    BIG thank you for this video!!! I have been loc'd for a little over 2 years now. While I love them, I have been heavily contemplating doing away with them and switching things up this year... however, I don't want to cut my hair... Oddly enough I have not found ONE person in my next of the woods who has done anything over than chop their locs off, so watching your video has given me some motivation for sure!

    I'm in the process of removing Sisterlocks. I started in October and got thru most of the back. But then in November and December, and even January, I hardly combed out any. Now I'm at it again cuz this transition has lasted long enough. It's actually going faster now because I bunch like 4 or 5 together and am able to pick them out at the same time. I wasn't on a timetable when I started but definitely am now. I plan to be done by April.

      Thank you boo 🥰 I apologize for such a late response! If you’re still needing some help I suggest that you make sure you use as much water & conditioner as your hair will take. I have 4c low porosity soft hair.
    I want to do temporary one which I can keep for maybe a year but the person is also suggesting I do the permanent one and she said it can't be comb out later onless I cut.Please any suggestions? My hair is soft so comb coil look is definitely not going to work so thinking of 2stand

    • @VazhiiSingleton
      @VazhiiSingleton  2 года назад

      Hey love! My youngest daughter has 4c hair and it is very soft as well. I started her locs with 2 strand twists and they’ve done really well. So I say go for it if that’s what you want. I believe that any loc method can be combed out with the proper products. I’ve combed out locs that started from two strand twist and I’ve combed out locs that have started from interlocking (mine). Finding someone to help you get the look that YOU want is super important to your journey. So take your time, do your research and then proceed however you see fit sis. I did have a few thin spots on some of my smaller locs, however these parts were easier to detangle for me because there wasn't much hair to work with compared to the thicker locs.

    Should have wore your hair natural and let it grow out, you're too addicted to dreads, I don't like dreads, your hair is too pretty for that. You should start a natural hair journey and don't cut it, nor trim it, only trim it when it gets really long, start today.

      Lol. What I definitely am not is addicted to anything. I did take time to enjoy my free natural hair and it was great, however my natural hair journey is for ME! Not anyone else. I'll continue to do it how I see fit. Thanks for your comment though love. Have a great rest of your day!
