Thank you, they say practice makes perfect and I'm a true believer of that one! Not too bad for 4 days 🤪 I appreciate your kind words. Sending you a virtual hug! 💜
Thank you! I know right! I have to agree with you, The changes are crazy! Do you think they look more mature than you'd expect at 1 year? I think so personally. I thought it'd take 2 years to lose my twist pattern but to my surprise it is almost gone EVERYWHERE lol💜
@@SocialSymone You’re so welcome! Honestly, with your hair type, it kinda makes sense that they matured so quickly 🤔 you have the perfect texture for locs!
Thank you! I thought the front would take years cause it was a loose curl pattern but it's locked up there now outta nowhere! lol Trusting the process worked!
I spent the time with you girlfriend! Was doing 2 point rotation but recently graduated to a 3-point rotation. How did you have your mirror set-up please?
Peace peace thank you for these tips. i was wondering about the 3pt rt but there's not alot of videos out there. Im starting my diy microloc journey .quick question I counted you interlocking 4x why 4x if its supposed to be going in the loc 3x .im really here trying to learn but im so confused now lol ty
Your microlocs are looking fabulous! Thank you for sharing these tips! 😊🧚🏾♀️ Your videos are inspirational for me as a newly loccd person. 💜 I'm in month four and I'm about to do my fourth retie ever on the 13/14/15 of July. I usually take two days to do it but I put in that extra day just in case. ✌🏾💜
Thank you so Much. I am glad that my tips were helpful to you 💜 My goal is to inspire so that definitely lifts up my spirits that I have been blessed enough to do that. I am wishing your arms well on your retie! Two days is GREAT! Do you mainly only retie on those days? That is a blessing. Four days it my normal time for me with many breaks lol.
@@SocialSymone thank you! 💜 I take a lot of breaks! Like a short break for every few rows 😄 but I would say that it is probably 6 hours per day. And my hair is unruly and roots like to marry, so I'm doing them every 4 weeks for now (I run and practice yoga, some days I really have to reach in and make sure my locs are seperated.) I will try to extend to 5 or 6 weeks once I get to 6 months.
Yea I feel you on that, That's how it was for me too. I had to faithfully retie them every 4 to 5 weeks for a while but it gets easier. Hopefully you are able to go longer in between reties once you hit 6 months. If not it still doesn't sound too bad because you have been blessed with speed.💜
Why did you change from 2 point to 3 point rotation? And which do you feel gives more volume? I’ll look through your videos in case you already addressed this. Thank you!
I felt it secured my hair better with the 3 point. It used to come out at root quicker after reties and merge at roots more before I switched. Then it all stopped! I was so happy! I feel like over time my hair has got thicker but i'm 16 months in, I think for volume the 2 point would be the better choice but the 3 works overall better for me. I hope this helps!
Love it! Thanks for sharing with us ❤ New Subbie. Wanted to ask, you mentioned you recently changed to 3-point rotation from 2-point rotation. Have you noticed any difference in your hair? Eg. Like it looking slightly thinner or not as full?

I'm glad you were inspired to finish your retie. I know how taxing it can be on the body. How many locs do tou have left? You got this! 💜💜💜
