  • @user-qp5xh9ky4t

that's his regular band. the girl with the dyed hair and the girl with the blonde mullet are new though, they replaced another woman who left the band before the new album cycle. Other than that it's pretty much been his band since the beginning of his solo career.
    you have :
Adam Pendergast (the bassist, known Harry since 1d)
Mitch Rowland (guitarist, one of Harry's bestfriends and cowriter for a lot of his songs)
Sarah Jones (drummer, partner to Rowland and soon to be mother of his child)
Ny Oh ( backup singer, sometimes keyboard, sometimes rhythm guitarist) she's the blonde with the mullet
Charlotte Clark (backup singer and keyboard/piano player)
Speaking about his dress sense, Harry is known to have eccentric fashion taste so expect to see interesting looks as you react to him.
he did host the met gala and is one of the muses of the creative director of gucci. so yeah he's a pretty notable figure in the fashion world especially the more artsy parts of it.
I'd like to see you react to his song sign of the times live on the Graham Norton show. it is his debut single.

He loves 70/80 music....his music has influence from that time.....please listen to his albums...and tell us what you think. He is a wonderful actor too....watcht the song Adore You from Harry he made up a whole island for this song. It's about him and his friendship with a fish....watch the extended version....oh and the band is his band. the guitar player Mitch Rowland wrote the albums with him.

One thing you'l learn about Harry too is his style, that outfit is probably custom Gucci. You'll see much more of his style if you continue down your path of checking out his music. His style is out there but that's one of the things we love about him, he can make anything work. Yes, that's his band he tours with. The drummer Sarah, the guitarist Mitch, the bass player Adam have been together with Harry from the beginning of his solo career. The 2 keyboard women, Ny (the one in the red) and Charlotte were added with the 2nd album. There was a keyboardist Claire that was with them from the beginning but left or was replaced before the 2nd album. And I'm sure you'd be surprised that you'd like some of One Directions songs too, especially the last 3 albums. The boys wrote many of the songs, they were rocky/folky and matured with each year. I'm sure there would be some songs you'd find that you liked. Did you see Harry's full interview with Howard Stern? If not that might help you get to know him a little better too. He performs one of his own songs during it.

Try "Kiwi" again but live on the Late Late Show with James Corden, also Harry's first solo single "Sign of the Times" live on the Graham Norton Show, and his cover of Fleetwood Macs "The Chain" in the BBC Live lounge. YES! This performance was the one that pulled me in. It's funny how you know absolutely nothing about him :D He really, really is not "just a guy from a boyband" - he is truly talented, and his influences lie heavily on classic rock & 80s pop. He also has this incredible sense when it comes to collaborators: he just seems to find all the right people to work with. Top quality, everything he does; and it is purely for the love of music - he has had the fame on 1D days, now he's doing what he wants and loves. This is the perfect example. I'm glad you acknowledged that.
From Harry I'd recommend either BBC Radio one Fleetwood Mac cover The Chain, or if you'd like another original, his debut single and Rolling Stone's song of the year 2017 Sign of the times live on Graham Norton show. That particular performance is the best one of him I've seen.

Sarah Jones at the drum, Mitch Rowland at the guitar, Adam Prendergast at the bass, were already with him on his first album and tour. Charlotte Clark at the piano and NyOh at the keyboard and vocal are with him since Fine Line. He also played with additional people sometimes in the US during the pandemic. You can look at his Grammy performance to see them all (well except Charlotte and Adam who were said to be stuck in the UK ...)

Love Harry Styles's voice, music taste, personality, but his sense of "fashion" is not my cup of tea. I also love One Direction's later music. At that point (if at any) they were NOT a typical boy band. They are all incredibly talented artists. It's sad to see their later work in 1D written off, because people think they were just pretty boy boy banders.

Hi, just found you. Loved this video!
I used to have the same preconceived notions about One Direction and the 1D members until november 2020, when I stumbled upon Harry's music. I then also got into the rest of them and I gotta say, they're way more than just a "manufactured boyband". Honestly, from their 3rd album on (which is when they started writing most of the songs that went on their albums), they barely even fit the boyband label. Their live performances were alway really good and they're all very talented singer-songwriters. My favourite solo music comes from Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan. Liam Payne and Zayn Malik make more pop and R&B music, wich is cool and I vibe to it sometimes, but it's just not what I tend to listen to on a regular basis.
The One Direction songs I'd recommend are:
a cover they made of the song "One Way Or Another"
    ruclips.net/video/36mCEZzzQ3o/видео.html
    here's also a LIVE performance
    ruclips.net/video/2X03UjOZ4zM/видео.html
the cover they made of "Teenage Dirtbag" LIVE recording
    ruclips.net/video/o-XppjJVR9o/видео.html
and then some of their own songs like:
    "Midnight Memories" LIVE
    ruclips.net/video/v_D8ug72MoI/видео.html
    "Little Black Dress" LIVE
    ruclips.net/video/eKDpIKNr840/видео.html
    "Clouds" a LIVE
    ruclips.net/video/ltUNp3Mchmo/видео.html
    "Drag Me Down" LIVE
    ruclips.net/video/09V6PJ7V3oE/видео.html
There are a lot more, but I don't want to overwhelm you lol

Hey mate! I’m so glad you’ve come round to Harry, he’s a super talented and lovely guy! Hope to see plenty more reactions to him from you soon!
I did want to help you with the 1D thing though. While their first 2 albums were pretty basic (with a couple genuinely great songs per album) their last 3 albums were genuinely really interesting, well produced and well written project’s. They always toured with a live band and with no surprise when looking at most of their solo stuff, a lot of their songs were rock influenced. Their singles were always the most pop-y. I’m gonna link some live performances for you cause they always shined the most live. All of these are professionally recorded so don’t worry about audio.
Little Black Dress (a fan fav but probably more of a deep cut):
    ruclips.net/video/eKDpIKNr840/видео.html
    Midnight Memories (single)
    ruclips.net/video/v_D8ug72MoI/видео.html
    Best Song Ever (single)
    ruclips.net/video/z7rvnjVgbzc/видео.html
Drag me Down (single, slightly less rocky)
    ruclips.net/video/09V6PJ7V3oE/видео.html
I do hope you give them a chance, cause there is a LOT more to them then what meets the eye, and we do genuinely first and foremost love the music they make. It took me a while to come around to them too!!

Great reaction, thank you! I gotta admit, I've seen too many of them and I'll probably never get tired of watching performance itself and reactions to it :)
Also, I just can't help but comment: 1D guys weren't that good while in the talent show, this came after the show. They worked really hard and they still develop after 10 years in this industry. They began to co-write from the very first album but they didn't have much understanding of how industry works, they're not trained musicians so it was a learning curve to them. By the 3rd album they took over creative side in full. To me when artists make music, that they can give live concerts with, it means they are accomplished artists, regardless of their audience, background or the genre they work in.
As to 1D band, I think all 5 are great singers-songwriters (Harry was never considered the best vocalist btw) and have successful solo careers now. Usually it doesn't happen when a manufactured boyband inevitably splits. Four out of five write their own stuff, three guys, including Harry, are working in rock-based genres. You might want to check out works of LouisTomlinson and Niall Horan at some point. I'm not saying it fits your channel's format but just it might still change your outlook on this band.

I liked your reviews of Sledgehammer and Kiwi, however, I found your comments about What Makes you Beautiful and boy bands and fans of pop music in general, insulting and blinkered. I am not a Tweenie, I am 60 years old, and I have liked boy bands, rock bands, country, grunge, punk, pretty much anything. Just because it is not your cup of tea doesn’t mean that it is wrong or bad. YOU don’t like it and that is fair enough. Don’t disregard a genre just because. As Harry Styles himself said: “Who's to say that young girls who like pop music -- short for popular, right? -- have worse musical taste than a 30-year-old hipster guy,” Styles questioned. “That's not up to you to say. Music is something that's always changing. There's no goal posts. Young girls like the Beatles. You gonna tell me they're not serious?”

    • @infin8reactions
      @infin8reactions  3 года назад +1

I think you've taken me well out of context to be fair, when I started reacting to 1 direction it was the first boy band I had listened to since the 90's and so obviously I had the oh 'here we go again, another manufactured cash cow for Simon cowell and other such record producers' but obviously as I've listened to Harry now in two videos I can see that he is more than just manufactured, I openly admitted in the sledgehammer reaction that I was blinkered so I'm unsure why you are using that against me, now what you don't know is, I grew up listening to east 17 in the 90's and I thought they were great, but they weren't manufacturered, they made their own music, it's more a shot at those who manufacture bands that's all, hey listen they were called teeny boppers in the 90's that's just my terminology, it doesn't mean anything nor did I mean to be insulting towards young girls who go nuts at gigs. I haven't disregarded a genre at all, I've had Bruno Mars on the channel these last few weeks lol
The Beatles, I don't really know much about, Ive heard their party songs and let it be and a few others here and there but they were before my time and I've never followed their music or life etc
Anyway thanks for watching the channel, I appreciate it 😁
