Which of the Flashbacks really hit you most? They do seem to signify different moments in Ellie's life and her continued loss of innocence.....but I do feel like that was MAYBE the story already in TOL?
Him singing to her, it might be the first, but it's amazing to me.
When joel give Ellie a gift for her birthday 😭💔❤❤❤❤
THIS WAS BETTER THTA THE GAME
WASTE OF POTENTIAL
TOL? The of last?
can anyone tell me how long is the time gap from the hospital to the kiss scene?
When flashback is better than whole story.
so true
@Maen Terooz Ellie does not deserve much sympathy, the way she treated him, allowing her anger to cloud her judgement and not understanding just how much she means to him is the sad part. Joel is the real victim here because she completely ignored the fact she had given him his daughter back, and the last thing he would have wanted was to lose her again. Although in this case she had lost him, and it served as a lesson to her to always hold those you love close to you because nothing good lasts forever. That's why hate is such a dangerous weapon.
@@dimitritsopanian1146 I agree with you
@@dimitritsopanian1146 she's a young teenager when the first game ended... Joel didn't have to lie, he could have dealt with it a lot better, as an ADULT...
The flashbacks are a part of the story...
The fact that Joel finished off a bloater with a Machete. This is badass.
And later got holed in one.
every cool joel part gets tainted for me because then i get reminded they killed him off. wish i never played this game
"Get over with your rehearsed speech and finish this off" sooo badass
I honestly find it funny how people try to say Joel got soft in Jackson when the game showed him doing that. Lol.
Lmao she would've gotten the Joel DEATH 😂😂😂
i would have played an entire game just of taking Ellie across america to different theme parks and museums and just generally letting her have a childhood and also heal from PTSD.
I’d donate all my life savings to make this game a reality.
Joel would be healing too as Ellie helps him get over his grief and Joel helps Ellie with her PTSD and her survivors guilt.
That is the sequel we deserve
very realistic in the apocalypse.
@@sgtmian gets killed by a muscular women with a golf club in a house of full strangers, saying his name with not doubt
This is what people really wanted from a Last of Us Sequel. More of Joel and Ellie. Together.
and while i don’t like the execution completely, there’s definitely a ton of fanboys mad that they’re was an actual subversive and bleak direction, though it was kind of poorly done
Developers just DO NOT understand why we love their original games/movies/show seasons: the CHARACTERS. They show off with a grandiose, edgy, controversial story, and completely lose sight of what made people love their original works. This is unfortunately yet another example of that, the only reason why I expected it to be different is because TLOU was a masterpiece and a phenomenon in gaming
Bish Bosh the whole game was literally about the characters man, dunno what to tell you.
@@ayyohwinning the wrong characters
And that is why this game is a masterpiece. It's an apocalypse, Joel made mistakes and he payed for them, hardly... I just love Naughty Dog, because their decisions in the game weren't easy, but the life is not easy especially in that world. For me the end is a bit cheesy, bit B film category, but that final flashback scene... Oh man, that just got me. Joel and Ellie the chemistry is awesome and its awesome how some script and pixels can bring such emotiones into you. It would be easy just to have a second game where would you play for Ellie and Joel and discover the world, but that would not be original and not bring such emotions into you. Every hour this game comes into me more and more and yes I dont like the over political correctness and maybe the storytelling could told in another way, but for me this game and saga is something else, its not another call of duty or AC and that is why I love it.
“There was a sequel, it wasn’t as good” Joel with the wisdom

God this is the game I wanted. Joel watching his daughter grow up, make jokes, crush on girls, and survive. They just had to be unnecessarily edgy and “deep”. Things don’t have to be relentlessly nihilistic to be good art. It’s not the fact that Ellie is a lesbian that makes this game a letdown - it’s the fact that It squeezes all the joy and life out of the story in favor of being dark and edgy.
best critique so far. completely void of misogyny or sexism like the rest of these fans. like JEEESSUS, also my bad “fans”
Exactly. Media entertainment nowadays always wants to push you deep, dark and "we-want-you-to-question-everything" type of stories to reflect the sad real world we live in, but thats actually not great for people who just want a good, fun and light story to get into. Im not saying dark stories arent good, but its getting saturated. And boring, like this one
@@juliocotia and even in dark stories you can have light and beautiful hopefulness. Take berserk as an example, super bleak but at its core incredibly hopeful and a story about triumph over adversity and the resilience of the human spirit against insurmountable odds. Its actually inspiring. Shit like this thats just bleak to be bleak and miserable, it has little soul at all to it.
even the lesbian part is so forced, how can she become lesbian when she always have the best father figure?!
logically she would want atleast a man like joel to be her boyfriend.
Julio Henrique the original had a great mixture of light and hope (funny moments, finding Tommy) along with dark and depressing (Sam and Henry, finding Bill’s partner). I got spoiled the plot of part 2 and saving the 60 dollars has been one of the best things to happen to me in 2020
Bruh Joel was about to cry after Ellie said she can’t forgive him
No he cried because she gave him another chance although it would take some time to get back to where there was also see him cry is just emotional
But since Abby didn’t give him a chance well the rest is history
She never said that.
*@vbgggfff* No that’s literally what she said. Watch the clip before you say shit like that
I heard his breathing starting to hitch when Ellie said she couldn't forgive him but she'd like to try and was like hrgnnnnnnnn
You know, just cutting out everything but the flashback scenes and TLoU2 is actually pretty damn good.
Like if you treat it as an epilogue for the first game these flashback scenes are amazing.
I don’t really like the plot for this game. I think the game should’ve been the flashback plus a lot more on route to her finding out the truth. I just wish Joel and Ellie would’ve ended on a good note
@@jondoe5338 Well, at least you can headcanon just these flashbacks and imagine that Joel and Ellie got the chance to rebuild their relationship.

Etrius0023 yeah but I’ve seen the new game. I can’t get that stuff out of my head now.
I’m so heartbroken by this. Joel cared so much about her. He was willing to do whatever it took to save her and protect her. And then he gets killed and she murders everyone except the person who killed him. I don’t get it
if she killed Abby then lev would seek for revenge and the cycle goes on
YP_Mani won’t happen is she kills lev
@@therealheem6035 So if you get revenge, finish off the survivors? That's what the narrative is telling us essentially. If Abbie had finished off Ellie and Joel, all of her friends would be alive.
What an unintentionally shitty message lol.
@@NomastiAfricanWarlord Abby spared them twice, the second time she really didn't have to and the Lev was the reason she didn't ill Dina and Ellie, Ellie knows that, that's why she couldn't go through with it, one half wants to avenge Joel, the other knows it's wrong to kill Abby and Lev. I honestly think it was a great story, Abby's gender being questionable aside, it truly was. And i haven't even played it, just watched it, very impressed, very dark but it makes sense.
@movefasta bro,but Joel saved Abby, not only that, but Joel had the right to kill Abby's father,he fuckin wanted to do the surgery even though they know Joel won't let them, even if it's to find a cure,he's like her dad and he has more right to decide wether she dies or not, especially that Marlene was supposed to look after Ellie not kill her

To summarise the game intentions were promising however the way it was pulled of was pretty weird if not wrong. I think there was a lot of potential wasted of an outstanding vengance story and the only thing that the game achieved to me at first was mix of confusing "feelings" because of the already mentioned narrative mess, what's worse is that this vengance ending was just pathetic not because of Ellie losing everything or abby geting a chance after all, but because it felt so random and pointless.

Hard to believe the actress that voices Ellie is 37 years old, she sounds like a teenager.
I know, she played Mel Gibsons daughter in 'What Women Want' about 20 years ago.
She was also the youngest daughter on Growing Pains in the 80s/90s too

Amen brotha
It’s a shame they made 9 hours of non canon gameplay why not just make the entire game canon :D
Kyle Cast ikr it’s so confusing
What's weird to me is how Ellie in the first game knew about Joel's daughter and had compassion for him. But in this game it's as if she has none
It's not that she has no compassion for him, it's just that Joel lied to her about one of the most pivotal moments of Eliie's life. Them getting to the fireflies was her goal and she wanted her immunity to mean something and Joel took that from her. So once she found out what he did, she's upset with him but after a long period of time, is willing to forgive him.
@@bloodlustforce33 True, but it's kind of sad that their relationship ended up on rocks and just after Ellie gave Joel a second chance he died.
@@bloodlustforce33 Just sucks that friggin Abby took that from her.
Paul Andreas Allik Ik right, I was expecting Joel to die in this sequel b/c of the consequences from the previous game. but I thought he was gonna die heroically saving Ellie or something, but instead Joel died from some random ass character with a fucking golfing club
If you stop to think that was the last conversation betwen those two before the disaster. Imagine how Ellie Felt about It after. Its like Obi Wan saying goodbye tô Anakin in episode 3 but even sadder.
This is actually kind of heartbreaking because it's a glimpse of what the storytellers are capable of, and what we could have got. Imagine playing through the first half of the game as Ellie and Joel as she grows up over the course of those years. Exploring the highs and lows of their relationship along with their new adventures. Then ultimately coming to the deterioration of their relationship because of the lie, and the broken trust involved with it (a huge human moment we can easily relate to.) Then, after all that time having what happened to Joel happen.
The impact would have been even more, and it would be heartbreaking to see the mending of the relationship be cut short right as it was finally gaining ground for some healing, and the second half could have been the revenge quest and Ellie finally learning and coming to terms with why Joel did what he did, and lied about it, because she finally realized how much they meant to each other and what he would sacrifice for her, and what she would give to have the moment back to prevent Joel from dying if she was given the opportunity to make that choice. She'd finally understand the value in Joel's lie, and finally coming to terms with the idea that meaning something to one person is enough, you don't have to be of value to all of humanity for your life to have meaning... would have felt like a sequel, a continuation of the story started in part 1, instead of this stand alone with call back moments taking place in roughly the same world but feeling so disconnected from the story and our previous connection to its characters.
Instead, we get Abby and Naughty Dog's attempt to try and make us empathize with a profoundly unlikable character and group. Hell, they even could have pulled that off probably had they had us play as Abby the first half of the game, have events happen where she starts to feel at least some conflict as she sees that Joel and his group aren't all that bad, but she just couldn't get over her own personal vendetta. They just framed it all so wrong and poorly. Don't have one of her first acts be what she did, then thrust us into playing her. It's just poor storytelling structure (for a game at least.) I'm ok with developers trying new things and not playing it safe, but there are ways to still not play it safe without swinging and missing as big as they did.
couldnt have said it better. i feel like the writers for the flashbacks are different from the main story. All we ever wanted was to see ellie and joel reunited agai.
Alright, I'll finally comment on something. This. I actually enjoyed the story of part 2 and didn't agree with what everyone was saying, but sort of felt something could have been... This comment is probably the best thing that "could" have happened for the game and I kind of get the anger from the community now.
However, I still feel the amount of hate and vitriol of this extent is unjustified. Its the story that the director, writer, team wanted to tell. It was not perfect, they made a mistake by killing Joel like that I can emphasize with the community. Nevertheless, I feel we should give them some credit for crafting something that entices this much emotion, espcially considering the state of the world right now, instead of completely giving them shit for the game. I still feel the game as it is now (story) is pretty good in all respects, I mean who would have predicted what "actually" happened? It was a surprise, and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
I still want more in this world, despite knowing that they could have done better or what they did to Joel. I still feel interested in the relationship between Ellie and Dina. I actually kind of like Abby because she is immensly flawed and has her own redemption arc. I want to hear the rest of the story. I really hope all this hate doesn't derail more stories in this world. That would really suck because TLOU is probably one of the defining media, story, game (visual novel?) moments of my life. I will never forget this story.
I want to believe that all this hate will wash away in a few months, years etc. and people will take a look at both part 1 and 2 as a whole and realize that the story they crafted is noteworthy and can go and enjoy it a bit more. It's bittersweet at the end because both stories ended with hope. I hope part 3 will happen and they include more Joel flashbacks. Joel can still be used to further Ellie's story even though he is not here.

Ikr, his death was kinda pointless. If he died protecting Ellie, i'd accept that. But no. He got killed by a muscular woman (that Joel helped escape from the herd) with a golf stick. That's a big wack for me, since he died for nothing at all.
that last scene kills me, it's the most heartfelt and real and emotional "i love you" i've ever seen depicted. the actual words are too hard to say because the love is so strong and that makes it so much more special.
Am I the only one who wished Ellie would call Joel “Dad” at least just for once???
If she did he would probably start immediately tearing up and I can see it perfectly oh my god

It’s like they always knew what we really wanted but only gave us a small part of it.
Imagine how much nicer these moments would have been without the knowledge of Joel's death. I wish the game started with these instead of them being flashbacks.
I think thats a big reason they messed up the pacing. The sequence of events is off-putting. Joel died so abruptly I didn't really feel much emotion. But if these flashbacks would have happened before his death it would have been more deep. Just my opinion
That clock joke was actually a banger...
I'll be honesty I'm crying right now after Ellie telling Joel she doesn't need his help. Now normally I'd assume this is the bratty attitude of all teenage characters, but because it's because she now knows what Joel did at the end of the first game, and that he did it because he cared about her so much, it breaks my heart! How Ellie hated him for saving her life, because if she had died for a cure for humanity, at least her life would've meant something. I feared that this would happen when she inevitably found out, and it's so sad that this happened
Thank you for getting it!!
She wants to hate him but she really can't. She knows Joel meant well and loves her. Father daughter types always have their rough patches. Thats what makes their relationship so beautiful because its so realistic.
Eh, I felt the way it was handled was actually very realistic in terms of the quarrels between angsty teenagers and parents who just want to do good by their kids. I think what makes it problematic is the unnecessary violence and dissappointment that follows these events lol.
She said her life would’ve mattered, and he said he’d do it all over again. Cause it was the only thing that mattered to him.

So Joel died without Ellie forgiving him. What was the point of their relationship in this whole series if they never recover their broken relationship!? That would have been a much better story! Joel revealed the truth, Ellie and Joel’s relationship is fragile, Joel and Ellie spend their time throughout the event of the game, their relationship is fixed. That would have been much better. But no! They had to kill off Joel
She said she'd try to forgive him before he died
Rhys Wallace yeah she will try but she also said I don’t think I can ever forgive you right before that. So nothing is really fixed
Holy shit yeah. You know what this game really should have been about? So the first is love and selfishness. This one could have been love and forgiveness. Better and less played out than revenge. They could have made it like these flashbacks central around developing tension between them and the healing of it through time.
It's Tlou the world is ruthless, the same was Abby had her father killed and all her friends, both of them lost so much because of the mad world they live in. It makes sense, sjw steroids aside, it was a good story, and i don't even like the first game that much, just keeping it real.

Playing as Abby was important, because she is the true hero of this game. It sucks to say, but Joel and Ellie were the villains. Revenge is never a one sided tale.
Ellie and Abby are similar characters, but Abby is far stronger. I don't mean physically (even though she is), but mentally. By the end of the game, Abby learns to forgive, before it's too late. Meanwhile, revenge consumes Ellie and she throws away everything. Her family, home and the ability to play guitar, one of the ways she was able to connect with Joel.
I wouldn't mind playing as Abby in a sequel. She's deserves every bit of respect people give Ellie.
Well, not really she's practically a skeleton when it gets to the end of the game. I kind of felt bad for her to see her in a wretched state but was disappointed too that I could end her in the water.

This game had so much potential, Ellie trying to find her way into the world awhile also trying to forgive Joel, while Joel is somehow still trying to be part of her life and show her how much he loves her, even though he feels like he can't actually say it.
They built the perfect pillars for a great plot and then they completely tossed that away and fucked it all up. lol
The Spaceship moment between Ellie & Joel was one of the best scenes in this game.
I teared up hard during that scene, such a beautiful moment between Ellie & Joel. Joel made the ultimate sacrifice for a cure to save Ellie just to have the feeling of having a daughter again.
"What is the downside to eating a clock? It's time consuming." She laughed it off, saying it was dumb. I know it's a game but them graphics are fucking good, look at Joel's face. Dude tried to convey a serious message here and it flew above everyone's head. The clock is symbolic of his guilt for deceiving Ellie for so long. That joke made him realize that unless he deals with it and tells Ellie the truth, his guilt will eat away at him, and living in the past means you don't see the present passing by. You end up wasting away every hour of every day. I don't think he is so quiet because of the shit he's been through or how he lost Sarah, his daughter. I genuinely think Ellie grew on him, unintentionally became his *daughter* and renewed his purpose on Earth. I think he's so quiet because he can't stand himself for doing Ellie wrong. And by wrong I don't mean he did wrong by saving her, he feels he done her wrong because he knows he did something that went against her wishes and beliefs, THEN lied about it. If you remember in the first game, that Joel was a chatty fucker. Yeah he was grumpy and bitched all the time but the man spoke his damn mind. The diametrical change in Joel's character was molded both by his Love (for Ellie) and Hatred (for himself).
Am I talking outta my ass here? What do you think?
Nice analisys
I am pretty sure it's just a joke
Well he did say “it made me think of you.” Maybe it made him think about how much time he was using to lie to Ellie
i don't know if I've ever been so disappointed I have been waiting for this game for so many years and the creators probably forgot that it is the story of Joel and Ellie, not this Abby. Probably one of the developers that put it in their as a joke because Neil Druckman ruined the game
Adriaan Draije whoever did that is a fucking legend.
The true game we all deserved....
Nah, people got exactly what they deserved lol.
Sentient Scarecrow and thats what? A bad Story
@@xe64ini3 To you but not to me
“If somehow the Lord gave me a second chance at that moment... I would do it all over again”
I know it sounds dumb but, Joel always reminded me of my father and it made fall in love with his character. Seeing Joel die in such an undignified way makes me feel like I've just lost my father. I wish I never played this game so that way I could remember him the way he deserved to be remembered.
Hey guys this is my version of the story of the last of us part 2.
We start the game just like in the beginning with Joel and Tommy discussing the incident of the fireflies, and as it progress, we go back in time to see how Joel and ellie's relationship starts to grow until she is 19 years old. All the sections of the game are divided into the 4 stations, but each one takes place one year after the other. We see ellie grow up and Joel get old, on these years we get to see the other characters like Jesse and Dina and Abby, but in a good way and not on this horrible fan fiction story. At the Joel finish his narrative with Tommy, comparing all those stories that he had lived alongside ellie during all these years, with the incident of the fireflies and how he now fears for what he has done to this point of his life, that's when ellie opens the garage and finds Joel and Tommy, telling them that it's time to go back to town for the party, Dina who is married with ellie shows up with her baby along with Jesse, they mention that Abby is calling for them so that they can start the party, then Joel remembers that he has done horrible things just like everyone else, and probably he will face the consequences some of these days, but for now he will help to recreate what defines us as a species, he will help us to recreate the humanity within us, that's when we ride back to the town and the credits roll. What do you think guys?, way better right.
Amazing
So the baby is Jesse’s?
Too lazy to read it all but I already know its better
Beautiful
They would like more impact. So “consequences in some other day” is not work.
That is fan-service story which could be another DLC.
Sorry but I believe they gonna change anything.
1:16:30 - 1:16:36 me thinking about this game after finishing it.
If the game was specifically this but stretched out a little bit to 10 or 15 hours, it WOULD be the game of the generation. Switch between Joel, and Ellie, give us the game we wanted.
He was such a dad at the museum it was so adorable. 😂
at least when joel died we had flashbacks of him, so we did get some joel and ellie time🥺
18:40 who knew that joes was really talking about this game.
This is enough for me, I do not want to spoil this with the rest of the game, thank you.
The fact that they where able to do this flashbacks show us they where able to make a good sequel but they decided to go for the sjw agenda instead.
What do you define as an sjw agenda?
G Dog Gaming yea fr I don’t really see a big sjw agenda in this game it’s just takes too many risks that don’t pay off
J.I.N but you are right dude, the sexual orientation of the characters doesn’t matter, what matters is that the story is poorly written and it’s just bad.
@@iandres2394 yeah, but when the most important part of a character it's their sexuality it becomes boring
@@LycanPower12 They threw in a transgender character and solidified Ellie as a lesbian as a shield for their shitty story. "Oh you don't like the game, you're a homophobic, transphobic, bigot!"
It sad that just when Ellie trying to fix his relationship with Joel, the next day, Joel died
18:35 Seems like that's a trend nowadays, Joel.
17:32 Call back to TLOU1 intro, from Sarah's birthday card for Joel.
17:41 that was funny actually
Very ironic that even joel himself said at 18:40 that sequels aren't good
Well his voice actor said he enjoyed every second of the game or something like that.
@@areallygoodname766 Eh, Joel's an already previously established and very well-developed character, I think he was written so well he probably transcends his own voice actor, which just speaks as to how good he was written from the first game.
And besides Troy always looks like he's desperately trying to defend Neil in spite of never having any valid arguments outside of "Neil spent a lot of time on this guyz".
You are the hero we needed
Thank you
They ended the relationship between joel and Ellie on such a sour note. The last scene was a day before his death and he just could not get an "I forgive you" out of this girl🙁
Bro this should've been the actual story of part 2 like this meant everything that ellie and joel been through which is sad. 😔😔
13:28 for "that's a big boy" from ellie
Getting disrespected by Ellie, the one he cares about a lot, getting killed in an nastiest way,Joel went from being the baddest badass to being a saddest guy.,not giving any shit Joel is much better then part 2 joel.wat have you done naughty dogs,I sincerely cared for him.and why the hell is Ellie behaving to him like this????Ellie went from I want to hear you sing Joel to stop it I want to sleep Joel.
Preach
It's like Naughty Dog just forgot who Joel & Ellie we're after 7 years 😔
It’s a post apocalyptic world what did you expect?
Let's face it, the reason why we play this game is the flashback events where Joel is still alive.
agreed
Joel and Ellie’s relationship reminds me so much of me and my mom’s. The sarcastic quips, getting on each others nerves, the awkward moments, yet the love is still there. Like Joel, my mom has given me so many opportunities and done so much for me. I think that’s why I connect to these games so much. That, and because I don’t really have a dad in my life lol (sorry for ending a sad note).
Can you imagine how bad Ellie would've felt if they didn't have that final interaction before Joel died? Shit kinda hurts when you think about it.
18:38 Joel describes the last of us 2
Jesus man, they did Joel dirty! Is their finally memory together really going to be Ellie chewing Joel out (and have the possibility of making up denied)!? I’m sure she has her reasons, but from a story perspective to has to be the most bitter endings for one of gaming’s most beloved protagonists.
Question? Why was this not the entire game? Seriously? it just feels more natural, And more like
last of us we all came to love.
The Last Of Us Part 2 Joel: "I know you wish things were different I wish things were different but they ain't"
Red Dead Redemption 2 Arthur Morgan: "I wish things were different but it wasn't us who changed"
35:38 “Welcome to Earth” :’)
Ellie and Joey walking around in a museum is more enjoyable then the whole story in tlou2
Ellie: "I got you back, you are vey angry and upset"
Joel: "I am very angry and upset :D"
Goddamn the two of them were amazing
The best part of the game! Why I love the Last of us franchise. But, in the second game, the whole story was a huge mess.
those the last seconds 're so heartbreaking.... what have u done creators! so hurts
I was saying that if Naughty Dog left everything in chronological order, more people would have actually felt great about the game overall. Also, instead of having Abby kill Joel out of sheer dumb luck, they should have actually had us play as her prior to Joel killing her father at the fireflies hospital. So at we could have a much better understanding on why she did what she did.
EXACTLY! After seeing this video it made me realize the sequence of events is totally fucked up. Joel dies wayyy too abruptly for me to really feel anything. Its a shame
Bro we literally play as abby prior Joel kills her father . So idk what you are saying but we do play as her. Short period but I think the necessary one to understand
Gonna say to myself that the stuff that isnt flashbacks were just nightmares and the flashbacks are the actual game
I wish that the ending is where Ellie kills Abby while saying "This is for killing my father". Then after she killed her/him, Ellie becomes unconcious and playing the song from the trailer..
I walk through the valley
Of the shadow of death
and I fear no evil cause I'm blind to it all
and my mind, my gun they comfort me
cause I know I kill my enemies when they come.
No I can't walk on the path of the right cause Im wrong.
Then she brings the guitar to give it to Dina's baby.. the end not that letting go the person who killed the one who saved you ellie so that you could be with dina.
Clam Chi Lesson one is world won’t give everything you want. You have to live with it.
It is how our world works.
Id have been pretty epic if Ellie used the same golf club on Abby.
I read the first two verses and thought it was gangsta's paradise lol
beji sarada.. thank you for that comment. It makes me think different from what I used to believe.
Abby had a father she loved but Joel killed him.
Thank you man for putting the work to make this video!! I downloaded it. When my daughter grows up enough to understand where her name comes from, I'm going to tell her that this is TLOU2!
Those last two scenes hurt me, especially the way Joel gets treated. Their relationship didn't get better at the end
I'll just treat this as an ending to last of us generally and live with the thought Joel dying of old age, simple as that
Now if there was an option implemented to play just these flashbacks maybe i’d consider sticking the disc in my playstation. I mean ND had so many accessibility settings surely it shouldn’t be too hard to implement a setting that helps people who hate bad writing enjoy this game
My favourite flash back is when Ellie is about to be killed by the bloater and Joel saves her with the machete and you see how Joel starts slashing away at the bloater and there you see that Joel doesn’t wanna lose Ellie
