I think Tlou2 was a masterpiece. And there were missions like that, like Abby with her father in a flashback, the beginning of the game and The Farm section. If you only see the cynicism in the game, you end up missing the important moments, with all the characters, like Abby and Lev.
@Jared Holt then its The Last of Us part 1 all over again. And then y'all be complaining that they dont do different shit
@@newman-ce3ux the game was fine. It makes sense because ever since Joel killed the doctor (Abby’s father) he wanted to find a vaccine. Joel killed him and Abby wanted revenge. So the game is fine
As sad as this game is regarding him, it was really nice to see Joel laughing and being happy, something he never was in the first game
This is the game we wanted.
This is the game we deserved.
But not the one we needed
"Looks like a giraffe"
Massive throwback to the original
"I hate cliffhangers"
*first game ends on a cliffhanger*
"There was a sequel, wasn't as good"
*The sequel is terrible*
O h
@Arigato Senpai I agree, it wasn't a cliffhanger after all.
@Tacitus Kilgore yes it was, we got stuck wondering if ellie knew what happened or not
Abby did nothing wrong
@@48917032 she killed someone tho
@@chalkynommy9578 but Joel did too, what's your point?
Dude, I actually teared up when they were just talking and cracking jokes in the dinosaur exhibit. I missed it without even knowing, I guess.
When Joel told Ellie to close her eyes when she was listening to the take off, it looked like he was crying
Wow this Teaser looks really good.....I wonder when the full game is gonna come out so that we can go on more Classic Joel and Ellie adventures!
Joel: How do you plan to get yourself over there?
Ellie: *y E e t*
One day I imagine near the end Ellie will come back to this place and smile
We need a Part 3... all our hearts are broken 💔
She will come back to this place and find Joel’s hat . She will be remembering all the good memories
This scene is adorable the way they bicker and talk from where they were the first game till now from joel not wanting to know her to wanting to be thier for her through everything they came a long way
I'm glad channels like your exist. No commentary no bullshir just gameplay. And thank you for playing this so I can see if all the leaks are true and that niel druckmans self insert is as cringe inducing and as much of a douche as I have heard.
Great work with the vids. Love your channel
Thank you for realizing that the Uploader and the Game Developer are two different people. Some of his videos have a lot of dislikes for showing off the notorious scenes from the game, even though it's not like he was the one that made it.
MKIce&Fire is a thing.
Is it really that bad to put himself into a game when he is the maker?
DarkLightKisame it is really that bad when your “self insert” spits on Joel’s grave
@@_EllieLOL_ wasnt that the mexican dude though? i thought neil was white
This is the heart of the 1st game, it didn't have to be somber throughout.
But it needed these two, the team.
feel like this is what should have been for dlc of tlou1 not about sequel
This
EXACTLY OMGGG IM SO SADDDD
Don't forget AnitaSarkisian
Imagine people finding this museum in a couple dozen years...and seeing hats on all the dinosaurs.
16:20 Ellie doing the silly facial expressions through the mirror had me dying 🤣🤣🤣 this is definitely the ellie we shoulda got from the first game
32:03 Not only did they kill yall's boy brutally without reason, but they also gave him a weak ass splash. Dam Naughty Dawg did yall cold.
“See there was this sequel, it wasn’t as good” almost as if he knew what people would say about the game
They had a good daughter and father relationship
It’s a great flash back
This is just what I needed. I will watch this over and over again until I can convince myself this is the whole game and this flashback is the ending idc what anyone says. All we wanted was this but no.
I'm doing the same
13:09 Joel spoiling the entire game
🤣
I wanna see this in the show. Pedro can deliver the exact same
Emotions.
As a die-hard Jurassic Park fan, hearing Joel reference the original and The Lost World made my day
Killed Joel just like they killed Luke
Yup
IMO Luke had a good death, an emotional one after saving everyone, while Joel’s was just very dissapointing and for the shock value only.
@@abravogaleppi that wasn't look who died on that stone. That was a cranky old bastard pretending to be Luke Skywalker. The character assassination Disney did to him was GOT S8 level.
@@NineM_YorHa Nah it wasn't that bad him drinking the milk from the alien tit was funny lol and I honestly found his "i'm too old for this shit" kind attitude pretty refreshing and relatable for a character like him. There's a lot of shit in that movie that just sucks but I think Luke is actually one of the things it came close to getting right, he just needed a bit more screen time.
How Ellie puts her head on the guitar is so heartbreaking... then to see what this innocent young girl will be going through in just a few years later.
Also, something about Joel just openly talking about Sarah always get me
13:08 JOEL KNOW WHAT'S UP
Hello Dutch Plan Der Linde
@@cheeseburger2720 we need moony
Do you have a plan to get Joel back Dutch
Those Jurassic Park references were very on-point. This might be one of my favorite sequences of the whole game.
This is the most touching episode I’ve ever seen
I like how nobody mentions the Pokémon reference
Where is the pokemon reference
@@kingalucard9115 "Or was it those little creature things." starting at 15:48.
The guitar with “welcome to earth” is just so perfect.
1 flashback is better than the entire 16 hour game.
25 hours, this just shows all the hate is coming from people who haven’t even played the game
@@tomasherrera91 Or maybe it shows that people couldnt stand how bad the game was and couldnt finish it all the way because of the horrible story and heart ache it caused
Elmers Glue that makes no sense
Ming reviews? It holds 95 on metacritic, which reviews are those?
@@tomasherrera91 wow you actually take the critic reviews seriously? You know theyre all skills and theyre doing it so their access isnt revoked right? Look at the user scores that tells the real story and how bad this game actually is. And my argument does make sense. Just because someone didnt finish the game doesnt invalidate their opinion. If its so bad they cant finish (which it was in some cases) then its not gonna get better with more play time.
Joel laughing gives me life...
13:14
Joel: there was a sequel, wasn’t as good.
Me: I felt that
"I do okay?" 😭😭
See this would have been a perfect sequel... not the pile of shit we got... was really hyped for the game
Did bruce straley come back for these sequences because they actually feel like TLOU.
They really do, and i dont know if thats a good or a bad thing. I mean, the potential was still there all the time, the flashbacks prove it, but in the end we got... well, everyone knows what we got. ND knew what we wanted and just went the opposite direction.
I wonder if this was a scene they'd written for the first game that got left out. I could honestly imagine some old scripts laying around in some store room and the new writers are like "So, how can we twist the knife a little more." And they dig up this old unreleased gem. Well, that's my theory anyway since I could honestly see this being a part of the first game, maybe as an epilogue DLC or something.
@@dreadrath this could belong to the first game perfectly, yes, but ther are more scenes between joel and ellie and they feel as good as in the first game too, grown up Ellie scenes. The potential was still there, they just went completely nuts.
At least they left us more moments like these, thats all i wanted for a part 2
@@Giac_of_all_trades I dont know if it was that, more he just really wanted to do this revenge plot and no one told him "no".
13:10 “There was a sequel. Wasnt as good.” Oh the irony
not only is it “wasn’t as good” it’s goddamn damn awful
This whole part of the game made me cry tbh
Did nothing but smile throughout these 30 mins 🥺
No one:
Literally no one:
Not even Joel:
Ellie: That's a big boy
Wait, did she really say that?!!
I thought it was edited. 🤭
Ellie acting like a child is so adorable 😂👌🏾
"I think Sarah was into those for a while. Or was it those little creature things? I forget."
That line delivery broke my heart a little.
One of my favorite Joel and Ellie moments. Joel gave her a gift, a dream that she could never accomplish in that world. Close enough
32:11
I'm really dissapointed that Ellie didn't ask: "Who's Geronimo?"
This shows that they were actually capable of making the game everybody wanted, but simply didn't care and created this hot mess in order to be "bold" and "revolutionary".
I come here to heal my soul after this absolute misery of a game
Should not of gotten game of the year it should of gotten scam of the year
@Bobby Papoutsis Thank you very much for the recommendation. Will definitely check it out when I have the time!
Troy and Ashley's chemistry is just too perfect. They were made to play these characters
Seeing Joel being a Loving perent to Ellie... Brings a tear to my eye😢
Joel: See, there was a sequel. wasn't as good.
Oh Joel my old man :(
After recently playing the game again, I really don’t think I played any other game that make you feel that feeling of losing a loved one. Not just with moments like these but when Ellie talks about him or come across something that remind her of him like coffee or a movie poster
