'grown up' songs were clearly written to be appealing to their audience. While i can enjoy them as pop on occasion, i see little merit in 1D beyond that.
@@AnnaLujza82 there's maybe a handful of 1d songs still worth a listen. I doubt many harry fans will go back to listen retrospectively as most want to hear him sing the full song not a couple of lines of someone else's song.
