    The split fire Kawasakis from the 90s are the baddest looking bikes of all time!!! I'll never forget seeing Ricky on his 125 it's just a historical masterpiece what you have done brother!!!💪

      Thank you dude! Yeah man Ricky ripping on the 125 was just so fun to watch. Good stuff!

    The bike looks and sounds awesome. Wish you had ridden it on the pipe so we could hear it the way it’s supposed to sound. Remember 2-strokes aren’t meant to be ridden in the low and midrange, the top end is where all the power is. Beautiful build, hope some of my KX projects turn out as good.

      Btw, the sprockets and suspension will need to be tuned based on the top end power, not low or mid.

      Thanks dude! I was still being easy on it since it was still being broken in and the jetting was a little lean. But also, let's be honest, I'm not pro status either 😂.

    I am a sucker for the original graphics. Just looks so good to me. Great job with the build. Are we going to be able to see Pingree testing it out?

      Thanks dude! I was actually pretty excited to put the stock plastics on to see how it looked. Almost like a "factory" oem look. I dig it.
      And yessir! We will be seeing the Whiskey Throttle Media video down the road 👍🏼💨

      Right? These KX engines are super fun to ride. The 03 is still really similar to the 99 in terms of construction. Big fan

    Man if you are local to Miller motosports I’d love to get both P/C builds out there and run them! I wish I would known you were there! It’s an hour from my house

      Let's just say it takes me a little longer than that to get there ;). That would be epic though! Totally down for that. Super fun track. Shoot me some pictures over IG of yours, I don't think I've seen it yet💨

      Thanks Luke! Yeah man, wanted to make sure everything was A OK before letting someone else rip the bike. Always stressful when it's not yourself riding it, you definitely don't want anything to happen 🙌🏼💨

    How’s does this compare to you recent Stewart Replica you built a few years ago?

    • @GregHitchko
      @GregHitchko  11 месяцев назад

      Right off the bat I feel like this motorcycle is more stable than the 07. The 07 dances around a little more. This has a little bit better bottom end I'd say as well. The 07 is more "flickable". I would have loved to really ride them back to back

    Finally did some digging and found out the supposedly 2001 kx250 I bought is actually a 1999. Glad I didn’t start ordering parts yet lol.

    • @GregHitchko
      @GregHitchko  11 месяцев назад +2

      Oh dang!! Did you confirm it with the VIN number? Good thing those years are pretty interchangeable with the parts 🙌🏼. What's your plan with it?

      😂 next time check the vin numbers on frame and motor numbers simple people lie all the time on what they have forsale

      Only difference from 01 and 99 is the reedcage

    • @ccooper04
      @ccooper04 11 месяцев назад

      @@jakeresnick2669 I understand that, the guy I got it from bought like 7 from Texas when he was working. Want to say it was from an auction and had to buy the lot as a whole. I’m not complaining by any means, I got it as a project as this was in the video. I’m just glad I didn’t start buying up parts being misinformed. Just glad the 99-02 are mostly interchangeable with most components.

      @@GregHitchko I did last night when I got home from work. When I picked it up, it was late and last minute. I found the deal and jumped on it while on the road so I didn’t have time to do some real research. But it’s a project just as this one is you did. Just glad I didn’t buy parts before confirming. I did already buy a owners manual and good thing the 99-02 are all in the manual I got

      Oh shut up man, show some respect.. The engine is freshly built, and each to their own skills. Greg is great Project builder and a good weekend warrior just enjoying it. You want to see a pro level rider, well wait until the whiskey show as stated in the video.
