- I learn't this song about 10 minutes before I recorded this cover. I performed this on my Uncle's Vintage Fender Stratocaster through a Blackstar Ht stage 60 and the pedal giving me that awesome swirly effect was the amazing MXR Evh Phase 90 which I am really happy with!! Hope you like this :-)

Once you are a musician you play all your life. I started at age 13, got my first band at 15 and I'm 50 now. Still jamming, recording in studios, getting together with other musicians, going to concerts etc. I'll never stop playing guitar. I hope this kid becomes prolific and keeps jamming forever. Nuff said.

Every time I watch this RUclips video I am amazed.
Holy crap!!! He makes really good players that make videos for how to play it sound like rookies. Never have I heard anybody capture the essence of Trower playing it. Mind blown.

This is killer. This kid has gotta be the coolest guy in his Math class!.
I relate to his situation because I was 13 and in 8th grade the year this album came out and had been playing guitar for about a year. I would play along daily for hours to this whole record.
He likely had a parent or maybe a cool Aunt/Uncle that got him in to this all time classic because the people his age are into a much different musical scene.

you will always be truly content and happy inside.
And he did it all while working a piece of gum too. ✌️

This is great. Who was your influence for some of these songs you play? Was it your father because many of the tunes you play were around long before you were born. Robin Trower was my favorite when I was in High School. And UFO? WOW! I never expected to see someone your age jamming that out. And what a great job you did. I really enjoy watching your videos. You little stud! I've been a Trower fan since this song changed my life in 74. I'm friends with Davey Pattison who now sings for Trower. I loved learning bass and guitar to this album. Very Good! I find it hard to believe that he learned this 10 minutes before recording it. There are parts in there that you really need to hear many times before knowing when to play them, BUT this is awesome! Can you show your settings on the MXR. Interested in that tone. So many are dong it so different. This is the best sounding one so far. Peace brother

James - a comment from my friend Andy who is a guitar teacher at Staffordshire Performing Arts and is a Professor of Heavy Metal (I kid you not) and who I shared this vid with. "Kids usually completely lack style, tone and maturity but in this case I make an exception!"
James can get away with that arrogant look because he has the Guitar skills to more than back it up.
I don't think from what I've seen and read about him that he's arrogant. His family is very into wildlife and animals etc. I think he's a good soul who happens to love guitar and is very very good at it.
