Thank you so much for this video you made interlocking very, very easy to understand! I was finally able to do my own hair last night,& I no longer have to rely on my loctician. When you use simple words like "right, top, etc it's so much better for me to understand vs. the east, west, north, south stuff on other videos. Lol, for some reason that really confused the hell out of me! Love your content and your hair is Gorgeous❤️
The tip about going in on a diagonal if you only have one rotation left is golden. I recently switched to the two point rotation and love the simplicity of it. Thanks so much and your locs are beautiful 👍🏾
Thank you soooo much for this informative video on 2 point rotation. Because the 4 point is difficult for me stay focus when I used to do it. I would always lose the direction I last went in. Sooooo Thanks again the tips are extremely helpful. And your locs are gorgeous

I was wondering about holes in my locs. NOW, I know how to repair them. I use a 4 point rotation but I will try the 2 point rotation. Your hair grows amazingly fast.
Thanks! 😊 The same concept can be applied to the 4 point rotation if that is the rotation you prefer. The key is just having a system to not go through the same hole back to back when retightening. Thanks so much for watching! I hope this helps. Btw...you can probably do a search to find methods of repairing holes that may already be in your locs.

I stop going to get my hair done and started since May of last year. I retighten my hair myself doing the 4 point but ran to you're video so I thought I give it a try. It didn't take as long and easier to do. Didn't seems no difference then to 4 point but we will see 🤞🏾

Boy I was wrong I have 180 ish I’m 4 months in and having watched a few more videos I find you extremely informative. Your hair looks healthy & amazing hope I can achieve that for mine too. Does it matter if you switch sides that you come from? Also how do you fix holes that occur? Many thanks 🙏🏾 😊
Thanks! 😊 In my experience, there has been no noticeable difference between starting from the left or the right. Since I interlock in a way to avoid holes, it has not been a problem for me. But I'm sure if you do a RUclips search for "how to repair holes in locs", there are a few good videos to learn from. Thanks so much for watching!

How do you make sure you don't go through the same direction back to back? Do you go from the RIGHT to top and then in five weeks for your next retightening go from the LEFT then top? I hope my question makes sense...
There are many options to start your locs on short hair: comb coils, 2 strand twists, braids, ect. It's worth researching to decide on what's best for your hair. 😊
Mostly just cover. But when I'm feeling up to it, I might plait to have something different the next day. I'll see about making a video on the topic. Thanks for watching! 😊

Ms Naturally Motivated Lady your locs are beautiful. I love your detailed tutorial about using the two strand method. I've just begun my journey however my loctician insists on using methods that I am uncomfortable with. So I am now on my own. Have you ever had to combine your locks? What method did you use. What is your best advice to practice for healthy locs. Thank you.

Hello! I have heard that 2 point rotations lead to a more "flat" locs as opposed to a 4 point rotation that leads to a more cylindrical loc. Can you share your experience with this?
I noticed on another one of your videos you said you have 193 locs, I have 183 starter braidlocs myself. So do you consider yours micro-locs or sisterlocks? Also love your videos, very informative 😊
Thanks! Since I started my locs with braids, I usually call them braidlocs or interlocks. Technically, I guess they could also be called microlocs or just small locs. However, since they were not done by a sisterlocks technician, and do not have the sisterlocks grid, and barely have half as many locs as sisterlocks, I do not call them sisterlocks. Thanks so much for watching! 🥰
Thanks! 😊 I can interlock by just feeling it, but the vast majority of the time, I have a little mirror in front of me, with a larger mirror behind me, and angle them in a way where I can see the back of my head.
Would 2 point rotation work on a little bit bigger loc. I am just starting out with two strand twists and have about 140 of them? I haven’t made my mind up yet about retwist, or 4 point. I just came across 2 point which looks so neat. I don’t think I want puffy locs...
Yes, there are ways to remedy a Y that has already formed in your locs. I don't have a video on it, but in the past, I've come across a couple YT videos where an interlocking tool is used to close the gap.
If your doing 2 point rotation how often you retighten your hair i just retighten my hair 2 weeks ago and I already have new growth should I wait to retighten
Naturally Motivated Lady, how tall are you? I'm asking because it looks like you have a ton of length for only having your hair locked for 3 years and 8 months.
Good question. I usually interlock on slightly damp hair (either after washing my hair, or I use a spray bottle to dampen the roots a little if my hair is dry).
I’ve been watching you since last year when I started my first rotation of locs (two strand method for 10 months); now I’m back (slightly shorter hair now) and I want to try the micro loc interlocking method. Do you ever start ppl locs for them?? If so, where are you located?
