How long was your loose natural hair when you started your locs?
Thanks for showing that it’s possible to take down interlocked locs.

So how's your hair doing now? Do you regret it? Is it growing better than before getting locs? Is your hair thinner? How long does it take to get to a normal thickness of hair?

    • @adriannakeys2645

So my hair was a bit thinner especially at the ends after cutting. I played around with product and all but then got pregnant and decided to go back to locs and just made them a little smaller than beore...i'm about 3 years in. So i only had loose hair about a year or so

Yes congratulations 🎉 double congratulations 🎉 🎉 ... Also, be aware of postpartum hair thinning. I was pregnant when I started my locs 4 years ago. Afterwards, my hair thinned back to mine alone versus when it was mine and the babies together. My locs are thick at the bottom and thinner at the top so I have to grow the length that I want minus the bottoms; before I comb them all out.
Thank you so much for the encouragement of this video❤❤❤❤❤

How was your dreadlocks viewed in the medical field? Did you have any problems finding a job with them? I'm currently in the Sonography program and decided to starts locs due to the amount of time I spend studying with no time to do my hair. I started mines with two strand twist but concerned about the way they will transition and being in clinical rotation. What do you suggest? I have 1 and a half more years to go before graduation and I figured it should be locked by the time I start my job hunt. I know what people think about dreadlocks and don't want patients to think I'm not clean because of my hair. I plan to keep them clean looking during the process.

Love, Life, and Beauty you will notice when you start clinicals that alot of people have locs and fros and other natural hairstyles. I even still have my nose ring. It just about make sure ypur hair is kept in a professional (clean, pulled back or tastefully down) manner. I was stretching in between retwist but would just retwist the front some or if I hadn't done that I would just pull it back into a low ponytail or Do a fishtail braid. People thought I'd spent like an hr on my hair when it had been 2 minutes. Make sure it's your attitude they see and come to appreciate. The petty people will continue to be petty, make sure the people who matter know the real you

I got my current job while having dreads, had them for almost 6 years. It was my work ethic and attentiveness that got me the job. They were reaching out to me as I was graduating (I was so blessed/lucky,etc). So dont worry about it

I’ve had interlock going on six years my hair is thick and now down to my back, never had a single snap. I want to do what you’ve done and take mine down. Can you honestly say if I do as you have I’ll still have a lot of hair?

My length was cut by like a inch or 2, and my hair needed a couple protein treatments but you will still have alot of hair. Just dont freak out by the amount that comes out when your undoing them

Hi thanks for the video I have a question : When I started my locs It was always twisted then one time I tried interlocking it instead but now I'm thinking of taking out my locs just like you but I have like a big hard knot do you think It will be possible for me to still take it out? thanks in advance for the answer

I would let it soak and gently comb it out in the way i described. It may break more than other sections (honestly not really sure) but its worth a try :)
