Soooo, we're not gonna sit here and ignore the fact that your skin looks AMAZING!!! You is straight GLOWIN'! I just took out my first 8 locs last night and the hair in the trash had me in my feelings, lol. Thanks so much for sharing your process💛
I’ve done literally everything with my loose natural hair so I don’t think I’d miss it. The most id do is cut them off and wear a short cut. My hair is so much work and me taking care of it was also damaging it, if that makes sense. I have starter locs in. We’ll just see how it goes. I’ll never be a slave to my hair 🤷🏾♀️ if I crave something different, I’ll just cut them off and wear my hair short. I DEFINITELY don’t miss box braids or anything like that.
In the process of combining mine out. I have 64 locs but with a baby I’m only able to do 1-3 a day. This video gives me strength though thank you beautiful
I also have a sudden urge to comb out mine as well. Natural hairstyles are popping up on my feed and I also had a dream where I'd changed my style. And here I am.............watching this video😂😂😂
@@brobob52 yeah I did. It's been almost 4 months now and I haven't been more at peace when it comes to what to do with my hair. It's a lot easier and less painful process now
I want to try locs but I already know that I’m going to want to comb them out. I don’t want locs to be my identity. Like “oh Tyler with the locs? Yeah I know her” I don’t like that lol
This is how I been feeling lately, I feel like I’m going to have a mental break down I’m ready to comb my locs out too after almost 3 years loc’d. I need a change
I’m impressed. You made the process doable and achieve able. Great job! If you can comb out your Locs, which is definitely an exercise in patience, you can do anything! 😊
I was going through a ruff spot as well ,feeling unattractive with my locs, and on the 19 of of Oct 2024,which is last month.I loose out my locs of 6 years and did box braids,I just wanted a change,I got tired of not being able to do anything with my hair
I felt all of these things at only 6 months in lol it doesn't help that I don't have loc stylist in my area whose work I love.. love them but I also can't express myself through my hair other than wigs.. and I get tired of taking my hair off lol. Anddd everything else is just damaging to even try (ex. braids twists extensions) out they go! I'll rock a natural faux when I'm feeling frisky.. Great video!
@@torvlogs7390 I experienced a LOT of breakage because mine were small too. The tension of combing them out was too much for my edges and kitchen. When I was loc'd,I ended up combining a few for that reason
Omg 187 I have 119 locs and I have started combing mines out after 4 1/2 yrs and Omg I’m crying 😭 due to the process and also because of my journey kuddos to you cause if I counted 187 we would be doing the big chop 😂😂😂😂
I started taking my locs out in august. I finished in taking them down in October. Geez I was over it when I was down to like 15 locs. My hair seemed very thin after I took them out.
@@brobob52 I just washed, clarified, conditioned and went to protective styles. I did crochet first. Now I’m using Tabitha Brown products to fill in the thinner areas.
I have small sisterlocs and I’m combing it out right now. it just takes patience. I also wet my locs a lot while combing it out. I used a thumb tack to tease out the ends then use a small rat tail comb to comb through starting from the ends. I had 414 locs. I’m done with the back and in the middle of my hair. good luck.

Take your time in deciding. If anything, you can always loc them again :)
