    I know this is random but, you are the first RUclipsr I’ve seen talking about hair that actually knows NOT to blast the background music at the highest level when showing a montage of hair videos. My ears sincerely thank you.

    I am 6 months in with my locs, I started them with twists but chose to maintain the new growth by interlocking. To date I can say I have no problems, no unraveling, no product build up, no lint, no thinning, no bunching, nothing lol. I'm happy with my progress as I maintain them myself tfs.

      @Tania Locs and Life I'm looking for a method that will work for me I want one that will help my locs be thicker. I started with instant locs and I want to maintain the locs on my own. Locticians are expensive. I started with comb coil and my hair did not loc and I had to comb them out and do instant locs

    I am so thankful to you for sharing this information on interlocking. I am planning to interlock my hair. What method of interlocking do you use to maintain the girth of your loc's (2, 3, 4) point interlock? What size are your loc's and how many do you have?

    Your Locs are fabulous, I have decided I am going to attempt to loc my hair starting with twists, but I am going to interlock at the base ,and hopefully it will look descent. I tried before without interlocking it came undone, so I decided I would revisit trying it at some other time, which I attempt to now. Also I live in Florida, and you are right it rains almost everyday here, especially during the spring and summe,and I always outside or at the beach getting my hair wet so I think interlocking is what I need. Thanks for the helpful video

    Gorgeous . I have comb coils and want to keep palm rolling. I think I can comb out those but not interlocking

    • @NaturallyMotivatedLady
      @NaturallyMotivatedLady  4 года назад +2

      Thanks! If palm rolling works for you, then definitely keep it up! I would imagine that it probably is somewhat easier to comb out comb coils than interlocks, but it can be done. I've seen some ladies with a whole lot of patience even comb out interlocked sisterlocks.

  • @Blkbeautee

    I love your locs. You inspired me to try the braidlocs and I thank you. I'm in my 2nd year of braidlocs and many are different sizes. Your video where you showed how to take the end of the braid out and interlock did not work for me.The braided section is thinner/smaller in size than the interlock section. My locs look like sisterlocs because they are very small. In my journey I forgot about the budding process and cut my ends...twice. Unfortunately I have buds and the locking process would be along further than what it is . Thank you for sharing all of the info you have for the last 2 years.

      Thank you! 😀 I'm glad you've found the information shared in my journey helpful. I took a chance changing most of my braidlocs to interlocks, but fortunately it worked out where they all blend together.

    Question about interlocking on palm rolled hair. Can I just interlock around my edges? Also once interlocked can I switch back to palm rolling?

    • @derathebee
      @derathebee 2 года назад +2

      Yes you can but the size of the girth of your locs would vary from switching in between the two processes

  • @eleesiasportraits6114

    I love the idea of being able to wet my hair whenever I want to. and although I know loc will be fuzzier then what I’m used to, I don’t want them to look too fuzzy.

    Do you think a 2 point rotation allows for the loc to be thicker? Instead of a 3 or 4 point rotation?

    • @TheZophisticatedDove
      @TheZophisticatedDove 4 года назад +2

      Yes, I just started my journey and would love to know the pros and cons of 2 point vs 3 or 4 point rotation

    • @CharleneMuchunu
      @CharleneMuchunu 4 года назад +1

      She hasn't addressed it in this video but in the next ones on tips, she just says that 3/4 point rotations definitely make locs tighter. so 2 point must leave it looser/thicker
